I worked complex denials. The job description upon interviewing was nothing like my typical work day. I accepted the position based off of being told there was room for growth, flexibility, and self-motivated(no micro managing). Within the 1st week they expected me to know all of the systems. They thought the orientation trainer went over how to work the systems which was not the case. They also immediately had my productivity and QA graded when I was still not fully trained. The supervisor and manager were not on the same page and constantly disagreed on how accounts would be worked making it very challenging to learn. The supervisor never gave clear answers to work related questions and would often ramble off to another subject. They made the staff host team meetings everyday which I felt was not ok because everyone does not like to speak in large groups. Supervisor/manager work was often pushed off to staff. When upper management put pressure onto leaders they often pushed their frustration and pressure onto the staff.  They micromanaged every second of your day. I had a schedule for what accounts I would work for each hour and lunch was even scheduled. They would call 6-10 times a day starting the second you clock in and not take the time they spent on a call with you into consideration if it was under 20 minutes. Even though my productivity and QA met the standards they wanted you to know how to do everything and wouldn't show you how. Then changed my schedule without notice. I already had a second job because the pay here was not great. They told me either I work this new shift or leave the company. This company literally had me in tears everyday I got off. I gladly am no longer employed here and employed with a new company who appreciates their staff and their mental health. I would NOT suggest this company to anyone. They even stated after I was hired that they can't keep anyone and I now know why. More than half of the people I was hired with left the company before I did. This is the kind of job you go to and work. Don't question anything they do or why they doo it or you will be targeted and treated unfairly.

I worked for this company many years and they have merged and rebranded twice. There is some job security in the service lines because these are jobs that are credentialed and are hard to come by. Which is why healthcare providers get these via outsourced consultants (aka this company). 
Due to 2 mergers & rebranding, and entirely new executive leadership teams being brought in each time (with previous executives getting bonuses and lucrative separation pkgs) they are top heavy and have 2 terrible barebones medical insurance plans (both are high deductible with ALL services out-of-pocket until that deductible is met). It's a deterant to getting your health taken care of if you don't have an extra $1500 to $2500 yearly to cover that deductible. That's on top of the $200-$300 monthly premium taken out of your paycheck - single rate.
The WORST part of this company is that if you get stuck with a middle mgmt supervisor who berates or harrasses you, nothing will be done to correct that mgrs behavior. Even if they have a track record of grinding through many employees in the same fashion. If that mgr can schmooze the client, they basically can run their own little dictatorship on that account. Save your mental well-being and look elsewhere. There ARE many employers who will treat you better!!

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The company is top-heavy. They brag about the money they spend on marketing and sales while the software used to perform services for their clients is outdated and functions poorly.  When they did decide to update the software the conversion did not go well, Listing data across multiple client platforms. When the software systems frequently failed, staff were instructed not to login  to work and needed to use their earned  time off if they wanted to get paid. Eventually Savista laid off many employees after losing several contracts across the country as a result of the failed software systems losing data, not properly recording patient payments and Ann increase of patient complaints. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Remote makes the culture bearable. You feel like you’re never able to do your best work because of poor resources. Yet you’re expected to perform above and beyond.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Review workqueues for the hospitals you were responsible for, usually 3-4 hospitals across the nation.  Make records of claims you were unable to work on because of the system malfunctions.

I no longer work for Savista, this was the best job I’d ever had. Personalizing with other human beings is a huge part of who I am as a person and employment with savista allowed me to be who I was with a rewarding job in a nice environment. The job wasn’t hard at all, working directly with the hospital as a Level 1 Eligibility specialist was/is very rewarding. The type of job that makes you feel important, you’ll never ever feel the weight be removed from a room faster than having this job where helping people (should be) your passion. This job is not for you if you if you don’t have a gleaming empathetic heart, truly. You will meet all types of people in this job, compassion, care, courtesy is all a huge part of working for Savista. If you’re considering applying for Savista and you want a job that won’t break your spirit, a job that appreciates your hard work, and (potentially working with) patients who also reciprocate the same appreciation, savista is the place. I worked at Savista for 18 months during the pandemic, and was also able to get some of the first doses of the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine being in this position. 

A typical work day consisted of being expected to do more than expected being over worked and pressured by management.  I learned thst thete is favortism among staff and being treated unfairly,  Management shows favortism, lies to upper management and HR to remove staff unfairly, it has happened numerous times.  They hire family members against company policyand reward them  and ignore there errors and mistake and place the burden on other staff members.  The workplace culture has gone from bad to worse.  The hardest part of the job is the day to pressures of trying to correct mess ups from other employees while management make constant excuses and just overall dealing with management with no management skills.  The most enjoyable part of the job is working remote and taking PTO,  Many good employees have lost there positions by being setup by inexperienced management.

Savista is next level amazing! The atmosphere and community is unlike any place I’ve worked remotely before. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Figuring out the timeclock. It’s very different and there’s categories for everything but it does get better. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
AMAZING. I can’t even express how wonderful everyone is from the recruiters to the managers to the CEO. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I am NOT micromanaged. I clock in, code for my client, clock out. Sometimes there are meetings and if you have more then one client you will do a half day at each but I have never felt micromanaged and my days are very calm.

Savista offers remote positions and great benefits. You’re giving your PTO upfront for the year. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The management that Savista hires is unknowledgeable of the positions they’re hire to supervisor/manage. Savista does not believe in organization & don’t you dare question them or they will bully you.

Not much of a culture. Come to work.. do your job.. keep your mouth shut and get paid. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Chaotic.. busy and very unhealthy. You’re holding hands of others from the time you clock in to the time you clock out.

What is the best part of working at the company?
I am very happy with Savista they are a great company with very good benefits and good management. Raises have been very small though and not keeping up with inflation. That is my only complaint.

Very production oriented. Time is very essential to them so keep your nose to the grindstone.

most people work remotely but there is some on site work available. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I work remotely so my day starts at home and I work 8 hrs.


Our company's health benefits are unequivocally the worst I've encountered in my professional career. The reliance on high deductible plans (through Cigna), coupled with the absence of fertility benefits, creates a significant financial burden and neglects the well-being of employees.

It's clear that urgent action is needed to address these deficiencies.

As an employee, I'm at a crossroads. I love my job, however, unless substantial improvements are made to our health benefits, I will be forced to seek opportunities elsewhere. It's imperative that our company prioritizes the health and financial security of its employees to retain top talent and foster a supportive work environment.

Let’s start with equipment, we collect millions for the project you’re working on & the equipment they send I never even heard of. Management tells you to complain to IT constantly so you can get adequate working systems. Management is way too busy for their team. Their priority is HB not caring about PB! The pay rate is atrocious. Management are the only ones that can travel and work. This a true WFH job not a remote position. Extremely unorganized. You get questioned about long use of PTO. I wouldn’t recommend this company. I was miserable working there and quit w/o anything lined up. That’s how bad I hated it
