Typical day at my job, started with doing  daily check off list to verify every thing was functioning properly from previous shift. Running schedule jobs, following up with customers with issues they may of had from previous shift that was not resolved, responding to customers phone calls, processing and verifying files, doing system backups and monitoring and Initializing system for startup for new day process. What I've learned over the years is how to interact with my coworkers, not to panic and to keep a log of system problems, updating management and technical support when there was an issue and dealing with customers when they had an issue with there logging or systems. Management was always available if there was questions and very helpful. My co-workers was always easy to get along with and willing to help or ask for help when needed. The hardest part of my job was when customers or us had issue with there system that was not an easy fix and getting every one input at the same time. The most enjoyable part of my job was that it was a three day work week, I made a good salary/bonus and for the most part I worked with great people. Also had health benefit that paid part of my gym membership.

As every organization, the role of each employee depend of their departments and leaders. This organization is 7/24, therefore has several work shifts. My work shift was supposed to be from 7 AM to 3 PM. A typical day for me was to supervise the porter's job (Cleaning of Bathrooms, refill of vending machine, kitchen and office supplies);  inspect the mail room (postage supplies, function of production copier, mail); attend departmental meetings; print ID cards for new hires and replacement; create and execute  employee's request tickets; update vendor's contact list; order office supplies (furniture, food, ergonomics, technology); provide ergonomic service for the staff; trouble shoot printer issues;  assist with large print production jobs;  assist with the scheduling of office moves; pest control;  security protocols. Most of the time I left around 4:30 PM, after my second shift arrived.

Provide customer support and respond to inquiries from financial institution participants, third-party service providers, other network operators and the Federal Reserve Bank; This may include technical support in troubleshooting connectivity via MQ, C:D and FTP.

Small association owned by the largest US banks. Given the transformation of the US payments systems/methods and the amount of new regulatory oversight it is a demanding job that requires great business acumen, leadership and the ability to manage the day-to-day opportunities in a multi tiered regulated environment.

For what it is the job is pretty straight forward but they don't really focus on development or growth. Sometimes things feel stagnant or lagging behind in terms of technology and they miss many opportunities to grow within the company. It was nice for the 3 years spent here but more than that at this Tier isn't worth the time.

Run!  Don't even waste your time or talent on this place.  From entry level to the top, they're all horrifically toxic people.  I left my job of ten years to work there and after two months could not get out fast enough.  Even when I was home sick with the flu, I was expected to be logged on to my computer and working.  

This company has been the worst workplace I’ve experienced. Management is unapproachable and very poor communication. Asking questions often leads to negative repercussions instead of support. I saw no appreciation for hard work, no work-life balance, and no real opportunities for growth.

Fair place to work, no pay allowances unless you are favored, no real room for advancement. It could you forever to get a cost of living values raise. Overexperienced Over 20 yrs, Overeducated, MS LEVEL, Underpaid!!!

Terrible place to work. I never was made to feel like one of the team. 
I worked in the network operation center.  Most of the people I worked with were their a long time and did not like anyone new.
I dreaded going to work and sit there alone in a room full of people.
There is much to be said about being part of a team, and I was never made to feel that way...

This is great place to work for the benefits. If you can stay off the management radar. Management is sub-par. VP level associated make improper comments to lower level staff. Some act like they can't speak, make comments to other VP's when some people pass by. Once you get targeted they don't forget.
