Looking back, I hated this job. I had some really great kids but also some really awful kids. I would never do it again. You're guaranteed a maximum amount of hours but not a minimum. If your kid doesn't show up, too bad. If he leaves early, you're docked. Either way, you're rarely notified ahead of time. I understand that Staffmore had little control over the schedules - fair enough. Here's what they did have control over and for what is expected of you, for which you will not get paid - 1.) transportation time 2.) you're expected to complete an evaluation of every day, online, within a certain time frame, ON YOUR OWN TIME. Or you don't get paid. Simple as that. And not a checklist type thing. No, there's a minimum number of lines per goal that your BC came up with. 3.) Hand deliver your paperwork to the office every week (mailing it - good luck, it more than likely won't get there in time and you won't get paid till the following week.) 4.) Training? That was a joke. Online powerpoint, that they created, made mandatory, and CHARGED YOU FOR. Not cheap either. You already make lousy money (before taxes, which they don't take out) and then they want to take what little money you do make, and yeah that's going right into their pockets. This place was awful. I guess the people that work in the office were fine enough. Nevermind the fact that I worked there for almost 3 years and they never remembered my name. Oh well. Glad to be gone and out of this place.

The client I am working with is autistic with learning disability ..I am having him for 3 years now what a big difference when i first got this case it was tough and like a nightmare to me when i am ready to go to his school he used to run away in the whole school ,too much crying ,violent ,hit every one ,,and off task most of the day no response to directions ,,,gradually and little by little make a friendship wit him ignored some behavior and find out what it seems to be interesting to him with teacher and my supervisor assistance i be able to make a big jump and having him able to stay seated ,more focus on work ,try to make him build a good relation with his peers .

I enjoyed my time in the company.  However, the constant changes that are made without overall solutions is causing chaos. No structure in its changes with very little to no follow up.  It is essential to know the culture and provide the necessary tools to enhance everyone's position.  I would like to rate it higher but the cons over power the pros.

OK company but no room for advancement. Must have degree or masters to work here and must have masters to move up in advancement With experience. No benefits and paid as you work type of job.
If you have a typo on your documentations they will hold half or whole of your check until next pay period if it not submitted in on time.

On this job one serves as an independent contractor. Work is for two hours per day. One arrives at the home at the designated hour and immediately begains to provide supervision for the client. However, supervision can not be provided in the absent of an adult family member. During some days supervision is conducted by the TSS with the collaboration of a behavior specialist. The hardest part of the job is to get the client calm down during behavior out burst.

This company has a good attitude toward new applicants. However, there is not enough hours. If you will work full-time you should apply for Philadelphia area. If its 1 hour from your home it will be very expensive and hard for you. 
Be sure to ask for references in your coworkers beacuse your Manager or your Supervisor are too busy !!!

I worked for this company for two years. I was a TSS worker and I always was given good cases and never had much problems covering for others or trying to get more hours. When I became the staffing specialist, it was a family oriented work environment and we all got along. The leader of the organization was great. I'd recommend anyone to work for this company.

This job is most definitely for people who actively want to work with the give population. While it can be rewarding, dealing with management can be a nightmare at best. Contacting them can be incredibly tricky as upper staff changes so often and it can be hard to remember who handles what. They are also likely to blame you for mistakes they made and leave it on you to absolve the issue.

Staffmore is a staffing agency that provides you with the opportunity to work within the behavioral health field. There are many changes that have occurred during my time with the company. This is a good opportunity for those who have just come out of undergrad, and need work experience within the field.

A typical day is really just sitting in a close proximity of your client, redirecting when necessary keeping the client on track with school work or the task at hand. TSS involves a lot of down time for the employee because unless your client is having a behavior your not really doing too much. The most enjoyable part is the flexible hours and being around the kids.
