STSC’s experience supporting Government agencies has been solely as a subcontractor, working under several large and medium size prime contractors including CACI Technology Insights, Inc., Computer Sciences Corporation, DSTI, ICS Corporation, Log.Sec Corporation, and STG. Currently, STSC is the prime contractor on two Army contracts.

I loved my job for me! I ran my own department. I liked that I had many different Assemblies to do! Some sitting and some standing. Some small and some large Assemblies. Some 100 per hour and some 7 per hour.

When it came time for my Vacation I felt that my years of perfecting an Assembly was not considered. I would walk out on my vacation and no one would want to know what any changes I made or my schedule!

Communication was not at it's best here.
It took weeks to get answers on Problem Jobs.

I asked many times to apply my time saving experiences in other Departments and it never happened.

They had informational meetings for the employees. 
Thought they would have more per year.

Good place to work, but does have its pros and cons. lots to be done, and people always like to talk to each other about their intrests. The downsides, are mainly every job is late and employees have to scramble and work non stop their whole shift pretty much, but it is nice have your own area you work in. Somtimes the owners want things done right away when it take time to get the job done right so the parts come out good. You leave smelling like the shop and tired as a dog most days, but pay is good.

work starts at 7am cutting material on a big and small saw, chamfering bars, logging in papers, use fork trucks for moving material. 10am is break was 15 min changed to 10 min, unloading and loading trucks till 11:55 am then lunch until 12:30 and work until 3:30 or later. My co workers are very easy to get along with we give each other support and help out when needed. The hardest part abut the job is lack of communication with employers of a higher position, the most enjoyable part of the job is the feeling of accomplishment

The company that I worked for was unorganized, and shabby at best.  I came to work everyday and did my job as described by the employer. When I started seeing new employees, teaching new employees, and leading new employees, I asked for a raise, and was let go.  There was no explanation. It did not take long before my unemployment to kick in, but it was the timing and the way the company works.  Not exceptable.

Very relaxed atmosphere , especially given that this is a contractor to the U.S. Navy. Friendly people; often interested in each other personally. Very little pressure on the IT Department as they were quite understanding of the challenges presented to us.

two brothers fighting constantly for the same position in their dads company. Doing a set up was frustrating , need tooling ? well good luck finding one of the two brothers to unlock their office to get it.

Great Company with a lot of potential. Working environment is friend and team oriented amongst the workers in the office.

The company paid fine for the contract position.  The issue was that it was a contract position that lasted only 3 months.  There were no available similar positions when the contract was terminated.
