What is the best part of working at the company?
DISAPPOINTED IN THIS ORGANIZATION. Redlands does not believe in their own values. Does not want the employees to be successful. 
Does not help employees or want them to grow and be successful. 
Upper Management and HR WILL NOT HELP WITH ANY ISSUES. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. 
As a former employee loyalty means nothing to this organization. 
Will let you go whenever. 
Do not recommend working here. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
No help from Upper management and HR. Human Resources will not help whatsoever. Hard work is not noticed or appreciated. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Toxic. Horrible. 
Upper management is toxic, they will make your feel uncomfortable and when HR is involved they will not do anything about it. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Stressful. Go into work and do over 12 hours and hard work is not noticed. Upper management will point fingers and blame anyone they can. Not enough staff to handle the work load.

Not a good budget strategy.Poor financial situation.

•	Coordinate performance improvement activity data required for each specialty dashboard.
•	Process education letters to the physicians related to the errors in blood transfusion, post-surgery, and deficiencies in core measure.
•	Generate organ procurement analysis for timeliness referral summary, meeting the goal to report to Onelegacy within or less than 1 hour and to achieve 95% or greater compliance.
•	Compute data of NICU central line patients and use it for infection prevention goal.
•	Run Fall, Transfer To the Higher Level of Care, and various incident reports.
•	Coordinate Tumor Board meetings for the presentation of cancer patient cases.
•	Coordinate, prepare, and maintain clinical activity profiles on assigned practitioners, to include two-year (Reappointments) and every six months (OPPE).
•	Highly improved the quality of each personal investigator’s research by researching on grant-donors and creating a database with the important information.

This hospital isn't a bad place to work. It's a small community hospital so everyone felt like family. They didn't pay as well as other hospitals in the area but they did attempt to give us raises to catch up every now and then (in addition to our annual raises). 

The main issue with small community hospitals (aside from pay) is that they can get away with enacting certain policies that benefit upper management but makes the workload much more difficult for the regular employees. For example, placing a heap of tasks on nurses and charge nurses aside from their regular duties. In larger hospitals, these tasks would be completed by staff who are hired specifically for these roles (or by outside companies). 

They were always concerned about having the best survey results and status in the community but wanted to obtain that through penny-pinching. Overall though, it's a fairly decent place to work. Employees are friendly and there's a sense of hospital-wide teamwork that's almost palpable, which is why I think many employees stay there for years. 

All O.R. staff were awesome to work with. Buyer position was the most challenging but gave me opportunity to learn a lot. Unfortunately some management members decided to  end my employment there unjustly and in a manner that I never thought the hospital would allow certain management treat their employees in such a way and make them out to be somebody they know was not true. This is the only downfall I have against the hospital and those involved. I hope I was the only employee who had to go through  what I experienced my last four months being employed there. I think some serious changes need to be made beginning with those who know that  they were wrong in the decision they made or are still making. They know who they are.

Ive worked at Redlands Community hospital for almost 6 years. Of those 6 years I have had many opportunities for advancement and have had job satisfaction in each job I held with the organization. The work environment is made even better by the staff that work at the hospital who aren’t here just for a paycheck but here to actually care and help for patients.
 While working in security I have had the opportunity to work with every department and I always felt valued and appreciated by other staff members. The security manager, supervisor, and security training officer are all great assets to the company and I would recommend this hospital to anyone looking to work hard in an awesome place to work. 
Pay is decent food is great but the environment and your coworkers are what make this place the best to me. It’s saddening for me to leave but the only reason I am is I am moving out of California if only I could bring this place with me.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Squared away organization. Plenty of work and demand for services so it's not slow basically..

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Patient burden could be tough in home health. Complex patients as it is an RN heavy home health and hospice.. Some stress with trying to contact Beaver providers but everyone is stretched pretty thin so it is what it is..

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Pretty high efficiency I'd say but a good team in HH and Hospice.. Good camaraderie 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Sync and transfer info in Netsmart EMR then proceed to contact clients and set your schedule. Weekly meetings but otherwise grab supplies and med lists and see your five clients..

I am non-clinical. I work in the Managed care department processing claims and reporting monthly compliance to the health plans along with performing annual audits. I answer all customer service emails and phone calls as well as process claims on a daily basis. Health plan compliance reporting is done each month. We are a team and we have great support from the management. Managing the staff and meeting compliance is very rewarding.  Staffing shortages are sometimes difficult, but with teamwork we manage to stay compliant and productive. Redlands Community is consistently providing training and courses to ensure a safe and friendly working environment. RCH is focused on Just Culture and accountability for all employees.

 Clean, and help maintain, equipment and work areas, and sterilize glassware according to prescribed methods
 Order, label, and count stock of medications, chemicals, and supplies, and enter inventory data into computer
 Receive and store incoming supplies, verify quantities against invoices, and inform supervisors of stock needs and shortages
 Add measured drugs or nutrients to intravenous solutions under sterile conditions to prepare intravenous (IV) packs under pharmacist supervision
 Establish and maintain patient profiles, including lists of medications taken by individual patients

Very busy and fun,

but I was unable to safely keep up with changes working once a month when allowed. Night house supervisor expectations are different than day house supervisors. 

I often felt, as if  was expected to perform as my peers on a once a month schedule if lucky. It was difficult to get hours unless there was last minute call offs, Vacation or schedule changes.

Over all I enjoyed the experience, and the staff, I would have preferred a regular at schedule at least twice a month and a scheduler starting at 0500.  This is to  prepare for 0700 staffing issues, as this was my responsibility as well as othe hospital wide issues.

A nice place to grow, and network, they really support new grads.

Knowledgeable physicians, good care, extremely poor departmental management with preference given to "friends of management" regardless of competency or moral standards. Good work experience for new staff, but extremely poor consideration for long term employees. Management tends to "weed out" long term employees in order to "save money" and profits/bonuses are given to department managers. Director of radiology has extremely poor attitude, low moral issues, low confiability and does not stand behind his word or policies, thus cannot be trusted.
