Worst place you can work at. Managers are extremely unprofessional and are only there because they have nowhere else to go and it’s obvious. They offer no forgiveness and YOU CAN NOT MISS A SINGLE DAY or even a second out of your work schedule because they are punishing you down and dragging you to that chair and phone. This is a every man for himself job, and some commission is based off of luck, you can’t force someone to pay something they’re not ready to pay let’s be honest, but you can be nice long enough and offer enough information for them to acknowledge and consider the debt. These people are too harsh with the QA it will never be perfect enough for them and you will never be good enough for anyone. Managers only care about making their commission and some of these managers get to the point where they are YELLING at you. When I say they will literally make ANYONE a manager and a lead staff… Anyone qualifies. They’re just now ramping up application systems. Stressful environment as well don’t work here if you think this check will make your life easier the work and home life balance is non existent. You will be stressed to the point your hair is falling out!! This is not a safe haven for parents or people with stressful upbringings or traumas. Guess what? They don’t care about your personal life at all, you could be the best collector and they still won’t consider your personal background or life or current bumps in your roads. lack of unity. 

I have been working with the company for a while and I can tell you if you’re looking to advance in a company this isn’t the place for you. They advertise advancements but it rarely happens. The turnover rate is ridiculous due to the point system and upper management not caring if you have a medical emergency or if life happens. The company makes so much money and pays you scraps. In training they advertise the bonuses but fail to tell you they’ll do anything to make sure you don’t receive that bonus. QA is ridiculous in the way they handle calls and score you. They will fail you for something a customer does out of your control. Compliance wants you to be harassed and disrespected by customers just so sequium doesn’t have to deal with the backlash. Upper management changes every 6 months so new rules are always going out, they don’t take the time to speak or introduce themselves to you but they nitpick at everything you do and it’s never anything positive only negativity. Management isn’t consistent, if you like micromanaging this is the place for you. HR is great they will do everything in their power to make sure you feel comfortable and feel as though your voice is heard. 

Stay away! I repeat stay away from this company!! By far 1 of the worst jobs I have ever worked for. Training horrible, management terrible, pay smh don't make me laugh. Especially for the amount of stress you will endure. I don't care how desperate you are in need of a job do not waste your time with these people. Training was absolutely a joke. Inconsistent and all over the place and due to their high turnover rate you are rushed on the phones after 1 week. If you are late "2" times in training they minimum wage you down to $7.50! You cannot have your phones on the floor at all, this is grounds for automatic termination. Anybody who is still working at this company had to be uneducated with no values sorry to say. Management and HR are out for themselves and only care about their bottom dollar. They will sell you dreams and act like they care, however if you have any sense you will see right through their act. I wouldn't wish this job on my worst enemy. I cannot make this up. I don't care how determined you think you are... you will not succeed at this job, especially with their authentication process let alone feeling inhumane asking people to pay a collections bill during a pandemic! Honestly how low can you get! Please Ignore all the other senseless reviews on this being a "good company" has to be coming from the idiotic people who probably still work there God bless them! STAY AWAY TRUST ME!!

Sequium Assets Solutions is by far the WORST job I have ever had. Where do I even begin. Let's start with the point system. You receive points if you have a scheduled doctor's appointment and obtain documentation, you receive 2 points if you request off with reason as to why, and you receive points if your unit manager feels like you are giving too much feedback. The biggest thing about this company that needs to be changed is the management. Management is allowed to talk to agents any kind of way and when you respond, you get get in trouble and are not able to defend yourself which is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. There is a reason why we all get jobs and we are all adults, but when it is ok for management to disrespect agents and then run to HR after a response is  given and get people fired that is a BIG PROBLEM. I wouldn't recommend this job to anybody. All of the trainers besides one that I met have nasty attitudes and act like they know everything when they don't and feel like they can say whatever as well. Another thing is that with covid going on, only certain teams were notified about upper management testing positive for the virus and mind you we are all in the same building. People were allowed to still continue working with high temperatures and all. Now if somebody was to die then what? I wouldn't do it if I was you find something else. LESSON LEARNED!!

What is the best part of working at the company?
it seems every opportunity the company has to cut corners and take money out of your paycheck, that opportunity is taken, stressful work environment with unrealistic budgets with whole teams consistently failing to meet the requirements therefore not receiving a bonus. In the unlikely scenario that someone hits budget, its not much over and the bonus is next to nothing for the effort required to pull the feat off. Job is threatened if you underperform and the company does not even take card payments over the phone. not a fun experience and definitely doesn't seem as if the company will be in business long term

hitting unrealistic budget requirements.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
work from home is nice if available, can't speak for the office experience.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
strive to get payments for your client, if you are unfortunate enough to be working Comcast Xfinity accounts, you're gonna have a really hard time keeping morale up as their fee is very low and almost impossible to hit the required numbers. Don't expect a big bonus with their bonus structure either.

Decent paying jobs and hours are good. Easy advancement for those who perform well and put in 6 months but I wouldnt do collections for that long. Its collections jobs so constantly pressure you to make a collection to the point you question their morality given certain situations. Oh you had a stroke and are in the ER, they wouldn't care just pay your bill. To be fair im not a people person so anything sales-related sounds like a nightmare to me.  Part I hate most is u have to reach goals or lose out on a bonus. VP of HR is clearly disrespectful to employees but others try convince u its a joke.

I worked for this company for 5 months, most stressful 5 months of my life .. they talk down on you like you’re a child instead of an adult, if you try to stand up for yourself .. you’re causing a disruption on the floor. It’s okay for them to disrespect you but as soon as u say anything . You’re too rowdy. The pay wasn’t great . They would try to finesse you to where your not really getting 40 hrs a week. Management sucks. They scream at u like you’re a child . You have the big bosses talking down on the employees. They are very mean and rude. Everyone is sleeping with everyone in that office . And not to mention the bonus was terrrible .

Sequium Asset Solutions is a great company. Them members of management are all friendly and helpful. The training was efficient and interactive. The company has good policies and procedures but you have to make sure your calls are perfect because the quality department will find any and every error and it will result in a failed scorecard which then in turn means you get part or all of your bonus taken away depending on the mistake. I like that bonus is also based on attendance and kpi's as well but the quotas are high and the percentage we get is very low. The schedule isn't the greatest because we have to work until 6 or 7 almost every night. 

This is Not a company you want to work for. It runs short of being a sweat shop. They do not respect their employees, the employees are threatened on a daily basis. They cheat you out of your bonuses and the hourly pay is just below the poverty line. The managers yell, scream or cuss at the employees. The work environment is disgraceful, every inch is filthy. You have to sit on broken chairs, the restrooms are horrendous,  the managers have zero skill or education to be in management. Run as fast as you can if someone calls you for an interview. THIS IS AN AWFUL, AWFUL, PLACE TO WORK!!!!!!!

This is a GREAT STARTER job into collections or call center. A lot of micromanaging; you don’t technically feel appreciated. Your calls are graded and played out loud in front of your peers. The manager DOES NOT believe in the work that they expect for you to do and expect for you to strive the highest. Ugly, maze like office. Third party collections are very rude to the debtors. Bonuses are extremely low to be in collections. Their QA is in JAMAICA lol, that right there is weird because that’s a different culture than America. Working there you definitely feel like a number, a collector and not an EMPLOYEE. This job was a joke.
