I was hired to a weekend only shift. The communication between managers/supervisors and the employees under them are barely exsistent. I lasted less than 1 year there after I went per diem. I went from being asked to work every other day to not one person reaching out. After about a month or so I reached out to see what was going on since I had no been asked to cover any shifts in a while. I was told that the managers all left, the people who took over had no clue who was employeed there anymore and who wasn't. I was told that I had quit the job, when I did not quit at all. I then called HR and was told that my profile was still open there but not at the facility i normally worked at and that it had changed me from one site to another site and that they were looking into this and would get back to me.. needless to say I never heard a single thing back from that after them. Again I was there for  less than a year and had 5 different people "in charge" in that less than 12 month period. The training provided was not what it should have been and I could definitely have learned more before being put by myself on a weekend with Not another soul to reach out to for help. It was a mess.

When leaders don’t do their due diligence in getting the facts right, they run the risk of violating the most fundamental ethical principle of all: Do No Harm. People who care about leading with integrity will thank you not punish you.Quit hiring smart people with good experience if you just want them to be a robot.Defend your staff from ridiculous expectations from the uppers with last minute requirements forcing them to work insane hours over the Holiday's resulting in them to become sick and so stressed they have be on medication.Listen to your staff's recommendations- they are the ONES DOING THE JOB.Stop changing the organization and moving people around like that will help the issue. The issue is leadership. Same people making the same decisions resulting in the same outcome.Put a pulse on your staff. Give them some relief. Refine your processes, put a clear path for staff.

I was promised a change in shift when someone else was hired and that never happened. You are expected to work long hours by yourself at odd times at night. Reviews are not fair because the only opinion that matters is the manager opinion on you... not the customers, or the peer's. You only benefiot of the good team of people there if you happen to work a normal shift. If you are offered a second or third shift in this company don't take it. You will completely on your own warking very late and many hours. you will be sleeping during the day and tires most of the time.  Manager really don't care about this. He will lie to keep you on this Shift for as long as he can. You are expected to be at company meeting at 10:00AM even though you have worked until 4:00AM the previous night fixing an MRI.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The people I work with are amazing. I won't lie and say there aren't any tedious emails or long meetings, there are, but the people I'm surrounded with make it all enjoyable.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
There are often tight deadlines and overlapping priorities, and things move at a very fast pace. It takes very strong organizational skills to handle it all.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Fun! Everyone here gets along really well, and people take time to connect and bond.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I come in, pull out my to do list, check my emails, and start at the top. I check things off as I can, and accept new to-do's as they come up. My role is a lot of emailing, scheduling, board decks, and meetings, so tasks usually revolve around those things.

Spend half your day fixing scheduling dept’s mistakes or getting yelled at over the phone or in person for them. Spend the other half trying to pull patients in earlier for their appts because the process used to book them is backwards: patients are booked and THEN registered to see if they’re safe to be put in the machines instead of making sure they’re safe FIRST.

No wiggle room in the schedule because they want every minute of it filled, which means you’re almost always behind schedule, all so they can make their numbers for the day.

Management didn’t stand up for the reps getting verbally abused by the patients - you were just supposed to sit there and take it, day in and day out.

The good people got burnt out and left, so there was constant turnover and you were always expected to help train someone new, but were never compensated for the extra effort and workload.

Thought it was a family business that stood on values, From my perceptive Shields &  management is profit driven that's why it doesn't matter when management has no experience in the modality to them. But if their managers did have the modality experience, they would be able to see the many problems that exist and what people get away with. Management plays favorites, and bends rules. Will quote "sweep it under the rug" if a favorite does very wrong.
If you value work life balance, patient care, safety and inclusion, beware. They will burn you out for little pay. They are not diverse as they claim and very unsupportive.

This company prides itself as being a family business, yet has zero loyalty. You will be expected to see an excessive amount of patients with very little support, get completely burnt out only to make management/corporate big money, with zero appreciation and no bonus structure for those on the front lines.  Medical providers see an excessive amount of patients and are expected to do many other clerical tasks due to always being short staffed. The Corporate office will value the one crazy patient complaint more than the thousands of excellent ones and local management will not have your back.  Additionally, everyone is unhappy and the office environment is filled with drama,  terrible morale and huge turnover.  Run!!!!!

my work day was routine and have worked with many new computer systems which was the most interesting part of my position. The management did not or have any interest to find more hours it was the help of co-workers who asked for me to fill in when it was needed to cover a position at another location.
The most difficult part of the job was the disapointment of not having a full work week, but the friendships I made with my co-workers make the work enjoyable.
I would like a full tme position with secure hours and a stable work environment

Down load deposits from the bank website. Post payments from insurance companies and patients,
Review denials and appeal to insurance companies to obtain payment for services provided. Refund patients and insurance companies for any over payments.
Direct supervisor is very good at keeping me updated with any changes to billing policies.
The hardest part of this job is sitting on hold for over a half hour to speak to an insurance company to resolve an account.
The most enjoyable part of the job is seeing all my hard work finally bring in payments.

This was the worst work environment I’ve ever worked in hands down. The problem is leadership, and until leadership is changed, staff will continue to leave. Leadership doesn’t communicate with or respect staff, is condescending to staff when questioned are asked,  is unprofessional, never accepts accountability for their negative behavior, and  likes to pit staff against each other. Additionally, leadership talks negatively about staff to other staff, naming staff members “they want to get rid of”.
