Working for Job Center is lots of fun!

A typical day can sometimes be quite fast-paced, with all the phone calls and people coming in throughout the day.

Depending on the time of year work can be a little slower-paced, but we always have time for lunch, and everything runs smoothly like a well-oiled machine.

I get along well with other members of staff and with management, the work is relatively straightforward, although sometimes a little challenging and the office atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming.

Overall I would say this is the best job I have had working for someone else.

Frequently can place you within a few days of applying.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Payroll mistakes/omissions (Fed taxes)
Never come to see how things are going at the site (2x in 5 yrs at same site).
You are just a body to them to fill an open job. 
Lack of communication/coordination between branches serving the same site.


What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
You can work there for years and they still don't recognize you when you come to the branch office.

I was part of a program that will pay you for taking that time of your day to find out where are you best assets to the workplace. my typical day will be to get a sign in sheet a work on a computer, find jobs. making resumes, setting up interviews with employers.  I was assigned a Case Worker that had to make sure that i placing the number of hours of job search each week.

They can find tou the shift you are looking for.When you need a certain schedule and shift ,You can be easily accommodated.Tou just have to call and ask what jobs they have available,and then pick the job preference you want,Then make a appointment and fill out some quick paperwork and rhwy can put you to qork as soon as tomorrow or within a week.

Great job would really tell people to work there. Great staff excellent at finding jobs just a good culture atmosphere I am most most employees are are great I’m ready to work on time dressed accordingly so I would really prefer this job to anyone really looking for a job immediately like they spared no time at finding jobs for people

Job Center is a fun place to work, and productions. 
Typical day at job center, start work normally whatever shift that your given, an the job your given wheather or not if it is production or line work. We take our break or lunch then back to work. We normally finish our production, and at the end of the day we finish our shift.

job center was one of my first factory jobs. In job center i worked as a machine operator. My job while working there is to use the press machine. what a press machine is a machine that press the metal so they can send them off to other companies.

The job was fun because I got to work with awesome supervisors. We had a lot of fun because I made a new friend working as a custodian and I was really happy to have had that job. Now I wish they did that this past summer.

I pass out passes to the different clients that come in the building. I meet new and interesting people on a daily basis with different opportunities. I love working here and I love the opportunities that have came along with it.

Job Center is a temp to hire work place.  They were able to find me much needed placement after i had my youngest child.  i woukld highly recommend if you are in warren to go to job center for a job.  the staff is very helpful and have always been very friendly to me as well as my family.
