Overall the company is great and had a wonderful work environment. They are forgiving if you don't meet quotas and show you are working hard, many in my program did not meet quotas after they changed how the metrics are done.

 Commissions are sub-par, I feel like I needed to work more than my set hours to make a decent commission check. If I were to do that I would have had to work off the clock. Overtime is never approved. Pay is pretty low, I left because it seemed like they expect you to do more research on your call list and you're not getting paid for the research done. I made less than $20 an hour with my base alone and it's pretty bad on management to push researching leads on employees when we rely on commissions for higher pay. 

My main issue is they offer almost no benefits. Terrible health plan (does not cover major medical), no 401k Matching, and you pay for your own disability insurance and life policy. PTO offer is ok, I think I was awarded 5 days and 3 sick days. I could not use them until the end of the year. The prior year I did not even get PTO. 

If you need a job and can deal with lower pay, lack of benefits, and low commissions then it's a good job to hold while looking for something else. Not a career job, more like a stepping stone while you are waiting for something better. If you're retired and bored and just want some extra money it's great for retirees with a sales background. 

I have worked for SalesRoads as an Inside Sales Representative and a Business Development Manager since 2012 and love this company!  Although we all work from our own homes throughout the United States we have developed great working relationships as well as friendships.  This is due to the interaction we have together with management via virtual meetings, virtual happy hours, etc.  The management of this company is phenomenal; totally hands on and working daily to improve our opportunities and to ensure our success.  They listen and act on our suggestions and make their appreciation of our efforts known.  Part time and full time opportunities are available and we set our own schedules on a week to week basis.  Management is flexible and understands that "Life happens" and there are times you cannot keep your schedule as submitted.

SalesRoads is a great place to work, like any growing company, they have some opportunities that can benefit the entire org.  My experience has been overall great.  I would like to see the company begin to trust the sales reps to be professional and do their job.  

I have been very fortunate to have had a few true work-from-home job opportunities in my career thus far. SalesRoads by leaps and bounds has been the absolute best! A typical day at work is tough since we are helping clients boost their pipelines with brand new prospects, but the management team is there for you! 99.9% of management that you interact with daily has been on the phone doing the tough work and 100% of them want you to succeed. The hardest part of the job is (you guessed it) cold-calling. The most enjoyable part of the job is knowing you are contributing to a company that cares about your success.

SalesRoads is a great entry level sales opportunity and offers a very flexible schedule. Promotions can be hard to come by, compensation varies quite a bit, and there is a manager in particular that multiple people have expressed concerns about, but the environment is very positive, supportive, and stimulating. None of the negatives really diminish the positive aspects of working with SalesRoads. I have very much enjoyed my time here and recommend SalesRoads to many people that I know.

I've worked at SalesRoads for 3 years and have been most impressed by management's effort to listen to employees. Ideas are sourced from the bottom-up and front-line employees are valued for their experience. SalesRoads' commitment to employees is underscored by the fact everyone is a W2 and full-timers get paid holidays.

A great place to work if you're looking to contribute meaningfully while working in a comfortable remote environment.

SalesRoads is by far the best company I've ever worked for as management & SalesRoads leadership creates a truly positive work environment. I have been working for SalesRoads for about 6 months now and I love it. A typical day at work begins by logging in then I simply smile and dial the day away. Management is very nice, always respectful, and professional. The hardest part of the job is dealing with negativity from potential clients, but that is easily overcome by not taking it personal. The best part of the job, other than working from home, is being able to overcome objections and meeting goals and quotas. Overall, SalesRoads is hands down one of the best companies to work for.

SalesRoads hires employees on a  contract basis, which is not specified during the interview or hiring process.  If the client cancels (and they are not under contract), you will lose your job with no warning. Management will say they will "try" to place you on another account, but all accounts are fully staffed.  If you are doing well on your account (meaning too much commission), you risk being pulled off that account and being put on another failing account  (because "you are so good at what you do"). If your desperate for a job, take it, don't stop job hunting. 

Everyone works as a team at SalesRoads and although we all live in many different states, we have many ways that we keep in touch and are close as if we worked in the same office.  Management cares about their employees and their families and understands that kids get sick, parents need help and the employee has appointments.   SalesRoads provides great training and coaching for all employees and is great to promote from within.  Absolute great place to work!
