What is the best part of working at the company?
The mechanics if you have issue with your truck they'll get it fixed pretty fast one to two days which is pretty good

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The favoritism starting at TTE you will be giving the worst runs that make the least amount of money and the money that you make you have to fight for it because they'll find a way not to pay you there's so many things you do for free that you don't get paid for split loads going to different racks customers not having enough in their account to pick up the load so they change the load and don't pay you for the extra time or travel And when you bring up that you didn't get paid for something that you did it's always this loophole they find not to pay you and the hours are long for the The amount that you get paid

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The morale is very low and the culture is very cutthroat it's a rat race people claiming all over each other to get the better runs throwing people under the bus favoritism is huge so if you're not kissing butt you will be given the worst loads that are the hardest to pay the least

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Going extra early because they never have your runs ready for the night after you get your runs you got to wait for a truck because they never have trucks available while you're waiting you have to figure out how much goes and needs compartment once you get your truck you have to take pictures of each corner of the truck as a pre-trip and fill out a long pre trip checklist once you head out of there and go to the racks you have to wait in line to get into rack and then pray that the account numbers they give you are valid if not you have to pull out of the rack call them to have it fixed You're not getting paid for this you get paid by the load so all this extra time is on you then after you get that worked out you go to the store which most of the time they give you multiple products and the holes for the products are always far away from each other being new those are the load you get you will put your cones out in the area of your working and get your hoses off the truck one of them is going to be a very long one which is heavy because where you're dropping the fuel are never close to each other at these small stations after you're done putting the gas into the ground you will have a lot of paperwork to fill out take photos of and send in so that you can get paid if you have to take the load to another site they normally pay $15 for that but you never get that $15 it's on you

My experience being at this company you better be ready for anything.
I worked at this company for 3 yrs as  "Truck Driver," Delivering Bulk Gas Loads". One thing I can say is if you know how to drive in and out of tight squeezes area's with no problem you good but, if you don't it's best you keep it moving... Another thing about this company is if you like moving fast to meet your route schedule deliveries to make the money you need, I suggest you at least do 4 loads a day to at least stay with the program cause if you fall below doing 3 load's a day you might be looking to see your check decrease as well as looking for new employment . Now that I got the bad thing about this company let me give you the good news about it ... If this your first time trying to learn how to deliver fuel this will be a great place to learn as well as get a nice lil view of how to operate a fuel delivery truck. Well, I guess that's it but at all time keep in mind you only get one chance to shine try to do your best your experience goes a long way when you do your best !

I was hired on to the company having proven and verified experience from my previous employment. However, I was not given extra compensation for my experience, and I rotated/slip-seated between 2-3 trucks in the Texarkana location. One of the "Senior " drivers there stated at 0600-0700 all the time, thereby forcing me to start my shift late at night!!! I consistently asked to management and dispatchers to have him start earlier, but to no avail, it went through one ear and right out the other. Moreover, they govern their trucks to 68 mph, and they pay their loads based off mileage!! So, the longer it takes to get to the load, the more money it pays. Unfortunately, you're not able to do to many of those because the truck only runs 68!! 😕 I left because their CSA scores were more important than me trying to take care of my family and getting home to them in a timely manner. 

Pay by the load , loads depend on who's butt you kiss, 3 to 4 loads a day for 10 to 12 hrs averages 14 to 16 dollars per hour, bi- weekly pay. 2YEARS before your first raise.
Company has newer equipment, constantly buying new trucks, they spend approximately 1 million per terminal, which id rather drive an older truck and make more money but they're more concerned about image than employee happiness, the happy employees have been there over 5 years . If you have a family to support you can't do it here, they are only interested in getting the 25,000 hiring bonus from the government per person they hire weather you stay one day or 8 weeks, that's why I said revolving door, as fast as they hire people quit.. if they would pay what they said I would still be there, you're basically set up to make 200 per day , I only ever saw 3 good days where I made 250.00 or more...

As far as home daily jobs go, TTE provides that and a solid paycheck here in the Tyler area. The sacrifice? You'll have to work grueling hours and overnights. Most of the time I found myself too tired to even want to enjoy my time at home.

I also found the paperwork burden to be excessive, particularly when compared to OTR companies. The equipment is probably the worst I've ever seen for any company I have ever worked at: Trucks had, on average 500,000 miles or more, and maintenance was poor. 

All that being said, if you need to get home every day, don't want to do food merchandising or back-breaking hand unloads, and still want to make a decent living, TTE is one of the best options in the Tyler area.

Oh, yeah, and they don't have driver-facing cameras.

Overall I enjoy all my co-workers I work with and the customers!
The management however is VERY disorganized & does NOT care to listen to drivers concerns or issues.  The management simply DOES NOT CARE!!! If you have a problem and walk in to the office to talk to the manager they look down at the computer as if they are busy typing up a email. Will not look you in the eyes which equals lies!! One day I positioned myself to glance at the computer screen and there was NOTHING happening on that screen!!! They will make EMPTY promises and tell you what you want to hear just to get you out of their face!!! They give you a mileage chart that shows how much you will be paid per load but when paid it does not match what they say!!!! STAY AWAY!!!  Definitely NOT a Christian company! Corporate is full of CON ARTISTS!!!

I used to work for this disgusting poor company out of San Antonio division and let me tell you they don't train you well and expect you to do well. Pretty much they set you up for failure. While I was working there in the night shift I must have caught at least fifty mice and when I reported it nothing was done. I even took pictures to let them see the nastiness of the company. I was let go through a text message and was not told why they just let me go. They have a hard time keeping people there because management is so unprofessional and don't know what they are doing what's so ever also there is alot of favoritism that goes around so if you want temporary work at a no good company go ahead and apply and see for yourself. I dare you

Pay sucks, schedule sucks, management sucks, dispatch sucks, benefits suck, most of the repair shop sucks, and home time sucks for a home daily job. You are not a truck driver here, you are a number.  12 hour shift for maybe $260. Management doesn’t care if your having issues, you better not bother them on their off days. They are nearly impossible to get ahold of.  We make in 11 days what most others make in 5-6 days. Dispatch has their favorites that they give the most/best loads too. Some dispatch also partakes in childish gossip. Most rigs are filthy and dirty because nobody cares that the trucks are not taken care of. Overall, this company is transitioning to that mega-carrier mentality.

If you do the right thing and it causes negative consequences towards the company, you are held responsible. If you cut corners for the company and get caught, you are held responsible. Work enviroment is very hostile, if you don't move fast and ask too many questions you'll be in and out looking for another job before 6 months. They will hire office staff as salary but pays per day. Its having the cons of salary and hourly without any of the pros. Your "sick days" are PTO for a salaried member. Your vacation days is also PTO. They run a tight knit system that is incredibly shady. Do Not Work For This Company

The management I worked with was super easy going.

The only stressful part was monitoring the screens for low fuel & getting a truck there before the customer ran out

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
When I worked 70's music was always playing. All the office staff had worked together for many years so they had a tight bond but I nevet felt like the new comer

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I was the weekend dispatcher so I worked Fri-Sun 6a-6p. Monitoring multiple fuel screens & taking calls from customers who were not setup to be monitor.
