What is the best part of working at the company?
The best part of working here is being able to WFH and avoid the nasty coworkers in the office. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
You are on your own. Managers don't train you. New hires are training new hires. There is a major lack of support from management. There is one coordinator from revenue cycle that sucks up to the director and thinks she owns the office. She makes the office a horrible environment, avoid at all cost - she might cause you to lose your job. Many people have left because of the toxic work environment. The pay is not worth the stress you get. No work life balance, you are expected to work overtime without getting paid overtime. Good luck.

The Pay and benefit packages available.  Earned PTO amounts.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Instability, mandatory PTO every year, low staffing required to do more with less.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Retaliative and drama, managers not supported.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Very busy, negative, stressful.

Would not recommend working here. My one other coworker is an airhead and our manager just pushes more work onto us when we are already doing a 4 man job. 
Docs I work with want us to read their minds and will snap at you. 
If holiday landed on weekday, we can’t work even if we wanted to but they still take 8 hours of PTO for that holiday. Something about that doesn’t feel right. 
Schedule is not flexible.

Its your typical locally run company when they're the only game in town type of thing.  Meaning, the only level 1 trauma center, so its poorly managed because there isn't another option.  It isnt necessary to compete when you're a "monopoly".  Feels like you're working for the State, status quo is the norm, change is discouraged and technology is outdated.  It unbelievable how many senior managers are clueless.  

I dare you to try it and write a review.  

QMC in general is a very good place for employment because it offers very good benefits and employee-friendly environment.  Managements do care about their employees and for the most parts, they do their best in helping employees to achieve their goals at work.  

Started on the new grad program. It is a big organization with many different units. The staff is usually friendly and supportive. There is a union to negotiate your contract and as resource to use. It is a busy hospital. Management varies a lot from different units, you may have a great manager in one and a not so great in the other. There is no parking in the site and you need a shuttle to the hospital that adds to the commute. 

Flexible start times, decent pay, and cohesive teams make the office a good place to work. Semi-open floor plan creates enough privacy for task completion with being open enough for coworker collisions. Employees get, and are expected to maintain, Epic certifications.

It is a fantastic place to be and I want to go back there.  There is one unfortunate thing and that is that someone built a high rise blocking our view of the ocean.  That kinda stunk.  But once you get to know the people there you will find that they are really nice to you.

The amount of micro-management and lack of trust in the employees is astounding. Very few people even within the same department are held to same standards. The Queen Emma way culture within the departments do not walk the walk.  I do not recommend this company as an employer. 

The benefits are very good, the pay is comparable.

The Epic IT department I worked for were being completely restructured when I resigned. New CEO, new CIO. Middle management had resigned. This was the worst work experience of my career. If you have absolutely nothing to lose, give this Epic department a shot.
