Constant changes, unorganized, horrible communication. Communication was horrible with the Home care coordinator. You report/update situations to your boss (service coordinator) she then relays the message to the home care coordinator and that's the last you hear anything. Try to follow up again and the home care coordinator was clueless about what was going. Always got the responses "i don't know" "I forgot" You shouldn't have to go through so many people for one answer. Information was never relayed properly by the home care coordinator or done last minute but it was always someone else fault The service coordinator who was there was the only one who knew how to do the job correctly and effectively but no credit was ever given. Always felt like you were in the middle of everything. Its unfortunate one person's mess up makes others look bad. Director has no clue how to manage a facility has her favorites treats certain departments poorly member assistance are beneath her Rules are constantly changing and if you don't obey be ready for a write up and you'll be the next one out the door. They try to hire people with minimal hours no set schedule and expect people to be available all hours but don't call off because that's "unacceptable" Yet corporate can leave "last minute" for holidays and be unavailable and yet you can't get a break. No appreciation you put more miles on your car then you do times of care. Not worth it no advancement

The staffing coordinator role carries a workload that does not match the compensation. Expectations are often unrealistic, with constant demands to complete multiple major tasks in short timeframes while simultaneously managing constant emails on payroll, PTO, hiring, terminations, and orientations every week. The workload is consistently overwhelming, and the way duties are allocated does not make sense, leaving staffing coordinators spread too thin compared to other roles that operate at a steadier pace.

Supervisory leadership has also been an issue. Instead of taking accountability for breakdowns in communication or office processes, concerns are quickly escalated to the director. This creates tension and avoids addressing the real issues within the department.

Additionally, the office culture is heavily influenced by cliques and favoritism. If you are not part of the “in crowd,” it is very easy to be excluded or pushed aside, which only adds to an already stressful work environment.

Overall, the position demands far more than is reasonable for one role, expectations are unrealistic, and the workplace culture is divisive rather than supportive.

Communication is horrible. You never know who to talk to if you have a question or issue. Schedules are constantly being changed without notice to employees or members. God forbid you need to call off. Management is horrible. Supervisor s and schedulers are rude. They don't stay within your work availability.  Pay is always off. They don't care about your safety or well-being. Take their time tending to needs of the members. No stability what so ever. Scheduling and visits are done by Johnstown and peoe who do not know our area. More chore visits than actual member care. Contact info is always changing without notice as well as who you are to report to. No consistency.  Turn over rate is awful. They cannot keep good employees. Always short staffed. Not enough time spent with new employees to train them correctly, you're pretty much just thrown into your job . 

Poorly trained. Management tries to train you when they themselves dont know how to do the position. They try to manage when they are hours away, no clue about the home care, and location. They make you go into homes with bed bugs and if you refuse you get written up. They hold write-ups that should be "expired"after a period of time against you they are "fire happy." They make last minute changes and act like it's been an ongoing change and they are quick to write you up for their mistakes. They make you cover other locations and expect the rest of your job to be done. They have another location "in charge" Telling you what to do because they don't want to. They say you can contact them by phone/email yet they barely respond and when they do its the program director more than your boss. Not worth the headache or stress

They will send you into a residents homes infested with all manner of bugs and expect you to stay there while you’re fighting to keep them off of your body. You can never get a hold of anyone before their business hours start even if you need help at a residence. If you even think about asking for your hours to be cut it will never happen! They could care less what your reason is. They started me at 5:30 AM at a residence that took me 40 minutes to get to, and my last appointment was at 9:30 at night with another 40 minute drive home. These hours were five days a week, often on my days off they would try to get me to come in. Anytime you have a problem with them they’re very smart with you over the phone. You’re only a money maker for them and nothing else. If I could give you any advice I would tell you to run, run away from this company as fast as you can

I got out quick in the short time i was there.  Really unorganized. You're told one thing during your interview (guess it was to make everything sound good) but once you're in forget it. Constant changes with your schedule you're not asked to do things by your boss your told to do it. Your boss is more worried about gossiping irrelevant information and dictating to you then doing her own work. To much drama! The home care coordinator for senior life is always the middle person with very little communication amongst seniors at home. Seperation at its finest. The director for senior life could care less about seniors at home yet they are affiliated with each other. You will NEVER get appreciation from either side. It's not worth the time and the extra miles you put on your car. Its decent pay but the members have to suffer because of poor management

Worked extremely hard for over a year working at several points to exhaustion. Was bullied and harrassed for trying to do my position. Placement of my work space was horrific and work was not easily achieved. Supervisors changed rules daily on what u were to do and not to do with procedures. But always made it a point to make it ur fault. Talked to rudly by supervisors but they required you to take constant monthly tests on how to treat others. Ha that's a joke. I watched this facility loose almost every single staff member since iv been there in every department. Hostile work environment. And they should see the trend but dont care.

Absolutely adored the members but the management/scheduling are not organized to run any type of business. These members need this to feel like they are being taken care of. Scheduling does not give you enough allotted time to travel between members.  They love to tell you everything you do wrong but never like to praise you on anything you are doing to make all the members happy/satisfied. They hire Home Health ALL the time because they only want you as a casual and won't exceed 29.5 hours/week so they don't have to give you benefits.

Nepotism is beyond believe. Complete idiots managing this company at Johnstown. They don’t care about the safety of their staff during home care visits. Always complain about what you’re doing wrong but never will compliment what you’re doing right. Have people who don’t even know how to do their job properly and are new to the company training other people who are new hires. Paychecks are always coming up short or being skipped out on all together. No job security, no room for advancement, no encouragement furthering education. I’d say anywhere else is better than this cult.

You are told one thing and next week its something different poor communication it's always your fault never management unprofessional if you take one day off it's a problem to many cliques people talk about you never give you credit where deserved unappreciative constant changes to schedules and add-ons to your job responsibilities and don't dare to question anything people feel self entitled they let their job titles get to them and think they are the boss and if you retaliate they are quick to write you up never give positive feedback
