False advertise ( same day pay ) continually over staffing meaning when I arrived at a clients home there was another chha already there working this happen to me 7 times and I got no apologies or gas compensation I have done live ins for them in remote areas and found clients living with no food I had to arrange for my check to be picked up by a friend and go food shopping with my own wages they were not concerned and I never got compensation, I've slept on a bathroom floor for 4 days at a nursing home in holmdal they wanted me to sleep next to the client in her hospital bed ( 0 ) privacy and I worked almost 24hrs a day major labor law violation and when the case was finally over they told me I owed them apology? ??? After speaking up about all this I was deemed a problem and black listed

I worked for towne a little over a year. It was the only placed that hired me dued to me just starting out as a CNA. The facility I worked at had various different units, and I gained a lot of experience. The co-workers seemed nice and we all worked together. The disadvantages of this job is no benefits meaning you will not get put into the union because the facilities aren't hiring and you will work and be under agency for as long as you choose to work there. In the meantime look for a better facility that pays more and give you benefits you will feel more appreciated of the work you do because you have to do everything in these facilities and towne nursing takes a lot of taxes out your check

Towne Nursing is a large company and has many opportunities to grow if you are willing to travel distances away from your home. Towne nursing is a facility that won't know your name until the paperwork has to be signed. the pay is fare if you can get overtime.
I work on an off-site and the management is terrible. They will inform you in the middle of the week that they want to cut your hours and then the next day tell you they want you to continue doing what you were doing we changed our minds. The hardest part of my job is the staff that undermines your work because of the position you hold. I have to say the most enjoyable time I have a Towne Nursing is the patients. They are more than happy to see you which makes the experience worthwhile.

Towne Nursing was the best place to get my foot in the door as a CNA. After I got my certificate no one was willing to hire me because I didn't have any experience but Towne placed me at a great nursing home right away! I applied online and was contacted to schedule an interview. At my interview, I brought whatever documents were required and less than a week later I was told about orientation! I've worked with Towne for over a year now and look forward to advancing my career and going to school to become an LPN. Since Towne places LPNs as well, I'm planning on staying with them.

All the environment was friendly. a typical day at work was receiving my assignment of clients to admit re-admit and staff performance to evaluate in the clients home. This information was received by telephone or e-mail.  I would then call the clients home and schedule visits to do an assessment and fill out forms. The hardest part of my job was scheduling clients on night shift., which limited the staff I could see in early morning. The most enjoyable was meeting different clients of different culture, and learning their customs.

It is an agency. The scheduling is nice. You can work full time or part time, but you must work the weekends and the weekends are flexible. The workload is enough to keep you busy during the day. At night it is a little more lay back, but you do get bored because there isn't a lot of things to do.

The hardest part of the job is trying to balance all of the patients and some of them daily soil their linen and you have to do an occupy bed. Changing soil diapers is not an easy task but you get use to it.

The most enjoyable part of the day is when you have accomplished everything and when you talk to the patients and help them feel better.

What is the best part of working at the company?
In all the years I worked for Towne, only one mistake was ever made on my pay and it was corrected within 24 hours of telling them. They even went beyond correcting it, since the mistake happened the same day my rent was due, when I told them I was assessed a late fee, they even took care of my late fee. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
I didn't experience any stressful parts working for Towne.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
You work at your own pace, as much or as little as you want

Check your paystubs. Their payroll department is horrible. Make sure your hours are ok, your rate of pay is the correct one and the dates of work are there too.
I have had checks missing $700+ and not just once. I had to call payroll every time I get paid to have them correct something.
It got to the point where I had to tell them I would call department of labor for unpaid wages.

You will get plenty of hours working for them and they're flexible. But just be aware of their payroll and make sure you get paid every cent you're owed!

Stay away. A lot of better Direct Hire companies to choose from. Their offers are rip off from their competitors but implementation is way too awful. 

I signed my contract after the orientation. I wish I didn’t. Experience not good from local recruiters (takes time to respond plus I realized they are not professional in person) to being deployed there. Awful experience at the facility and coordinator takes time to handle concerns. I want out!

I am very pleased with how the process was handled from start to finish. The team was professional, approachable, and always ready to clarify any questions I had. Communication was clear and consistent, which made it easy to understand each step of the application. The guidance provided during orientation and training also helped me feel more confident and prepared for the role. Overall, I had a positive experience and would recommend this opportunity to other nurses who are looking for a supportive and structured pathway into homecare.
