What is the best part of working at the company?
Learning about how private practice groups and credentialing services are done.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Waiting for parts of a relatively,  new group private practice to gel.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very pleasant, friendly,  professional, collaborative. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Reviewing forums, learning about parts of the group practice and focusing on acquiring clients and advancing my practice with support.

It is such a joy to work at Tava. I've never been at a place where so much focus is placed on healthy culture. People are sensitive and compassionate, there's a great sense of community. That combined with the fact that the team is smart, works hard toward shared goals and enormous market opportunity makes Tava hard to beat for great places to work.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Creating your own schedule and having support from the company and other clinicians.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Not getting client to switch over to your no show rate.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very flexible, therapist friendly, my experience has been mainly positive so far.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I work with the company part time

Tava makes it easy for me to focus on what I love to do - working with clients. I get to work with a diverse group of clients who are highly motivated and engaged in a supportive environment. Tava takes care of all of the parts of being a therapist that take away from focusing on clinical care - billing, lengthy paperwork, finding clients - making it possible for all of my time with Tava to be dedicated solely to providing therapy.

It's great to be able to wake up in the morning knowing your work contributes to a greater cause and that your efforts are helping to make therapy normal and accessible.
The team is incredibly supportive and everyone wants to see the company and their colleagues succeed. Very few start-ups can offer the level of flexibility and work-life balance that Tava does. 



Pros: Flexibility to set own schedule. Supportive environment.  The platform is easy to navigate. Offer free 1 credit continuing education credits almost monthly. 

Cons: A lot of changes over the years due to being a start up. Some states have hired too many therapists so therapists are struggling to have enough clientele to stay busy. Or they've lost contracts for EAP and haven't replaced them.

Building up Client base during week

Isolated  working on your own. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A few clients during the day depend ing on schedule

Everyone at Tava cares - about their work, about Tava's mission, about our clients, and about each other. The people here are fantastic and incredibly supportive. It's rewarding and refreshing to be part of a great team that is making a real difference in the world.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Best part was the clients.  However, this was spoiled by the overt lack of communication including non-responsiveness to my concerns, and lack of attempt to resolve issues and keep me as a therapist.  

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The company itself.
