Working at Stiiizy has been a unique experience, and I feel compelled to share my thoughts on the company culture and overall working conditions.

First and foremost, I must address the culture at Stiiizy, which I found quite toxic. The pressure to constantly produce results is unrelenting, and the consequences of falling short of expectations can be severe. It often felt like you were walking on eggshells, afraid that any misstep could lead to negative repercussions. This high-pressure environment can affect one's mental and emotional well-being.

Furthermore, the benefits provided by Stiiizy left much to be desired. The compensation and benefits package should be more competitive for a company that places such heavy demands on its employees. Many of us felt that our hard work and dedication were not adequately rewarded.

One of the most concerning aspects of Stiiizy's culture is the perception that advancement within the company is largely dependent on belonging to a specific ethnic group. This type of favoritism is unfair and goes against the principles of equal opportunity and diversity in the workplace. It creates a divisive and unhealthy atmosphere among employees.

Another issue I observed is that friends and family predominantly manage the company. While there's nothing inherently wrong with hiring people you trust, this practice can lead to a lack of diversity in perspectives and ideas. It can also create a closed-minded and insular work environment, which hinders innovation and growth.

In terms of employee amenities, Stiiizy falls short. Apart from water and coffee, which are provided for free, employees are expected to pay for all other refreshments. This might seem like a minor issue, but it can add up over time and contribute to feeling undervalued as an employee.

It's worth noting that Stiiizy is skilled in marketing itself externally, but this does not necessarily translate to a positive internal working environment. Prospective employees need to consider these factors carefully before joining the company.

In conclusion, while Stiiizy may have a strong external image, my personal experience and observations have led me to believe it may not be the best workplace. Significant drawbacks include a toxic culture, inadequate benefits, questionable advancement practices, and limited employee perks. Anyone considering employment at Stiiizy needs to weigh these factors carefully and think twice before committing to this workplace.

The idea of what the company wants to become and I’m sure will be one day is fun and exciting. Unfortunately though this company is still a start up and they really don’t have any idea on how to run a business, the inconsistency in training and development is showcased by the inexperienced workers they have serving the public in their Retail Store Management and Corporate Management. Everyone is focusing on everyone else and not dong their job efficiently & was very alarming to see how Non-compliant these self-proclaimed professionals were. Your advancement there has nothing to do with your performance it’s all based on nepotism and who’s hot and who’s not, it’s a very superficial work environment and have to fit the “image” but I can see how it could be a fun work environment if the people actually like you, but if they don’t you’ll be fired within a month like me for stupid reason and all of a sudden wanna follow process & procedures that they don’t even know themselves. Which is hilarious because rules were broken every 15 minutes there and no one was ever held accountable. The corporate staff is filled with a bunch inexperienced workers who no nothing about the job they are doing or literally just given. The first week I started working there gossip and rumors were already created about me and I never even spoke to anyone enough for them to know anything about me. It was very disappointing to say the least because I was always such a fan of the brand and was super excited to work there but unfortunately my experience there was a lot more bad then good when it came to my relationships with the employees around me. The people who actually matter are afflicts of the owner or shareholders in the company were the only nice people & made me feel the most welcomed, the Director’s, Executives & V.P’s themselves are actually really cool people. Unfortunately they’re so busy actually working and picking up the slack that they don’t notice the minutia that’s going on around them or just don’t have the time to deal with it. I really don’t feel I had a fair chance there unfortunately. 

- At STIIIZY, I currently onboard new hires for the entire company. I run the virtual orientation and ensure that all new hires submit all required employment documents and support all applicants and departments throughout the onboarding experience. I have regular meetings with department heads and the HR team on how to improve the hiring process, fill needs, and provide as much support as possible in onboarding. 
- STIIIZY has taught me everything I know now when it comes to the Cannabis industry, Training and and Development, HR, etc. Prior to working with STIIIZY, my experience was very limited, but the company broadened my expertise through first hand experience, on-the-job training, and endless growth opportunities. There have been many success stories of entry level employees who were able to grow with the company and gain job expertise that made them valuable to other companies. 
- The management team is the hardest working group of leaders I've ever worked with. They are not perfect because they are growing just like everyone else, but they are always giving their 110% and trying to be better. A lot of people don't like being held accountable, but this company is all about taking accountability and growth. If you enjoy working hard and always striving to be better, this is the place for you. 
- I love the workplace culture. It's a bunch of hardworking people just trying to do the best they can in an industry that is ever-evolving and rapidly growing. A lot of your teammates will end up becoming life-long friends because you are in the trenches together, and it's awesome seeing the results of your hard work, being a part of something bigger, and doing it with people you love. 
- I personally love everything about my job. I love the hustle and bustle. Ofcourse it's hectic - it's the Cannabis industry !!!  I love being able to share the story of STIIIZY to new hires and getting them excited to be a part of our vision. I love collaborating with departments and seeing entry level employees grow in their position from a part time job to a career pathway. 

