Working at this organization has been an extremely negative experience. The management is terrible, and favoritism runs rampant—employees who are in favor are treated well, while those who speak up or disagree are retaliated against. There is a culture of fear, where it’s not safe to voice concerns or speak out against the way things are handled. Leadership shows no concern for employees, and frontline staff are treated as if they are expendable.

The focus is entirely on organs, and there is little regard for either the families we serve or the employees who are trying to do their best. It’s clear that the company’s priorities are skewed—employees are simply a means to an end, and if you’re not in the "in crowd," you’ll be ignored and left to fend for yourself.

This job will leave you feeling alone, abandoned, and scared, with no real support from leadership or management. If you value your mental well-being, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.



What is the best part of working at the company?
Passionate about making a difference in saving lives of those individuals waiting on a life saving organ to save their life.  You make a difference in educating RNs of when to call STA to allow a timely evaluation of that patient. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Having team members who do not operate as a team player yet we work together to accomplish the end result of saving a life and partnering with a hospital

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Started a Diversity team to work on inclusion and fair opportunities for all races and demographics.  

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Rounding in various hospital departments developing relationships and working with medical teams on a potential organ donor.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The Outstanding Fellow Employees!  From the C.E.O. and everyone in between,  you have a feeling of being a part of a family.  Everyone is always eager to help or lend a hand no matter if it’s their duty or not.  Plus outstanding benefits!

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
In my position it was the call. But the Company does everything they can to make it as least stressful as possible for you!

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very Professional but Personal.  You’re not just an employee.  Your part of a family!

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
The best part of the job which is each day is never the same.  If you enjoy new and exciting experiences this is the Company for you!!!

The best way to be successful within this organization is to be passionate about the mission. Workload fluctuates. There are slow days and days that feel like they will not end. Yet everyday come with a sense of accomplishment. 
It's incredibly meaningful work with some opportunity for growth. 
There are a few upper management folks that do not understand what front-line employees go through or the stress that comes with working 24-hour shifts that don't always end after 24 hours. 

In DSC, it was every person for themselves when it came to mgmt. They will tell you we're here to support you, but then feed you to the wolves and bark at you when you make a mistake. Health issues? A*** was the first to compose her email to HR and fume. It was typical to work a shift and hear whispering in the back  amongst mgmt. I ended up changing my donation status after overhearing how families who declined donation were being hounded. I wouldn't want to put my family through that mental stress. This organization has a good mission, but watch your back.

It is a great mission and purpose. Initially it's exciting and teamwork seems to be good.....Once you have been there awhile the job itself is rewarding but the managers and leadership are terrible...It is a very 'DEI' organization. They have great people but they don't stay long..... Turnover is crazy!!! They add on to your job description to drain everything they can out of you......Good experience in healthcare but no place for job security

Great company, great mission, good benefits.  But absolutely no work life balance. Terrible schedule requirements. Even on off days you’ll be working! With the combination of 24 hour shifts, that end up lasting more like 36 hours, and being required to work both days and nights, it’s impossible to maintain life outside of work. Working here requires some sacrifices, but if you can make it work it’s an amazing place. 

For such a meaningful mission, it is terrible how HR & Leadership treat each other and their teams.  It's like high school all over again.  Watchout if you try to make any type of meaningful change to improve things for the team or dare to question any policy or procedure. Turnover is out of control. So many good people there trying to do the right thing, but the HR & Leadership High School Click will retaliate against anyone who dares to question them.

Every day is high pressure. Leadership (some) are unreasonable, money hungry and power hungry. Your value is just your output.

Toxic, stressful, if you're not part of the clique they'll push you out
