I worked at Tarlani Healthcare for May 2023- August 2024 , and my experience was extremely disappointing due to the unprofessional work environment. From the outset, it was clear that there was a severe lack of leadership and organization.

Key issues: 
Poor management : The management team was disorganized and often unavailable. There was little to no communication about company goals or expectations, leading to constant confusion and frustration among employees.
Toxic Culture : The workplace culture was toxic, with favoritism and office politics rampant. Instead of fostering a collaborative environment, the atmosphere was competitive and cutthroat. Constructive feedback was rare, and when given, it was often delivered in a demeaning and unprofessional manner.
Lack of Professionalism: Basic professional standards were frequently ignored. Meetings started late or were canceled without notice, deadlines were arbitrary and constantly shifting, and promises made by management were rarely kept. This led to a chaotic work environment where it was difficult to accomplish anything effectively.
Inadequate Training and Support: New employees received minimal training and were expected to understand complex processes without proper guidance. When questions arose, senior staff were often unhelpful or dismissive.
High Turnover: Due to the poor working conditions, employee turnover was extremely high. This not only disrupted workflow but also created a sense of instability and insecurity among the remaining staff.

Working at this place was a horrible experience. They will not value you as an employee. Tarlani has such an unprofessional workplace culture that stems from the highest part of their management. They constantly find ways to blame their employees because they don’t want to take accountability for their mistakes. The DON mistreats the nurses and office staff, constantly talking down and making distasteful comments towards them. They constantly overwork their staff and it’s very common for people to work more than 8+ hours here. They are incredibly understaffed and will continue to add work to your workload, no matter how many things you have to do. I’ve seen multiple employees leave this place in less than a month because it is an extremely toxic environment.  I don’t know how this place is still operating since it is so dysfunctional. They take an overwhelming amount of patients from big name hospitals, but they can’t even provide proper care for them. This all comes from the management of Tarlani that can’t understand how to value and respect their employees. Please be aware before applying. 

If you enjoy being treated like an inconvenience rather than an employee, Tarlani Healthcare is the place for you! The leadership here has mastered the art of micromanaging with a side of condescension. It’s truly impressive how they can simultaneously ignore your professional input while blaming you for their poor decisions. Got a work-related question? Be prepared for a lecture on how your existence is costing the company money. HR promises sound great in theory, but they’re more of a vague suggestion. To top it all off, the pay doesn’t reflect the amount of work or the frequent added responsibilities that come with zero extra compensation. If you thrive on unnecessary stress, being belittled, and enjoy working in an environment that feels like a cross between a high school cafeteria and a dictatorship, Tarlani will exceed your expectations.

The issue with Tarlani is that because of their contracts, they must accept every patient referral even if they cant be staffed

Every single day there are angry patients, nurses, doctors, and hospitals that call to file a complaint. All of their angry complaints are warranted. Nurses can't be staffed for wound and iv visits. The therapists can't be staffed timely. It is difficult to defend against these phone calls. 

This is also one of the most hostile work environment's I've ever been in. Management openly yells and causes scenes on the office floor. Working here is uncomfortable. They also offer no paid holidays and no matching 401k. They have the highest turnover rate with any company and they always lose valuable and hard working employees because of the mistreatment and abuse they receive. you can only beat a dog so much before its had enough.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The freedom of being able to work alone. Also, being able to  meet new people and build relationships with patients.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
You don’t get paid on time.  Not enough hours. Management plays a lot of mind games, the left hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing. It starts from the owner all the way down to HR.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment is good because I only interacted with the patients and their family.  As far as the administration side, very unorganized, lack of accountability, and very petty.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Out on the field driving to patients house making visits.

I worked at TARLANI, for a period of time. The job itself was alright, and the pay was average. However, I found limited opportunities for growth or getting raises based on merit. Promotions seemed to happen out of desperation to retain employees rather than recognizing achievements.

Despite claiming to be "the best company to work for" among home health agencies, I believe the owner's perception is delusional. The pay is average, and the company lacks comprehensive benefits such as dental and vision coverage. Additionally, there are no paid holidays or paid time off (PTO) provided.

One potential perk is the high turnover rate, which may result in the company offering financial incentives to encourage employees to stay. However, during the interview process, they tend to lowball candidates and pay them less than what was advertised online.

Pros: Many colleagues are pleasant to work with, and the team environment can be supportive.
Cons: New employees are expected to learn many processes very quickly, which can be challenging. Support is available, but some guidance may be limited due to staffing constraints. Departments often have a small number of employees relative to workload, which can result in a high volume of tasks. Time clock systems can occasionally slow down the start of shifts. HR procedures may also be inconsistent at times.
Advice to Management: Consider providing more structured onboarding and consistent support for new employees to help manage workload and ensure smooth operations.

I worked here during my probation period and unfortunately had a very negative experience. New employees were not properly welcomed or introduced to the team, and management made little effort to help new staff feel included.

The coworkers were friendly and supportive, which was the only positive aspect of the job. However, the work environment created by management felt very stressful and toxic. Employees seemed to be hired frequently and then let go after only a week or two, creating a constant sense of instability and uncertainty.

There was a lot of criticism over minor issues, and I did not feel supported or valued as an employee. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this workplace to someone looking for a stable and positive work environment.

If you want to hate your life work here, they will not train you and they will involuntarily move you around different departments as people quit weekly. Each week is a new roster of employees simply because of how bad it is to work here. You try to bring up an issue you are having and end up with no help at all and even criticized for not knowing something you were never taught. Absolutely zero room for growth. Management is horrendous, I never met one person who enjoyed working here. Multiple different languages being spoken in a small office in a rude manner. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

When dealing with a company that fails to meet expectations, the experience can be quite frustrating. In this case, the company in question exhibited a lack of reliability and professionalism, which was further exacerbated by the discourteous behavior of the staff. Communication was a major issue, leading to misunderstandings and dissatisfaction. The services provided did not align with what was promised, leaving customers feeling deceived and undervalued. Such a negative encounter can discourage future engagement and warrants a candid review to inform others.
