A typical day at work would entail head hunting on both indeed and ZipRecruiter. Reaching out to potential candidates via phone or email about the job opportunity. Following up to get new hires to the webinar training course. The work culture is very laissez-faire in the sense of a major lack of micromanaging. The company essentially runs on an honor system. If you hire quality individuals, then you never have to expect anything less then such. 
The hardest part of the gig, in my opinion, is getting the prospect to send back documents. At the end of the day, a deal is not a deal until there is paperwork.

I love my job here, it's absolutely terrific and great. The people are fantastic and always willing to share their knowledge to help and allow you to improve. Very diverse, only thing that matters is how well you do your job. High energy work place with dedicated people, who only want to be the best and like to enjoy themselves, when things go well. Very inclusive culture yet you still need to take the time to figure things out for yourself and grow. There is no one way, there is only your way, so you have to figure out what works best for you. No drama, just a good environment, where old and new people get along great and work hard.

I have worked for Slice for about 4 years and I cant not imagine working for another company. I do not like working for a company with out any growth potential. In the 4 years I have worked at Slice I have had several promotions and raises. I have worked in many different departments which has given me the opportunity to view our industry from different views. I have always felt that management has always had my best interest in mind and have never gotten the support and recognition I get here from Slice. So if you are some one who puts 110% in what they do and has a positive and can do attitude then Slice is a place with unlimited potential.

I have worked at Slice for over 5 years. This has been the most welcoming company I have ever worked at. Management is fair, I know I can always approach my manager and discuss any issue I have and it will be taken seriously. We have many team building events that have helped us grow closer. The teams themselves are very friendly and collaborative, with senior agents eager to help out newbies. We are expected to be on point with our work but it is not overwhelming and there is a lot of support available at all times. Overall, this is a wonderful company and I hope to be here many more years.

Ive worked for SLICE for nearly a year now; during that period of time, I have learned an entirely new industry! They made it easier to Segway into the company with in-depth one-on-one training and resources center. I was a professional car salesman prior and had no merchant service experience. Now, 9 months later - I am accomplishing my career goals, managing business owners accounts all over the country and having a blast doing it.  The only regret I have is not looking into merchant services sooner!

If you have been in outside sales for a while and/or have B2b experience then there’s a good chance you’ll succeed at this job and receive great compensation. If not then there will be a steep learning curve as there is very little sales training I’ve seen. It’s key that you go into the community and network with local small business owners. The product is very beneficial for most small business owners so if you can get in front of them and earn their trust and ask for the close you’ll do great. 

I think going out and getting appointments set up is a fun thing to do. Meeting with business owners, and helping the companies makes it enjoyable. The managers are very kind and encouraging, mine in particular is very transparent about how the job works and the pros and cons about it. I will update in a month if I see anything wrong with it, but I doubt it will happen.

Working at Slice has brought me lots of success on the job and also in my personal goals. I have learned credit card processing laws and regulations that I did not know about before working here. I am always learning something new and also teaching new employees what I learned in the past. The management is a huge part of a workplace and here at Slice every person is looking out for everyone's success. We're a family here and even when the job gets hard we always have the support to bypass any obstacle.

I have been with the company since mid May 2019. At first it was a bit of a big step moving into outside sales from working retail, but after a couple of weeks I started to really get the hang of things. I'm really thankful of my manager, he has helped me learn a lot about the industry and how to sell in general, and I can honestly say if it weren't for the encouragement I receive from my manager and the company, this job would have been tough, but thankfully it's now paid off. I can't wait to see what 2020 has in store for my life with Slice.

Been onboard for a few months, if you’re ethical you’ll get a few sales a month. The issue is once you figure out how much they actually charge the customers on a 4 year span of a contract it’s tough to get them to sign. If you do, you won’t see commissions for weeks. Takes a while for their pay structure to kick in. If you’re on the sleazy side you can kill it though however that’s just not me. Im very transparent with how it all works i typically get about 1/3 to the signing point then they read the contract and say no way…
