I had the misfortune of working for TForce in their Portland branch for less than two months. 
When I interviewed, an out of state branch manager had conducted the interview as he was in Portland giving the branch some much needed guidance after losing several valuable, long time employees including the branch manager. 
As a result of being hired by people who were not permanent employees of this specific branch, I was painted a deceitfully beautiful picture that took little time to fall apart. 
Because we did not have a branch manager at the time, it often felt like I was in a classroom of children without a teacher. I was hired to do dispatch for their critical/on demand department. This department handles very time sensitive runs and works with independent drivers and I can say, it was not run appropriately AT ALL. 
I was one of the two people in critical. The gal that was dispatching when I started had just moved to the area from across the country and was initially hired to do billing. With no experience in the industry, zero knowledge of the area, and no training, they had her dispatching!! She was ultimately my go to and did her best to help train me but as anyone could imagine, this was not the most effective form of training. 
About a month in, we got a new branch manager and everybody was very eager to have her join our team in hopes that she could use her power and experience to turn this mess of a branch around. Two weeks in, she fired two of the four people on our team. She treated us like step children, treated our drivers like slaves, had her office door shut 95% of the time and when we did get the chance to approach her, left us to feel dumb for even asking her questions. 
She promised changes to many people including myself that she never followed through with and when approached at a later time about these things, she acted like prior promises were non existent. 
She ultimately ran everybody out of the branch. Of the people in the office I started with two months ago, not a single person is still with this company. Additionally, many drivers quit and many contracts were lost. 
This is by far the biggest mess of a company I have ever worked for. The complete disregard for people and their needs (both in the work place and to support their personal lives) on a daily basis was absolutely flooring. 
I was loyal to this branch as I saw potential in TForce as a whole but this specific branch was an absolute disaster and I regret the loyalty I put into this black hole as I was ultimately pushed out. I cant speak for all of Tforce, but I haven't heard the best of things about other branches or even corporate, so potential employee, BE AWARE.

I've give seven years to this company as a independent contractor, not bad in the beginning, but with time and the continuous change in management became worst and worst.
They don't care about the drivers, no communication , bad dispatching, bad management ,asking for hi cost commercial insurance, on top of your expenses with your car maintenance. They will make you promises witch they will never keep. I had days when I actually have to take money out of my pocket to complete the job!!!!! They hire new management with no knowledge in delivery business or, logistics ! They treat you as a employee when you are a independent contractor. As a independent contractor is your right to know how much a job is paid, they will never tell you, making you to drive 40 miles for 10 bucks. They will promise to new hire people that you are going to make decent money, but after they get their first pay check they quit, realizing it was a waste of time. Continuously lowering the 50% pay for the jobs, charging you extra fees without letting you know, and when you find out about it and you asking why, they will give you all kind of answers witch make no sense. I rate working for this company with one star , because is no choice to rate lower ! I am that type of person who will always go the extra mile for my job , which I have always done for Dynamex but was not appreciated.

I start at 3am. When I get to the office, I start on my morning reports. While I do my morning reports, which take me about an hour, the drivers begin to come in one by one as they arrive. By that time, it's about 4-4:15am. I log them in to their scanners under their own numbers and print out mock route sheets if needed. When the drivers get done with gathering their papework and making sure they're logged in, they are to go and scan all packages assigned to their routes. Once they are done, they report to me for anything they need such as missing packages, final route sheets, laptops or any item marked over 250.00$ total. Once the drivers leave the warehouse, they're to call me as needed on the multi-lined dispatcher phone. I then handle any other reports that I will need for the next day or to help accomodate to company service and the afternoon shift's work. Management is rediculous. Our supervisors rely on dispatchers to do their jobs most of the times, which is completely backwards. The hardest part of the job is dealing with so many different attitudes during the day. The most enjoyable part of my job is being able to help the drivers complete their deliveries and also on the days our company makes service, it creates a much better working environment.

I was an in house delivery person for the pharmacy at Riverside Hospital. Making sure that I delivered the different medicines in a timely manner to the various nurse's stations and or med rooms.Certain medicines needed signed documents by the nurses or doctors and the documents returned to the pharmacy. some medicines had to be scanned when delivered, Learning to work with the different Pharmacist, nurses and doctors and knowing that this was a very professional environment.This job involved a lot of walking. in one 8 hour shift my Pedometer logged 32,000 steps. Working in a hospital and hearing all the story's and events happening throughout and having to go in rooms and seeing sick, dead and all the various different conditions was hard to get use to. With Riverside being one of the largest hospitals in the city and learning our way around the different buildings and the short cuts to get through the hospital faster to keep the medicines moving faster a was fun to learn.

