Overall great people to work with starting from Matt as the CEO all the way down to the staff and interns they hire.  Everyone is always willing to help and the opportunities to learn are endless.

Matt Andrew and Greg are really great leaders for the company and exemplify the attributes that inspire their workers to want to do a good job for them.  CFO and Controllers are also really great to learn from.

The only shortfall is that the pay is not as competitive in terms of base.  However they do provide opportunities to make more in terms of billable hours or how well you perform for each client (i.e. improve their profitability).  But this is just the nature of the industry.  You can actually make as much as you want if you do a good job and put in the work.

Overall this company is an awesome company and you'll learn so much that will launch your career to where you would've been in 5-7 years elsewhere in a matter of 1-2 years.  Sky is the limit here in terms of advancement.  

I've had many great memories at TGG and wouldn't be where I'm at today in my accounting career if it wasn't for the great people here.  Awesome work-life balance.  Great leadership.  Work-hard play-hard culture.

Great place to work if you're a top accountant and want to be challenged and surrounded by other top performers.  100+ hrs/year of internally taught live classroom training is available to all.  Significant pace of experience growth applying best practices to many businesses while supported by an experienced team of colleagues.  Fun all-company annual retreat; quarterly BBQs.  Very collaborative and supportive group.  Significant room for career growth - over 30% of the staff received a promotion in the past 12 months.  Incentive compensation program designed to motivate and reward staff who want to put in more than the minimum.  Nice office with free health club, pool.  Significant schedule flexibility provided you deliver high quality results at the time to which you manage expectations that the results will be delivered.  Lots of colleagues to learn from and receive mentorship from, willing to help.

I am a current employee, and my manager (Controller Level) has less credentials, relevant experience, schooling, etc than I do... Upper management will not acknowledge issues with retention, they keep losing good people and doing the same awful things over and over again. 
Salary is okay. That is the only redeeming factor. But beware, because you will be "contracted" for a certain number of billable hours in order to reach the desired salary tier. And if you go above that, there is no additional help or compensation. They will put you in positions that force you to work 10-15+ hours each day, plus weekends, while your managers sit back and do nothing, working only a fraction of the hours you do. 
And the poor leadership is, of course, never the leaders fault. 
No real advancement opportunities unless you get in the right cliques. 
Again, you will see people in positions above you with less credentials and experience. This is not a good practice at all! 

TGG seems fun to work for until you realize there are clicks and groups that you do not belong to. It is very easy to identify who are the "favorites". Who can get away with things, who is always on you and watching your back like a hawk. Management does not care about your thoughts but will blame you when things do not workout. Some CFO's should be considered accounting managers at most as they will misguide you and you will learn wrong accounting.

Culture: High stress. Passive aggressive. No responsibility for work (just blame "the process" and you will be ok). Agree with management, even when they say they want your opinion, or risk being black listed on good clients. Do NOT share your true opinion with co-workers (especially higher up than you), it will come back to haunt you. It's all about hours billed, not client results. Poor benefits.

Unfortunately, management was disorganized, lacked transparency, and provided little employee support. Feedback was often unclear or nonexistent, and job security was a major issue. Decisions were made without considering employee well-being or long-term stability. I do not recommend working here due to poor management, lack of stability, and a toxic work environment. There are far better workplaces that offer growth, support, and respect for employees.

The company puts inexperienced staff in a management position. Lack of experience from management makes direct report work difficult. The company nip picks on everything and you will be called out and embarrassed during company daily meetings. The company onboarding process was all over the place and the advertised training and career development was nonexistent.

If you value personal and professional growth then this is the place to work. At TGG you will learn accounting for various industries, interact with accounting professionals at all levels, interact with business owners, and work within all aspects of the accounting cycle.

This company is not everyone. They don't have your back. The training is a joke!!! High turnover!! No loyalty!! It's not what you know. It's who you are good with. To many passing the blame. No ownership!!

TGG was a great company and has a vitural office. I would go to client offices 2-3 days a week and in my home office the other days. I enjoyed meeting the clients and helping them succeed
