I learned the job after I was put with a qualified trainer! I was there 10 days before my 90 probationary period, and had no points, then one day they called me into the office, and threw 3 points on me in one day! I was told during training, they would let me know when I received the first point, as a warning! No such thing happened! They allow permanent employees to bully you with no reprocussions, yet question everyone in your department about a new person! I learned the job in less than a week and was pushing out as many parts as people that had been there 10 plus years! Management doesn't care about helping you learn, basically you're on your own! Thankfully I'm used to that! They act like they're a reputable company that actually cares about people, but really they don't! Don't fall for it like I did! If it seems too good to be true, it usually is! 

What is the best part of working at the company?
The only good thing about working there was some of the great people I met and are still friends with today. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
EVERYTHING. The management is horrible, the schedule changes ever so often, they let upper management treat the lower employees like dogs and refuse to do anything about it. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Horrible. All employees are run down, overworked, and under appreciated. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Awful. I dreaded going in there everyday and it felt like every day was longer and longer and never ending.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The staff is one aspect that makes working at Red Valve one of the best places I have ever worked. The potential for growth is another great reason that keeps me at Red Valve. Hard work is rewarded.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
ERP system.. but this is being upgraded by 2024

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The culture is warm and friendly. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Work hard and enjoy the evening because my work is done in 8 hours.

Great hours. Work from 6-2:30  Monday through Friday

Have a very important job in maintenance and don’t have enough workforce to ensure safety

Everything is monitored so as to catch someone doing something wrong

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A very busy day.  Always working on machines on any given day

Management is poor, supervisors are poor. A lot of favoritism. Supervisors have their spouse working under them. The job is not a place you’ll feel comfortable working at. Some ppl are given easier tasks depending on who they know. The pay is not feasible for the amount of work you do. The human resource person is not fair if you have an issue. She continuously sides with people that have been on the job for years. You are not given a fair chance.

The fellow employees are good people.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Management doesnt take suggestions on how to improve

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The fellow employees are good people. There is no room for growth especially if you show you're good in one area.

Great people to work with.  Not enough employees and Employees are overworked. Pay is decent but no one gets raises on time.  No room for advancement no matter how hard you work.  Sales seems to always be down when you ask for a raise.  No real leadership in management

Company believes that the orders should ship, regardless is 3 mos late.  OTD is less than 40% Employees made to work OT - 6 days wk. Management is NEVER on the floor assisting always in the front office - why?  To improve the issues in the plant...OK.  If you want to work all the time, get treated like a prisoner and no acknowledgement for a job well done this company is for you.  Good luck!  

Don’t apply for a job at this company. They promised things and never followed through on them. Don’t care about employee opinions and the company has gone downhill since it was sold. All the main company cares about are the numbers and not making customers happy.

Management does not care. The work is steady but no room for advancement. The front offices are locked. You cannot speak to someone important without making an appointment but there is no access to email and no one will take your  call.
