I had just gotten a promotion to leasing coordinator after being there for a few months I was a blank slate when it came to leasing and I was doing on the job training learning as I go, I was given a task to complete with over 1000 tenants information on a excel spreadsheet to search through and update the information and was expected to finish in 2 days. I was also given other tasks as well to complete on top of this. After 2 weeks i was given a verbal warning that I needed to move faster that morning and I was terminated that evening. Instead of working to improve your performance after a minor mistake they would rather fire you. They say theres opportunities for advancement, but that's a lie. If you want to work for a great employer, believe me when i say, DO NOT WORK HERE, everyone either quits or gets fired eventually. Perpetually understaffed, terrible management, terrible leader ship, and when you get a promotion, you don't even get a raise.

I have had my fair share of working in stressful positions, but shinda management takes the #1 spot. Shinda management is a hostile/ stressful place to work, you get bashed for doing your job. The culture is extremely toxic, the site managers and area supervisors so whatever they want, with no form of accountability. The staff is overworked and underpaid. You are thrown into your position and its either you sink or swim.The company as a whole lacks professionalism, integrity and company values. Their is no structure enforced within the company. The executives do not separate personal from professional, it is all about who are friends with who. The biggest take away I got from this company is never settle and demand professional respect.

This company teach you a what they want you to know about property management. A typical day you begin at 9 am and you are in the field most of the day, inspecting the property your are in charge of and accommodating the tenants needs. contracting out job, getting three bids for special projects etc. As well as supervising your superintendent, handyman and porter. Appearing in court on company behave,doing move-out and move-in . Preparing vacant unit in a timely manner. Ensure all violation are cure immediately.
Co-worker are OK,however there are some you stay away from.

Working at Shinda Management employees feel like their are working for his home. Anything what you do, you will apply it in your home assigment. For instance, in a normal work i have to Inspect the building to make sure everything is safety and secure, you have to do it in your home too. Coordinate with your maintenance and Office staff is a daily job, you have to do in your home with your family to do different assigments.
That's what Shinda Management is like to be at home.

This environment is cancerous! Senior management is horrible and to mention they are very unprofessional there. I would not EVER recommend an intern to work there as I do not wan them to think this is what corporate America is. The best thing to come of of Shinda is the day that you leave! The staff is petty, unprofessional and they talk to their staff as if they are incapable to getting the job done. If this should ever reach some one in government aka EEOC open an investigation on this company as you will see they are breaking several laws.

Since my employment here at Shinda, I have learned a myriad of things regarding the administration side of Property Management. I can honestly say I have grown as a professional over the past few months courtesy of Shinda and my direct supervisor. Although my supervisor may occasionally fly off the handle, they know how to run a business. The work environment is safe, friendly and business is the top priority.

To sum up Shinda's Executive employees, they are PETTY. they make promises and don't uphold their end of the bargain. the workload for the compensation is RIDICULOUS. They dont like giving raises and you can do good all year and still not get a bonus. there are no work perks or incentive besides your paycheck. They dont have much employee activities like most companies besides the annual Christmas party. Overall my experience has been mixed but I would not recommend working here to anyone.

I'm at one of shinda's buildings, and it's a nightmare. The building is really beautiful inside and out, however they have tenants from Camba living there.

1. They are drug addicts & alcoholics.
 2. There children is destroying everything they touch, & tenants.
  3.  The security is a big joke. They see and don't see. Fix your camera's !!!

I wanted to like Shinda. Family and Black owned and operated.. Yes! 

Sigh.. no. The folks at Shinda are very cliquey. If you don't fit in their mold, they make your life harder. The Compliance Director would pass her work on to me as the compliance manager, even after I told her multiple times that I was not hired to supervise anyone and that I wasn't hired to do her job. 

If you're thinking about it... don't do it.
