Tapestry Arbutus is an amazing place to work with a incredible work environment and career advancement opportunities. 

I feel very lucky to have worked at this place as a Concierge and helping with some Administrative assignments during the busy and unprecedent time in the early days of the Covid-19 pandemic. This is a place where people are caring, considerate and where everyone is willing to help.

I had the opportunity to create connections not only with my colleagues but also with the seniors. Working in a seniors community is  rewarding as you enjoy seeing their smiles on their faces when you assist them or when you just listen their stories. Best experience work I have ever had!



Tapestry offers a wonderful work environment that fosters learning, development and personal growth. The company is also growing so there is room for advancement for the right person. Exceptional service is what Tapestry strives for each and every day and it is a great thing to be a part of. 
The benefits package at Tapestry is also second to none with RRSP matching after 1 year of service as well! The energy amongst the team is really positive as well and the food is fantastic!

Co-employee are great but complicated.
Tapestry dont care who you are as a person and they will get all what they paid for. So work work work and never talk back.
They say they will listen.... oh they do.. but it always comes out on the other ear. 
You got lots of vacation oh yeah... but no one will cover your shift.
Free meal oh yeah yum yum. They removed it. And they dont even give a notice they let you starve for few days first
Hard headed management.

Ive been working as a server at Tapestry Arbutus walk since 2016 and I’ve loved it since the day one! I take a lot of pleasure working with our senior residents.  Overall, Tapestry is a great place to work because of its beautiful and up lifting atmosphere and its great management team!  I can only say nice things about this place and I definitely recommend it to everyone out there that are looking for a job! 

Work at Tapestry is an unique experience, as the job and the interaction with the residents are dynamic and enjoyable. Really good benefits and the food is delicious. Management take actions when needed and is always aware of what is happening with the residents/ staff. It feels like a big family working together. 

I’ve been working under the health department for over 10 years now and can truly vouch for how rewarding it is to be a part of this company. I feel valued and appreciated daily, which is why I’m always eager and excited to come to work. The community is supportive and uplifting, truly making one feel welcome and cared for. 

It’s a beautiful place to work but the management is poor. The Management at Health and Wellness has no consideration to all employees. They ask you to work even if you are sick. You have no right to call and sick even if you are not feeling well or you have an emergency.

I love the atmosphere at Tapestry. The residents are so appreciative of everything we do for them and the relationships you make are so impactful for them and for yourself as well.
There are always fun events and activity to join in if you want to.


I’ve been working here for 6 yrs and im happy doing my job as Resedent Assistant,, its Productive and fun workplace, very Friendly environment and they  Treated their employees fairly..