First let me start off by saying they throw all this information at you to intake. It’s amazing the fact they want knowledgeable workers  but with all the work and amount of stress they put you through and being underpaid is pretty ridiculous. They completely control your work schedule and expect you to completely commit to stiiizy even if you’re just  part time and you’re also going to school or have your own thing going on outside of work. They pretty much have you like a puppet on a string. Work schedules are never put out on time, they “enforce” you to wear only stiiizy but California state law says no retail employee can force you to purchase their clothes. Unfortunately they hire a lot of young people who are unaware and majority of them aren’t even happy when I talk to them but little do they know their actual worth. Management is strict and firm so only way of really growing is being completely okay with shoveling elephant **** and working your way to the top that way. I’ve never worked in an environment that carries themselves so pretty on the outside but really the workers feel like Modernized Sweat shop workers behind the scene. All I have to say stiiizy is if you want happy workers then there is a balance between being an honest manager and caring about your employees mental health and well being instead of just slaying them for another dollar burning them out with no benefits or good employee discounts. Stiiizy is the type of company that makes you feel like another number because once youre out they already have someone new and not aware taking your spot. 

I’m currently a budtender at STIIIZY, and while I adore the team and the majority of management at my store, I absolutely hate what this company has turned into. All this company cares about is clout and money. They pay no attention to their NorCal stores, and only their DTLA and new locations that pop up, which they literally only place in SoCal. Budtenders get a miserable discount of 10% (can’t even combine it with in-store discounts). Also, you HAVE to wear Stiiizy shirt to work, but even if you work 29 hours/5 shifts a week, they’re only gonna give you 2 shirts. You might also get a discount code every 6 months on Stiiizy’s merch website so you can PAY STIIIZY for your WORK UNIFORM. Like what?? This company is a mess and is focused on all the wrong things. They do not care for their own. They only care about handing out write-ups for not writing down what time you used their faulty fingerprint clock-in machine. They won’t penalize your fellow co-workers for actual reasons, like not showing up to work or leaving early for no good reason, but if your register is over $1, you will get yelled at! Also, you only get a 30 minute lunch? Also, Stiiizy customers are the worst. They do not tip, and they couldn’t be bothered with talking to the literal budtenders right in front of them. They treat us like they treat any other chain retail worker. I literally cannot wait to quit and work for another dispensary where the customers actually tip and you get more than 10% off on already overpriced product.

I've been with the company for two years, and it’s been a rewarding experience. The cannabis industry is fun, constantly evolving, and anything but boring. This isn’t your typical 9 to 5 job. A lot of hard work is involved, but if you’re driven and adaptable, the opportunities here are endless.

The company is growing quickly, including expanding nationally, which is exciting but also means there’s a lot of hard work ahead. Success here requires being able to think on your feet and adapt quickly to changes, which keeps things exciting.

One of the highlights for me has been the amazing coworkers. Everyone is dedicated, and supportive, and brings great energy to the team. On top of that, you get the chance to network with some really interesting and talented people in the industry.

That said, the cannabis industry has a lot of unique challenges, from navigating ever-changing regulations to managing the fast pace of a growing market. It’s not for everyone. If you’re looking for a predictable or traditional work environment, this might not be the best fit. But for those who thrive on challenges and are passionate about being part of a growing industry, it’s incredibly rewarding.

The leadership team here does a great job of setting clear goals and supporting employees, which helps us all push through the demands of the job. Despite the hard work, I’ve enjoyed every step of the journey. I believe in the company’s mission, and I’m excited about the opportunities ahead as we continue to grow and expand.

