I wouldn’t recommend working here if you value clear communication or basic respect. I was commuting 4 hours a day to show up for this job, only to be fired without a real conversation. First, they claimed I “threatened to quit,” which never happened. Then, after I called that out, they suddenly came up with new reasons — none of which were ever brought to me while I was actually working.

They were willing to let me come back and work another shift, then used made-up issues after the fact to justify letting me go. That tells you everything you need to know. Instead of communicating, they assume, gossip, and make decisions behind your back.

They can’t keep staff because they don’t know how to treat people. Simple as that.

From floor staff to management, the PACC is family. If you’re in healthcare, looking for solid opportunities, or just wanting true stability, this is the place to work. The nurses and CNAs are amazing!!! This pandemic has truly shown the solid teamwork within our building. The facility is always finding reasons to celebrate- from the smallest victories to just ringing-in another Friday with food. There’s always something to look forward to. The facility is not only energetic about staff, but the quality of care for residents is top priority. I would absolutely recommend the PACC! If anything, go see the Life Enrichment Director (he’ll make your day)!

Rock Hill PACC is a wonderful place to work, IF you’re a positive upbeat person who believes in genuine team effort and values such as accountability, ownership, and loving one another! The team work here between department heads is incredible, and it flows over onto the floor. We truly have some of the best individuals in their profession working here. Most employees who get disgruntled and leave is because they were not allowed to poison the building with their negativity and unprofessional behavior. Only the right people in the right seats will be able to ride on this bus!

They hired a bunch of friends, made up positions, and the new friends get preferential treatment. These folks are mostly friends to the current administrator. Many of the jobs not posted for the already there staff to even apply for per their policy. Corporate does not care! They do not gather staff to even see anonymously what the problems are. There’s no confidentiality at all with employees There are no one to advocate for staff. Great over turn. Staff ratio to patients is extra nominal. Residents are great.

Never in my 15 years of working in health care have I encountered such an absolute awful place to work. Co-workers are back stabbing & lazy, administration is uncaring, HR princess works part time but gets paid full time, work day revolves around lunch which is between 2-3 hrs for management. Worst part is they fact that they don’t care about the residents they care about only the money. Stressful, uncaring and simply awful place to work!

A typical day is me coming in and helping out wherever I can help. We work together as a team and we always get the job done! The patients and residents that are here depend on us so I try to show up and when I’m here I treat people like I like to be treated. 

I have been at Rock Hill Post Acute Care Center for 17 years! I started as a CNA, got my LPN, and am now a unit manager!  My coworkers are my work family and we always try to make each other feel like family. I was going to stay on after I got my LPN to get a year of experience before moving on. That was 14 years ago. I never left!

Real good coworkers, my nurses work good with me. Management helps when needed. The environment is good around here most of the time. This company consist of 12 hours a day I like that. They will pay bonuses to work over

Only got 2 day training and they sent me on the floor. a few nurses were nice but the majority of staff  acted like they hated their job. Never had enough help to care for residents and when i had a death in my family , no one said anything and they didn't give me bereavement leave or pay

I started working at this location as a CNA, then left long enough to go to nursing school and once I graduated I came back as a nurse. I was so scared about coming back and learning something new but everyone made it easy and helped in anyway they could. I would not want to be anywhere else.
