On a daily basis, there is a lot of work to be done. Some days if there are new projects starting, it can be hard to get everything done in a single day. So if you can't learn to prioritize, you will struggle. Organization is a very necessarily skill, especially for account managers. 

There is ample opportunity to get up and get a break from your desk and work throughout the day, and management really encourages that. There are often puzzles that can be worked on, and people sitting at the coffee bar between meetings or projects. Teams often have lunch together or plan outings. There are also optional (but highly encouraged) book clubs that you can be part of, that happen during the work day. Growth is something that the company focuses on a lot, not only for itself, but individual growth on a personal and professional basis is really important.

The hardest part of the job is the amount of work - there's a lot of growth happening, and not always enough people to get things done. So the ability to wear multiple hats and help in multiple areas is really vital to success. There is no "that's not my job" - if someone needs help, you get in and help if you are able. 

The most enjoyable part of the job is being able to be yourself, in whatever form that is. The company is very LGBT+ friendly, and has really leaned into the lack of diversity from a race standpoint, and has been working on that. There is constant challenge to be better, but if you're not feeling like yourself on a particular day, no one is going to hold that against you either. 

Promotion paths get developed as they are needed, so the next step in your career isn't always clear, and sometimes you have to make one up if the next level isn't something you are interested in. 

When Semify says they want to "grow together," they mean it in more ways than one. While career growth is important, the culture this team has created fosters growth outside of the work environment, too. If you're looking for a job that pays the bills while offering you the flexibility and support you need to grow in your personal life, I can't recommend this position enough.

Semify is by far the best place I have ever had the opportunity to work. High standards and high support are stressed so growth happens exponentially on the personal and professional side if you are adaptable & eager to learn.

Semify is a great place to work for people who are looking for an environment that treats each team member as a leader, values them as a person, and has clear and defined promotion pathways.

I think the training should be better and more consistent across the board. The culture feels one sided and do not not feel included. And I’m so sick about hearing about hitting revenue!