Growing up smoking weed i always wanted to work at a dispensary but quickly learned i would need more experience in the industry before seeing what i’m really capable of. I will always be thankful that stiiizy hired me  and gave me an opportunity i’ll never forget. However there is a true lack of everything to say the least. In my year at stiiizy i saw over 10 different managers/assistant managers most of them hired not based on experience and more importantly outside hires. They love to talk about your future as if you have one with the company but it’s all empty promises and a constant lack of communication and consideration for your time and efforts. You could go above and beyond for them and still never see a promotion unless they like you. it’s all about favoritism in this place. If the managers don’t like you you will not have a nice experience here. Managers hardly know what’s going on and find ways to blame everything wrong with the place on anything but themselves and their lack of communication. They also love to act as if they are your friends until it’s not convenient for them anymore. They will throw you under the bus and not even feel an ounce of remorse. This company does not care about its employees. Overall, if you choose to work here keep  to yourself don’t make friends with managers and don’t expect to be promoted even if you’re going above and beyond. Get some experience under your belt and get out as soon as you can. Don’t let this place ruin your passion and drive for cannabis like it did for me. 

This company thrives on favoritism and nepotism and doesn’t know what a hard worker actually is, the management are all either roommates or related or hired a friend of a friend they rarely hire outside of these relationships they may act like they aren’t aware they highly are, they would love to over work you if you let them, and I mean like work every weekend and not allow you to go vacation even though you submit a two week notice, they don’t offer any benefits even after a 1 year period or longer, they didn’t want to go union because it doesn’t interest the company more so the workers, even management would love to stay like this all though they are trying to stay on top of there p&qs but they lack the very simple thing like making there employees happy so that they can stick around, and they love to fire people or find a reason to finally fire you, and make it look good on there end. They have meetings with nonsense games like popping balloons instead of actual important stuff nothing related to actually helping with team building exercises or those sorts of things that real company’s offer they have questioners but if the management doesn’t favor you, your problem won’t become solved you think it was a safe place going to HR. But they will find reasons to make it seem like your in the wrong then like I said, find a reason to fire you . I had high hopes for this company to grow with but if your not highly favored you won’t have the chance.  They project that they are a diverse company but show you the they only hire a certain race or someone who is related to someone already in the company. 

What started as being excited to work for a company that came off as being for the people, quickly turned into a culture of popularity contests and cozying up to management.  
Management and store operations are a mess. They will appease employees with free product instead of actually rewarding them through career advancement.  They pass up on candidates with great management/operations experience and product/industry knowledge only to move up people they’re friends with or people they think they can control. They constantly change rules depending on who’s managing. They will write you up for things that don’t make sense. The schedule doesn’t come out until 2 days before the new week, sometimes even the night before; creating a huge problem in scheduling. There are a lot of young people in management, most under thirty so they lack the understanding and training it takes to run a fast paced, high volume retail store. Because of this, HR has been involved a lot with some of management having to attend sensitivity training as a consequence of how employees were treated. 
Beyond the bad, it can actually be a pretty cool job if you need to make some cash part time. Then you can ignore the drama and make some great tips! Coworkers are very laidback. Don’t expect a large discount. If you’re look for career advancement, this company is still very young and has a lot to learn so I suggest trying to enter at a higher level. 

My experience working at Stiiizy was incredibly disappointing. As someone who had spent years in the cannabis industry, I’d encountered various company cultures, but this one stood out for all the wrong reasons. The workplace was riddled with cliques and an overwhelming sense of favoritism, creating a toxic environment that only worsened over time.----

Management’s lack of accountability meant that issues were rarely addressed, and any attempts to bring up concerns were met with silence or temporary fixes that didn’t last. Gossip became the main form of communication as I worked longer, and it was clear that employees were undervalued. Hard work was often overlooked, while underperforming staff members were given better positions simply because of personal preferences, not merit.----

The company regularly used managers to travel and cover different stores, but the sense of reward for all the extra effort was non-existent. In fact, the lack of appreciation for loyal, dedicated employees only further demonstrated how little Stiiizy valued its team.----

Having worked in the cannabis industry for years, I can confidently say that my time at Stiiizy was one of the most regrettable and frustrating career choices I’d made. If you valued a healthy work environment, career growth, and respect for your hard work, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
