This is a terrible place to work due to management. I would never recommend anyone to work there unless they enjoyed being watched like a hawk and constantly bombarded with emails from management about the numbers. I'm hoping to be out as soon as possible. There is really only one person in charged and what that person says is what happens, no matter what. They give benefits of donuts almost weekly...no one wants donuts, a large % of the employees are fitness/health freaks, they do not want fattening foods. They peg the different sales departments against each other, rewarding one but not the other when it is supposed to be a team effort. They do not treat all departments the same, if you are not in sales you will get nothing out of working hard. Sales has cash benefits but the admin staff get NOTHING but to sit and watch as another high paid sales person walks away with more money, or tickets to the CWS, or many other perks. It's ridiculous!  Oh and be careful, there are people who get their way because they will go right to management to tell on every little thing, they will even make up stuff to try to get people in trouble, and management will NEVER believe the person being accused, they will always believe the person who told them because they are stuck to their behinds...it's disgusting!

Pay is terrible, unless you are in sales, then you have the opportunity to make more. Anyone not in sales is not compensated for the hard work that they put in...unless you are buddy buddy with management.

Health benefits are great, they pay 1/2 of your insurance premiums a month, if you are in corporate that is, those who are not in corporate have terrible insurance and they do not care, they claim that is how it is in the industry...not true! Another benefit is that they bring in food trucks every so often, eat what you want because they are paying, however, it's the same ol' same ol', they will not change it up.

Typically it is a Mon - Fri 8:00 am - 5:00 pm job, however, if you not in sales and there are things that need to be done you have to stay to get them done, and no recognition for putting in the hard work, no shout outs like they do for the sales team. 

Their thought process is that the sales is the only thing that brings in the money, sorry to tell you but each department is equally important in the life of the company, until they realize that this place will be terrible and toxic.

I have been an account manager at Titan for around a year now. Staffing in general can be slightly stressful, simply due to the unpredictability of travelers and contracts from time to time. Overall, I have loved being a part of the Titan Team. My co workers are very supportive and always here to help me with any questions I might have. The sales manager is always willing to give advice where needed. Reading through comments on pages like this, I am honestly confused regarding the negative management comments. The CEO and whole management team has been extremely kind and helpful while I have been employed here. I plan on being at Titan for several more years and absolutely love working with my travelers! The only con is that it is a lot of sitting all day, I love being active so that is an adjustment for me! If you are a hard worker and self motivated, consider jumping on board. I definitely have had no regrets.

What is the best part of working at the company?
I loved working with Titan at my job at UPMC Jameson Hospital. Everything was great we worked well together. Staff at UPMC Jameson Hospital was glad to have help.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
I think most stressful is just trying to make sure your charting was kept up as you worked so that the PA/CRNP’s would have access to what they needed on their rounds.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Everyone had respect for everyone working with them and we would all help each other doing whatever was needed to provide the best service for the patients.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Go to work positive and happy and keeping positive attitude for your entire shift. I enjoyed working the Med surg unit! Busy but it was still okay because people were not mean and miserable.

Listen, I get it, you need a job and this one is hiring “multiple” candidates. You have no history of high end sales and cold calling but they’ll hire you anyway with a hope you fit their mold. You won’t though.. you’ll fill a void and soon learn that if you don’t fall into place you’ll be the next one out the door. There will be infighting amongst your own coworkers that you won’t realize until your numbers don’t fit the metrics and goals “they” set for you. Good luck is all I’ll say if you take this job, few will make it past 6 months and you will remember reading this and think that a former disgruntled incapable person wrote it. I assure you, that is not the case, you have far better options to choose from and are more valuable than what you’re thinking you are in this decision. But then again, you may just have to find out for yourself. I’m only trying to spare you the pain and fruitless effort of this season of your life. 

Titan Medical’s staff did a concerted team effort to make sure my needs were accommodated. If I had a problem, they listened and tried to fix it. Turn in your paperwork in a timely fashion and everything runs smoothly. When I say this company is thorough, I mean other team members were similarly as thorough as my assigned team leader. Three years later, I have their names saved in my phone and know their voices by heart if I were to speak to them. Their competitors would tell me @But their application is 40 pages long!” It isn’t. That is something to dissuade you from working with them. Lengthy? Yes. But, everything worth going through has a process. Nothing is handed to you. Do you want it done easy or done correctly? Ok then!

The pay rate was low, and they took advantage of 1st time travel nurses. Overcharged housing cost and made a promise to renew contract as the hospital wanted myself to stay. They didn't do there part, and had no alternate job placement for me. At which time I went with another company whom provided me better benefits overall. Titan took $250 out of my paycheck because I wasn't taking a flight home and needed to support myself and they couldn't give me any other offers. I jumped ship, and they punished me. $10/hr for LPN,  and overtime was rated at $12/hr. I wouldn't recommend this company. The only good thing they found was great housing. The support throughout your contract was unsupported. 

I was only an employee for 3 months. Honestly, I felt comfortable being there. Everyone looks forward to being there, and you don't find that in most work places. I feel the training could have went better, but that is my fault for not speaking up. I was in a training class that started with 12 and there are now only 2 remaining. I was not able to get a placement through 2 months on the phone, but felt I was making progress to getting there. I cannot say anything negative about my time there. I just wish I had more time to prove myself. My termination came as a shock, but that's Nebraska. They can let you go for whatever they feel like. Disappointed, because I truly felt they treat you like family there.

The Recruiters and Account Managers that work here are amazing! It's a standard sales environment. Despite working over 40 hours a week, it will be difficult to hit goals. As a recruiter, it's my goal to develop a relationship and to place the nurse in a facility within their preferred region. There are many times I'm unable to place a nurse because we simply do not have a need available. This causes the nurse to take an assignment at another agency, prevents me from making goals, and increases the amount of passive aggressive communications from leadership regarding "poor performance" which is really their lack of needs in disguise.

There really isn't.... Credentialing is probably the most time consuming but it's not really stressful. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work culture is what you make it you either love what you do or not.  If you love traveling this is the company for you!

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Awesome! You travel to where you want to go and work your days or evenings and enjoy a lifestyle that is good.

Titan Medical cares about there employees. Managers will meet with you and set personal goals and work with you every step of the way to meet those goals. They have food trucks at least once a month, they host field days for their employees, they have beer cart every Friday afternoon, and other fun events/activates. There is employees of all tenure at Titan from 20 years to a few months. Everyone is willing to help or answer questions when needed. If you're looking for place that is supportive, fun, and an overall great work environment Titan Medical is the place for you.