I was with TA Dedicated originally and when the company merged with TFI. The merger was really crazy. We had three different IT departments, one from TA Dedicated, Contrans and TFI and half the time you didn't know who to go to. I didn't have internet in my office for 5 months and went through 3 different computers. The HR processes were very manually and I found myself going through different emails and systems to get the simplest thing like a new hires SSN. Management was great and were very patient. I felt really bad for them because TFI didn't help at all with the merger from my point of view. They had to build out a lot of things by themselves. Normally when a company goes through this type of change external consultants are called in to help. I don't think TFI got the memo on that. Outside of it, the job was easy with some days being really busy and some being really boring. While the management was super supportive, I wouldn't recommend working for TFI. It says a lot about a company who buys out another company and doesn't help them get situated in their processes. 

RUN! The pay is A JOKE.  AND ITS NOT WORTH IT!  

Maybe you have a car and need extra income or a means of income.  Well, theyll hire you and your car, and you'll eventually get a pay check (after three weeks of fronting fuel costs waiting for your first check), and it's OK - but once you subtract fuel, and look at how much time it took to finish (their estimates are a joke) you'll find yourself having made $10-15 an hour at the end of the week with 1000-2000 extra miles on your car.  

Need your car like  most people?  Watch your odometer go up by tens of thousands and start worrying.  You cant get anywhere doing this, unless someone has gifted you a vehicle and insurance, and you have nothing better to do with your time.  Otherwise you'll make pennies on the dollar and watch your car crumble into the ground.  Soon youll have no job, and no car.  Its a loop nobody at this company gives a *** about.  They make their money from YOUR CAR and YOUR DELIVERIES and they pocket the profits.  Otherwise it'd be nice to drive and deliver medications overnight or otherwise for extra money. 

The company is currently holding a contract with the inter-loan library program in the state of New Jersey. This program is running out of funds by July of 2019 and the interviewer claimed to have an existing contract with a stationary supply chain. 
 
My interview and job offer was all of Southwestern New Jersey territory. @$7.00 a stop, the route consisted of 119 stops over the course of 5 days and approximately 200 miles per day(if not more) and providing customer service to all those clients on these routes ( VERY POORLY ORGANIZED)
 
While the work required minimal effort, the financial burden and stress of the route size as well as the troubleshooting needed for all the short comings associated with organizational issues. Make this opportunity completely absurd and incapable of managing a profit.  
 
I understand we all have to make a living and your need might be immediate. Please be very weary of this employer. Be on your A game and work out the price per stop you're willing to accept, prior to even walking into the door in deptford.

I wish I had more positive reviews to leave for Dynamex. After coming into the organization and quickly becoming the number 2 sales associate in the country, positive feedback would seem par for the course, but, I had a terrible experience with this organization.

My biggest issues was the fact that within less than one year Dynamex decided to cut my commission compensation on deals already closed. Not a good strategy to keeping highly effective results driven sales associates.

My second issue is the deployment of their business model. The innate flaw in their business model is also their organizational business proposition. Dynamex uses independent contractors as drivers to help organizations drive town costs to replace in-house drivers and trucks. The issue stems from lack of control on the independent contractor side. Contract issues include poor appearance to poor vehicle quality to lack of communication with customers when issues arise.

In theory the model is great but in delivery the model suffers.

I get to work at 5 a.m. I receive my route for the day. Then I proceed to setting up my route by putting in new stops with my regulars.Then  I joke around with my fellow worker. After that I go into a truck and proceed to place boxes on a conveyor belt where they are to be loaded by myself and my coworkers into cargo vans. After all the cases are scanned and all boxes accounted for, we each go on to our delivery areas. The management has been good in assisting with attempts route changes and organization and customer service. The coworkers and I maintain a good working relationship and keep a comfortable atmosphere. The coworkers and I sometimes have problems out on our routes due to bad weather,construction zones and excessive traffic. But I believe the best part is meeting new people, developing relationships and the sense of pride from conquering challenges and coming back with an empty truck at a decent hour. I enjoy that the most.
