Total medical is a decent nursing staffing agency.  It is neither a stand out, or a bad boy in the field.  You get what you sign up for, some facilities are better than others, and some facilities just stink.  

Management is adequate at TMPS, but do not expect much support if a facility has some sort of a problem with you one way or another.  

Newer nurses will think that agency nursing is the "cats meow" because of the higher wages, but rest assured, it is no walk in the park.  For all intents and purposes, benefits suck compared to regular facilities, and are often overpriced.  You may find yourself working in facilities you absolutely hate, but at least you are not committed unless you sign a contract. 

I have had a great experience with total medical. The staff have been very professional and attentive. I look forward to a long, happy career with this company. Total medical has a great staff an amazing work opportunities, hospital, nursing homes, home health and mental health positions to choose from you’ll love working there and the staff are always available day or night to help you or answer any questions you have they really care about you as a person not just as an employee I am new to total medical staffing but so far this has been the best experience. I have had it with a new company they are invested in my success in future flexible scheduling can work as much or as little as you want. This is a perfect job if you are in school or have children with busy schedules. 

Love Total Medical!!! It was my extra job, but I have recently stopped taking assignments as my daughter’s activities have taken priority. I could see myself going back when things slow down.  They always work with you and never made you feel guilty if you couldn’t work a shift.  When I was working regularly, you got raises after so many hours. If you work enough hours, you even got “vacation pay” based on your average hours. They even showed their appreciation for workers with special appreciation days. One of the other perks is you can even get next day pay!! Perfect if your in a bind!! I plan on going back!!

I have been with total medical on and off for over eight years. I have been here as a CNA and have worked my way to become a Nurse. TMPS has staffed me in wonderful places and I have gained so much knowledge working at the facilities that fit for me. Total medical has been very flexible, attentive  and professional in every area needed for me to excel in my career and to provide as a mother. I love that they have competitive pay,flexible payment options and 24/7 help just a phone call away! The staff is extremely selfless and will do anything they can to help.

I have been with the company for 8 months now, and just cannot believe the care and detailed training I have experienced with the company thus far. Both locations are great! The people and atmosphere feels like family. I had just graduated with my masters in healthcare administration with little healthcare background. They took me under their wing....showing me what it takes to grow as a manager in healthcare, and as my knowledge continues to grow, I look forward to being apart of the best healthcare company in Oklahoma!

When the people at a company were falsely accusing you of something you didn't do. There were companies you were working for that the agency sent you to work at.

Availability of work, pay was too low.

Working at the facility doing the work you were assigned to do. Patient care

Nothing really. They play favorites, and will try there best to find a way not to pay you vacation pay

Not being able to get enough hours they have a tendency to give shifts to people they like

Very uncomfortable, fake smiles

Never spent a day with them this is a staffing agency they send you to other jobs to work

I’ve been with Total Medical for over a year now and I’ve been very pleased. I’ve been appreciating working different psychiatric settings since that is my bent to use my skills and empathy. They have  workable and helpful and accommodating. They have a good set of boundaries they help you to stay accountable. When something has gone wrong, I can talk to someone who is supportive and understanding and make necessary adjustments. They are a great team working together. 

I loved working at Total Medical. I had my own office and worked from 7pm to 7am.  I worked hard to excel at my duties and we all worked as a team.

The hardest part was calling to find an available employee in the early morning hours for the early morning shifts I had to fill.

The easiest part of the job was the data entry and documentation.

No stress.  Supervisors I take care of questions or concerns proficiently.

Clean, comfortable and friendly

Since Total Medical is an agency I do not spend a lot of time in the office.
