Was trained for two days, and was expected to know exactly my way around. The doctors I worked with were inappropriate with the way they spoke to staff in front of patients and other staff. One doctor was very inappropriate  in nature with his jokes and it made a lot of people uncomfortable. The office manager was useless as well as the bookkeeper. Neither were there when there was an issue or problem-- they were equally as inappropriate. The girls up front were very cliquey and not willing to help or train where needed. Was reprimanded for things there was no proof of, and let go suddenly when there was no more use for me. I would not recommend unless you enjoy feeling left out, or enjoy listening to inappropriate talk and behavior. Wish I knew who to contact to further tell my story. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
When I was let go unjustly because now I have a dream job ...And I am now recognized, rewarded and awarded for all of my hard work...this company did NOT do that

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Not have a supportive Management Team and the Directors were just as bad....I was an AR Specialist which is a  stressful position then add drama into the mix....

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very hostile, environment, non caring, this became the worst job I ever had.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I was miserable because of poor management it became a very hostile place to work and when we became remote it was better until I was "Laid off" unjustly  during COVID..

A typical office day started with getting patient folders ready, greeting patients as they came in, making appointments, taking
payments, answering the phone, taking messages for the nurse and
doctor. Being able to triage the phone calls that came into the office.
At the end of the day, go over messages with doctor and finish 
the paper work. Get ready for the next day. Some days were very
busy, nonstop. If there were emergency situations, the doctor would
make the time to see them that day to evaluate. I had wonderful
coworkers and we all worked very well together. When you miss the 
people you worked with, then it was a good working environment. 
Medical offices can be a stressful place at times, its fast paced, a lot of decision making all around.

Very rare to be fully staffed ,so you were worked to death. Insubordinate medical assistants. Worst management I have ever experienced. Lack of computers so you had to share with medical assistants and sometimes had to stand in line and waste time to chart. No benefits for 90 days and then I had to fight for them and deal directly with the insurance company because HR dropped the ball repeatedly. Important equipment would breakdown and they would take forever to fix it. If you like being bullied, this is the perfect place for you!!!

VERY stressful. Difficult to get time off. MUCH micro management. MUCH favoritism, YOU must give 110% ALL THE TIME, but if you need something  WELL HOW DARE YOU NEED SOMETHING!!!  Management is quick to be critical, but slow for a Hey good job. Too much emphasis on the dollar and not the comfort of the patient, wheel chairs are an accident waiting to happen.   Heavens you should stay 5 seconds past your time!!! There is no overtime allowed, well except for those chosen few- FAVORITISM...

Crazy busy office.  Constant interruptions to help patients with any questions they may have.  Always in contact with the insurance companies for authorizations.

Management is very nice and caring.

Co-workers are amazing.  They all work together and help each other.  

The hardest part of my job is losing a patient I was close with.  All the other little bothersome things do not matter.

The most enjoyable part of the job are the friends I have made.

All departments work together for the betterment of the company. Providers and nurses and all staff members care about the patients and their experience while in the office. Billing Department consistently worked together as one group to meet goal each month which was awarded with gift cards.

I fulfilled management tasks of opening the facility, as well as overseeing staff. Throughout the day I completed various administrative duties as well, including answering phones, drafting documents and emails, filing and greeting patients as needed. I also pulled weekly reports for upper management. I also provided strong support to my team, and resolved patient issues as needed.

Large Medical Hematology/Oncology practice with intense non-clinical and clinical patient contact.  12 physicians,4 NP, 14 RN, 16 Front Desk staff.  Phone volume approximately 500 incoming calls daily and an average daily patient flow of 180-200.

Excellent Management, Excellent Physician and Nursing Staff, Excellent and knowledgeable billing staff and Support Staff.

Stressful workplace, and often when there was an attempt to introduce fun it was shot down.  Much micro-management.  Had one performance review/raise in almost three years.  Not a place where those who serve are as valued as the ones who are served.  A once family-like community practice became more like a corporation.
