I worked there for about 4 months before I quit (school related). They had a high turnover rate, which is sad because the office staff was pretty nice. There was another nurse who was hired with me but she moved onto another job because the person who was supposed to train us never contacted us. It took over two weeks for this training nurse (I don't think she's there anymore) to contact us. They would compensate reasonably for out of area patients and mileage, but the driving was just too far even with compensation. I lived almost 90 miles from some of the patients I was asked to see. They seemed to be understaffed when it came to nurses and LVNs. But home health has a high turnover rate in general, so it's not the company's fault.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Nothing good about working here! No support, total waste of time. DO NOT WORK HERE 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Trying to get patient’s within the 20 mile radius that you agreed to work in. Don’t speak up or make any waves or you will be blackballed!

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
One manager here is awesome. However, it appears she may be out of touch with staffing and the antics they play 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Trying to get patients. Or having to drive very long distances to even get a patient

Great company to get experience in if you're a new grad. DON is very supportive and very understanding. They provide some training, but would recommend you have at least 6 months of home health experience before working for this high paced home health. Lots of patients. Always work available. You get to practice your skills.

Tender is a cutting edge company. Management has a clear vision of goals and employees are taken cared of. Their service is excellent! Tender strives to give quality to their patients, families they serve and has a dynamic working relationship with the healthcare industry.

There are many companies who treat their staff as a means to an end, however, Tender is the complete opposite. They inquire about my career goals and work with me to hit those goals as well as provide me with the tools to succeed. I have learned a lot from the staff at Tender and believe I have grown significantly in a professional sense within the past few years.

They value their people.They try their best to be fair, and help you grow with the company.Good place to work at if you truly like infusions.Good open door policy You will encounter patients from all socio economic background. Be flexible.I have mostly worked at huge companies but felt most at home here.

I worked with the marketing team at Tender Home Health and it was a great experience. The management and staff were great to work with that focused on positive energy within the office to enhance productivity.  It’s a forward thinking company that truly strives for growth individually (employees) and as a company. I’d highly recommend.

Constant pointless texts/calls/meetings
Nurses don't follow up on patients - hurts commission
