What is the best part of working at the company?
Administration. Do not include other area of clinical practice in implementation of policies and procedures. Uses extremely outdated policies and interventions. 
Have broken contract with every good doctor and hospitality group. This place has gone downhill rapidly since even before Covid. The doctor teams they’ve brought in are not thorough and most support staff knows more about patients than doctors. Some nurses are good but most here are ghetto and just play on their phones all day. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Nurses and doctors are doing anything 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Negative. They refuse to adjust pay to be on par with same position in other hospitals. Keep cutting positions 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Work is never done. Departments don’t get along. Not good interdepartmental teamwork

I expected so much more from this Company, but what I found was a lot of people trying to run an unorganized environment. There is constant turn over & constant flexing (having to take off because budget is low). I signed up for a 40hr work week not I may or may not get 40 hrs unless I utilize my PTO which means no Vacation/Sick Time. Management does not back up the employees in their department & what is training??? You are half shown things & have to learn the rest yourself all while doing another person's job again because of a short staff yet you are only paid for the job you are hired for. I have NEVER worked for a more unorganized Company which saddens me because they actually have "some" good workers!

Administration does not care how overwhelmed, overworked, and underpaid clinical staff are. Their belief system is your breathing with a pulse therefore you can take care of any and all patients. They don’t care that your area of expertise does not match with the complexity of the patient/case you are assigned to complete. They do not care that they are providing unsafe patient care. At the end of the day, it’s all about profit, and this is at the expense of patient safety and employee satisfaction. 

Atypical day at work is fast paced, menu can be simple or hard that involves doing more but varies.  I have learned that you have to pace yourself or you will get burned out.  Management can do better by being a boss instead of a friend.  The workplace culture has good days and bad days.  The hardest part of the job is people not pulling their weight and the strongest more proficient worker ends up doing all of the work.  the most enjoyable part of the job is patient satisfaction and superiors letting you know they appreciate your hard work.

Poor management, Favoritism...no reprimand for friends of management. A lot of unethical, immoral behavior from management down to the CNAs. Nurses use vulgar language at the desk...especially nurses in the charge position. Nurses don't respect patients and call them derogatory names. A lot of lazy employees. An embarassing place for the Catholic Church to have it's name on the building. Hardest part on the job is seeing the patients NOT being cared for and the employees sitting at the desk playing on the computer or their phones.

Report on 6-7 Patients,complete: assessments, meds, admissions, complete management reports,manage pain, and assist other staff. News meds are given every night with print out provided to patients and families. Team work is Great 2 RN's and 1 CNA work the whole floor of 12-14 patients. Hardest part is answering call lights and taking puts to bathroom without a Secretary. The relationship between my patients and me is what I Love..

The current director micromanages patient care and decisions, but he has yet to see a patient since he started 8 months ago. Upper management lies and promises change but the COO is too busy lying to actually help. The CEO is oblivious to the world outside his office and when he looks up the COO will have HIS job. It has grown toxic and it feels self defeating to go to work daily. The director is inappropriate and condescending. Therapists are leaving one after the other. Sad that it’s come to this.

I really enjoy the small community hospital environment. Nice to travel the halls and know everyone you bump into. Hospital is only 10 years old so it's very clean and bright.  Staff is good for the most part and surrounding area is good. Management sometimes lack forward thinking but that's a matter of opinion I suppose. Can relate with management on first name basis all the way to CEO which is nice. Best part is it feels like family here.

If you are looking for a place to advance or grow, SFH is not the place to work. Furthermore, the salaries are not competitive and they are fully aware of it. There is a very high turnover rate of pharmacy technicians in the pharmacy, thus making it extremely difficult to work as a pharmacist. Overall, SFH is good to be used as a stepping stone to somebody else. Oh, and forget about diversity, equity and inclusion... does not exist.. especially in the pharmacy!

Unprofessional leadership out of touch with actually patient care and experience. Time spent in endless meetings and mandatory book reviews on “building culture”, while leaders play games on their phones during meetings. Worst work environment in my 30 years of health care.
