What is the best part of working at the company?
I enjoyed most of the colleagues I got to work alongside and I do enjoy slime so being able to work and play was nice.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Constantly understaffed. This is for a couple of reasons the first being the company clearly wants to cut any and all corners they can to save money so they can funnel it into making another location that is bound to fail. Another reason is the GSA staff were not treated well, constantly being asked to do more and more without any sort of compensation or “reward”. When you aren’t treated well you are more likely to call out of your shift do to small issues that otherwise could have been handled differently in a better environment. It was also incredibly stressful to work the floor that was not well maintained and have to face angry guests. The way this company handles managerial turnover/changing of hands is horrible. They are basically thrown in with little to no training and now heavily rely on GSA members.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment is stressful and constantly putting out fires. The culture is not that of inclusivity, compassion and kindness.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Days you are short staff you are expected to work 3/4 stations by yourself. Dealing with a least 150/200 guest(on a slow day) in a single shift.

What is the best part of working at the company?
If you just got out of college, I guess the pay is decent and I that’s why people accept the job quickly. We get benefits and health insurance too, though they’re terrible and expensive. But a newly graduate would just accept anything to get employed. It isn’t too bad though and you could always leave and look for something better once you got the work experience.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Instructions given to you were never clear yet you’re expected to do the exact things they had in their minds and yell at you if you don’t! The one and only thing that’s clear though is how much management doesn’t care about its people! The employee turnover is very high yet they show no concern, but show how they can easily replace people! And to be honest, I think it’s management that needs actual replacing! They can’t manage people, has no leadership skills, and is basically incompetent! What they do best is give orders and fire people which isn’t what a leader is supposed to be! They can’t even express what they have in mind and blame others if they couldn’t understand them! It really is ridiculous working with the people, not to mention really stressful and will cause you anxiety! If you can avoid working here please do. It will be the biggest regret of your life if you don’t!

I've only worked here for a short while, but so far I love it. The management is very kind and understanding, but still play their role as a manager. Most of the co-workers are very kind (there's always a few mean ones wherever you go). It's a really supportive environment which I really love. My only issue is the lack of organization. It is not a huge deal, but me being a very picky person I do get bothered by some things. I just feel there's more efficient ways to run things. However, I believe any issues I have will improve over time as they are still a growing company. If you lack patience or do not like children, do not work here. This job requires a lot of patience and you are surrounded by children. Most customers are very kind and fun to interact with. Of course there are the rude ones or the ones who refuse to listen, but overall I enjoy interacting with them and making sure they have the best experience possible. The hardest part is how hectic it can get. It can be very crowded, loud, and messy. The best part is you get paid to play with slime, and you get free slime. 

The Co-CEO's are a nightmare. They are the sole cause for poor company culture and high turnover. Unclear, poorly communicated expectations, catty gossip within earshot of everyone, and argumentative to people just trying to line THEIR pockets with more cash.

Customers are entitled, nasty, and rude. Typically resulting from poor company policies and mishandlings.

They take advantage of hard-working employees who don't know better. Empty promises and carrot dangling, they'll say how they really want to give you a better pay raise NEXT year, give you a bonus for accomplishing a complex task, none of it ever comes to fruition.

They're expanding at a rate that's only going to hurt their culture further in the long run. No consideration for the multiplying workloads for their staff, no accompanying pay raises for new locations and added responsibility.

Turnover was constant, but the rate of new hires was slow. Almost like they were considering if they really needed to hire that position again, while letting the team drown in work.

Because of the high-stress environment with loony, hyperinvolved CEO's, employees can lash out at one another from time to time.

Leadership from executives to team leads lacks clear direction and accountability. The company continues to expand despite long-standing operational failures that have existed since day one, with no meaningful effort to address them.

Frontline employees are routinely placed in unsafe and unsustainable situations: managing 80 guests every 30 minutes, primarily young children, while simultaneously expected to educate, present scripted content, crowd-control groups of 20-30+, and do so alone for hours at a time. Breaks are inconsistent, and job security is nonexistent, even at the general manager level.

It is deeply disappointing to see a creative, family-focused concept undermined by poor planning and leadership with no apparent experience in large-scale events, child engagement, or accommodating neurodivergent guests. The company aspires to be a “Slime Disneyland” without providing the staffing, systems, or support required to operate responsibly, leaving employees to absorb the consequences.


The company doesn't believe in having a high work morale, or positive culture AT ALL.  They only care about the bottom line, and the senior managers in the New York office. The management team is completely out of touch with operations at their locations. They treat lower level managers and entry level staff as if they're irrelevant and don't matter. Very poor communications amongst senior management, and very high turnover does not equate success. 
Company was great until they started replacing all of their old senior managers such as Director of Operations, COO, director of training. The new VP will surely run that place into the ground if ownership doesn't step in, but it seems like they value yes men above all else. 
Whenever you have extremely high turnover in your management roles, thats a major red flag. 

This place was fun to work when dealing with the children and families that came through. The downside of this job was lack of thorough communication from management about rules of the workplace. Management overworked most of the employee staff from scheduling to not providing adequate scheduled breaks for employees to recover. The creators preach mental health but these practices aren’t being followed in workplace. As well management talked down to us and when questioning or working to descalate the situation would threaten write ups. Was also lied on and fired for no reason.This business as well does not follow lawful business practices when it comes to scheduling and providing breaks to employees.Pay was good but not worth it due to Poor management and leadership.

Co-workers were all so mentally troubled and just sad. Scary for families and tourist to be around. More interested in pushing political and gender ideology than entertaining tourist. Which will turn away more than 50% of the target audience. Human Resource which isn't even present at the space and or building at that particular time, to a have a quick conversation, which makes no little or no sense. Co-workers that act like sad little middle school kids with nothing to better to do than rat out and tattle, on co-workers.  This job may coddle a bunch or mentally challenged individuals that could never and would never get another as well-paying job. But the real world isn't a LIBERAL ARTS COLLEGE. 

Working here was ridiculous from start to finish. At first, I thought I’d be fine because I was getting close to 40 hours a week, but within weeks, they cut me down to barely 18, no warning, no explanation. The pay is nowhere near a livable wage, so those hours made it even worse. Management has zero interest in proper communication, and the insane amount of favoritism means certain people get cushy schedules while the rest of us scrape by. On top of that, they hire way too many people, so shifts are split so thin it’s laughable. You’re constantly thrown in front of angry customers, and instead of support, you just get mentally drained. The turnover here is insane, and honestly, I can see why, it’s like slow-motion abuse dressed up as a job opportunity.

You can pick up experience in handling high-pressure situations.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Corporate has no clue about what happens day to day, which causes constant problems. Staffing is always short, and training only covers gaps from people quitting, which is exhausting.
HR micromanages schedules and makes simple things harder than they need to be. Managers and leaders don't pay attention to the people actually doing the work, so morale is very low.
Employees are always looking for other jobs because nothing improves.
Problems keep repeating with no real solutions. Overall, it's a stressful place with poor management, and I would avoid it.
