What is the best part of working at the company?
The possibility of working remotely when needed .

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Upper management is disrespectful to the legal assistants. We are treated like we where beneath them. No bonus pay , pay for an experienced legal assistant is below what the average is in this city. Monday morning zoom meetings where more of a bashing  of your work and telling you nothing is ever good enough. Office lacks team culture, or the possibility of growth. Concerns about issues concerning the office never get solutions  or at the very least acknowledged. Practically have to beg corporate to send us basic office supplies to get our everyday duties done .

In the past year, working for Slocumb Law Firm has been both beneficial and non beneficial.  The work environment is completely poor.  They hold their standards very low, and they had/have many issues throughout the company.  Employees were not paid overtime, the company doesn't represent nor show their support by posters or law abiding rules, and most importantly they were not concerned with their clients.  Workplaces such as Slocumb Firm, should be shut due to lack of criteria, licenses, and lack of being a "formal" law firm.

With any job there are pros and cons. not every job is perfect. However for me it not about the environment. I love my job here for one reason and one reason alone. the one person I work closely with is amazing. If he leaves I will leave too. I got lucky.  What I have learnt is in a law office, you have attorneys with different types of personalities. some some believe you are beneath them because you do not have a degree in law. They feel like you are beneath them. Then there are the attorneys who knows assistants and the attorney are a team and working together is both beneficial to the attorney and assistant.

Having to deal with Mike him self

The work environment is toxic 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Very stressful and overwhelming

Working with the Slocumb Law Firm, I have learned how to manage my time better and I have enhanced my organizational skills. There is nothing about this job that is hard. When I first came in, I fit into the busy environment with no problems. The most enjoyable art of my job is making clients happy because they have been awarded with Social Security Benefits.

Bad environment...don't care about workers ....lowdown attorneys with money. Boring Job overall don't waste time there!!!!if COVID hits you or your family get ready to be fired ....your car can be towed while at work the parking is awful 

In my position, I get to meet with various people from all walks of life. Each day there is a chance for me to travel between 20 and 200 miles. I get to see different various characteristics of different cities. Finally, I get to help clients receive proper treatments and resources.

I enjoyed working here, but was ready for more. They were really flexible with your vacation and sick time and very understanding. I learned a lot here regarding my position as a legal assistant and was able to put it towards my current job.

The work is very easy ,but sometimes very unprofessional. This is a great job for someone who does not have kids. The pay is very low for this type of field. I wouldn't mind the pay being low if there were some type of benefits like heath care ,bonuses etc.

Management is, terrible, if not legitimately abusive. This was an incredibly toxic work environment. We literally had to enter and exit the office through fire escapes for a period of time to avoid process servers looking for the CEO/Owner.
