The new owner doesn't know if he's coming or going and bit off more than he can chew with a brand that started out as glorious as the Titanic, but he ran it into the iceberg. Rather than sit in an office in NYC with a team, he should have had regional managers visiting stores trying to problem solve. I'm not quite sure who the claims to be the assistant manager in the review for the BCM 4/15/19, because I know for a fact I was the last ASM that left in Jan of 2019. Store management wasn't the issue, it was lack of support from the main offices. Work was mundane, customers were nice, the environment was great, but I wasn't solving the problems of the world. My biggest problem was staff and after awhile the pettiness was too much. When the manager can't manage a member because she will call the owner it's a no-win and it's a toxic environment.(I started this review a few months ago and just realized I never pushed the submit)

The pay wasn't too bad but it only works if you're young with no real bills or responsibilities. They do not give raises at all and the commission structure was a little weird but the hourly was okay.
