No job or employer is perfect, but Jonus does it's best to provide everything that you need to succeed. I had offers on the table from multiple recruiting firms, but Jonus stood out because of the company growth and focus, as well as their compensation plan. After accepting the position, and spending nearly a year with the organization, I'm confident in my decision. The management is supportive, and the incentives are many. There is definitely a team atmosphere, that can be over the top sometimes, but it's really just about making sure everyone feels supported and recognized for their efforts. The principals have no problem getting on the phone and sitting in the trenches, and often do so. You will get out of it what you put into it. This is a job where you can make money, and the management is there to help you do it.

So far its been a great opportunity for me. Leadership allows you to trust your own instincts and pursue business that is realistic for us to serve our newest clients, while we look to expand the newly formed Accounting & Finance practice of the company. There is no micro-managing and as long as you are accountable then ownership stays out of your way. The staff here is very friendly and looks to assist whenever possible. Solid training. Weekly updates and a "power-hour" 4 days a week at a prescribed time. Other than that, you create a schedule that works for you!

I have yet to have one negative experience here with The Jonus Group! They have a family feel, offer great benefits and constant support. 

From the start, there is a great daily training program with awesome internal trainers, that walk you through anything you need to know about insurance, weekly check in meetings with your manager to go through any questions, concerns or additional training, as well as an amazing team of co-workers that will drop anything to help you throughout the day. 

On top of that, I haven't worked for a company before that has such a small/homey/supportive feel, within my first couple of weeks, I had a call from the CEO, Pete, just to check in and say hi, while the other CEO, Gene, sends congratulations emails daily!

I have been with Jonus for 13 months. I cannot imagine working for another company. Between the leadership, the team support and the financial opportunities, I cannot imagine a better place to start and grow your career. Being a recruiter can be stressful no doubt, but the support from your superiors in tough situations is phenomenal. Company meetings are fun and laid back and everyone is so nice, funny and down to earth. I am so grateful for the opportunity to work here.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Limited oversight.  You are remote and as long as you are producing there is very limited micro managing.   

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Having a lot of not so knowledgeable people deciding your fate.  

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Changes every few months on a whim.  

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Same old stuff different day.  Celebrating some new person for some made up intangible who honestly won’t be with the company 3-4 months later.

They allow us to structure our own day. I've learned many recruiting techniques here. The management is hilarious and on top of their stuff! The culture is fun but motivating. The hardest part of the job is holding yourself accountable for time management -- there are a lot of moving parts so you have to be structured with your day. The best part is there's so much support and teamwork.  

The Jonus Group is full of talented people, working together to make a difference while also making money. Everyone's successes are celebrated, no matter how big or small. The support and tools provided are unmatched. If you want to be part of a growing, successful recruiting firm, Jonus is the place to be. If you put in the work and have a go getter mentality, you can be wildly successful here. 

Came here for another recruiting firm where everyone felt like a number, we were encouraged to stab each other in the back to get a head, and the only help you got was form yourself. They do a much better job here of giving help to anyone who looks for it (almost too much,) and the team is more important than any one perosn. 

This firm places a strong value on money rather than people. You are what you are able to bill and not a whole lot more.

It does offer the opportunity to make money if you’re good. Most managers aren’t strict about start times. Could be a good stepping stone for someone who wants to be full life cycle

The culture is a bit toxic, the training is inconsistent, and the structure is always changing. Benefits are also not great.

Great Company to work for, fantastic training, and a great culture. They definitely encourage you to be successful and give you the tools to achieve it. Recruiting teams are usually all competing against each other for candidates but here at Jonus everyone works as a team to achieve success though you can still find it on your own.
