I have 28 years experience, and this is the happiest I've been in a job.  Stratascale is a start-up with a great business model and mission.  It's built around high-end professionals and experts in the business.  Talking to clients is easy when you're backed by people who have worked in the trenches and really know what they're doing.  Sure it has it's challenges as start-ups do--solidifying business processes, adapting to fast growth.  The executive level is a tight group of people who actually like each other (and it shows), and they've set out with a mission to do great things.

As far as the day-to-day goes.  All remote work, complete flexibility of schedule, a total 'family first' atmosphere.  This is the first job where I don't have to lie about where I am (tending to my kids, an appt, etc.).  Exciting work, challenging and fast paced.  Start-ups aren't for everyone, but this is the pace that I thrive in best.  Lots and lots of opportunity for professional growth. 

Stratascale is a wholly owned subsidiary of SHI. You have the feel of a startup with the backing and support of a 35 year old Enterprise.
Yes we have the challenges and pains all startups have in finding our direction, but we are also building something meaningful.
We are 100% remote and able to provide an adaptable work/life balance for everyone's needs. We are growing tremendously fast, offering wonderful career opportunities, while adhering to a great culture.

Typical day at work consisted of multiple cold calls and trying to establish brand recognition. Management was very weak and slow to react to client concerns and team leadership. Some co-workers were very green and ineffective, while others were bright and commited.

Stratascale talks a big game but it is all an illusion. Senior leadership constantly changes direction and they lack the necessary experience and wisdom to pull off their big dreams. 

For possible employees, stay away. In fact, run, don’t walk.

For potential customers, unless it is a security solution, don’t waste your time. And if it is security, be cautious as Stratascale is a house of cards despite SHI’s backing.

Prior to huge restructuring, CEO and Sr Ldrship team were a total joke.  Start up has been around almost 4 yrs and hasn't made a profit since.  Most everyone is learning on the fly after a deal is sold.  Pay was great, but feels like high school; clicks and no one in at the Sr. Leadership level wants to do anything than advance their own career.  

I thrive in an environment where there are challenges and support to push the limits. We are a start-up and management is open to hear suggestions for improvement. The culture allows for a great work/life balance and is extremely family friendly.
