I worked here for two years, cross trained for everything as far as barbacking, cocktailing, and bartending. If you are a working parent, expect to be working every holiday and weekend, if you request off it may get approved, but they will even schedule you and let you know it’s your issue to deal with even if they approved it. Management can be helpful at times, but it is high school structured favoritism. It does not matter how dependable you are, how hard you work, or how much time you sacrifice to work here (because holiday season aka October through February are completely blacked out , and you will be working 60-70 hours a week minimum), it really only matters how far you are willing to bend your back to suck up to management. You may be overqualified and put in the work for a promotion, but someone that hasnt worked there in years can return as a top position and make your wait even longer for promotion. They also have a “Cap” on how many promotions they give so even if you work really hard, it wont matter! Barbacks are treated the worst out of all positions, you will be talked down to by other employees, managers, and customers. If you verbally state you are uncomfortable to management about an issue, they will blatantly ignore it. If you are one of the suck ups,, you will be able to get away with doing nothing all day while others will carry your work load. Get ready for a major drama fest, and constant chaos.

My job at traditions spirits involved cocktail waitressing within the Winstar Casino. The work was not hard, but it was physically taxing.  The hours weren't long, but they often involved walking 10+ miles in a shift.  As cocktails we were required to walk the casino floor of our section continually taking drink orders and delivering drinks to the gamblers at the card tables and machines. 
Management had the attitude of "all waitresses and bartenders are replaceable"  "a dime a dozen" was a sentiment expressed by management to the cocktail waitresses in more than one pre-shift meeting.  There were no benefits offered and waitresses worked for 2.13 and hour, on slow nights some not even taking home $20 in tips. Management within the Winstar branch of Traditions was much like a highschool clique, making special allowances, overlooking issues and showing a general preference for those they deemed "friends".
Rules and policies changed almost daily and were often only halfway enforced or fiercely enforced depending on the day.

I loved my job. But when you have Supervisors that aren't worth a plug nickel, it's hard to do a good job. One that has no backbone and won't stand up or just sits in office. The other all went to her head thinks she can do what she wants wether it's right or wrong. Including serving customers things they are allergic to. Hiding stuff you need or things that aren't suppose to be in facility from upper management. 
If you are a good employee they try to run you off and if your slow, thieves, or call in all time or late or don't have way do your job they go to bat for you. They cut your hours so you can't make it on one job unless your a bartender. That's why they can't keep help. Then cashier has to split tips with cooks which I never heard of. Cashier works hard to take orders, take food out, get drinks, bus tables, helps with dishes, ect.. Way to much on a cashier to have to split tips. But they think it's a privilege to get tips and consider it as a enhancement to your pay. What a joke!! Especially when all cashiers are not honest to put all tips in bucket. Things need to change around there to be able to keep help. 

Money is good ( new hires get paid more than me (plus for yall). They worked with my scheduling pretty good. The days you are scheduled, you may not get out on time.  There is one manager out of management that rocks it (I hope she know who she is when reading ). One that tries somewhat! The rest is a joke. What I believe I learned while working there, how to strive in chaos, disorganization, under staffed and underappreciated! Im not sure about the culture other than chaos and toxic! The hardest part of the day is dinner rush and your alone! I have also never worked with such a nasty customer base attitude and cleanlines.. They have lost  money and will treat you like dirt for it. Lots and lots of "I think i have points" and "here check my card" as they toss it to you. Also, about cleanlines they make you go throw trash! Yes dig in garbage for the stuff they toss like plates and silverware! The most enjoyable part of my day is when I leave!  People who worked before me leave, after me leave and it will keep happening. I have been there about 8 months and have had all I can.  They just need to be honest about the job. 

Pros:
-Fun co-workers
-Potential to make amazing money 
-Insurance offered at six months into employment 

Cons-
-Inexcusable lack of competence from management staff
-HR is on par with that sentiment
-Having to cover the slack of and split money with lazy co-workers
-Smokey atmosphere 
-The rudest customers on the planet. Seriously, these people can be ruthless no matter how nice you are.
-Management doesn’t help you out at all, just makes bad judgment calls 
-Constantly changing rules that are half way enforced, then usually forgotten about in a few weeks
-Clique like management that plays favorites, especially if they consider you more friends than boss to employee 
-Everyone is NOT treated equally 

I’ve met some amazing people that I had worked beside, and you really can make amazing money. But the decline in the clientele, paired with severely flawed management from top to bottom ruins all the potential good of working here.

I would come to work and make sure everyone was on time and ready to start work. I would take care of reports that needed to be done for that day. Would either make sure truck was put up correctly or place an order depending on the day. If we were busy would help out wherever needed whether in the FOH or BOH. I believe in not ever asking someone do something that I wouldn't do myself. If someone called out for their shift I would get someone to come in to cover their shift for them so the outlet had ample coverage. I started as a prep cook with the company and within 1 1/2 yrs made it to the position of GM. I never missed a day. My greatest enjoyment was helping others succeed in their jobs and advance in the company as I did. I got to meet some of the most interesting people at the casino. Having to work several 60+ weeks in a row was a little difficult.

Traditions doesn’t put their employees first like they try to beat into your head at training. The management is so awful that even the HR department cannot stand them. The casino itself raised the prices of alcohol however that negatively effects the tips you make. I wasn’t once not twice but three different times called into the office and treated disrespectfully by management before they received the full story and came to find out they were wrong each time. They didn’t even have enough respect for their employee “which comes before the customer or anyone” to apologize. The staff constantly talks about one another and makes it an extremely toxic environment to work in. I DO NOT RECOMMEND WORKING FOR THIS COMPANY. The very few good things about working for Traditions is the HR department itself is actually full of really nice people and the regulars you make while working there are amazing. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
It is a great place to work at kitchen 81 in Terral Oklahoma my coworkers managers and my general manager are great people to work with the customers talk about how great the food is we have the best food

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The most stressful part is when we run out of food and you have to tell the customer that were out of something that is how good our food is we run out of it

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It is a very down to earth place to eat and to work for we enjoy each and everybody people come in and tell us their stories about their lives and we enjoy every bit of it

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Enjoying the customer they may our day it wouldn't be a typical day without a customer telling us a joke or something that they have done in their life

They don't care about their employees. They make it very clear that they are an at will employer and can and will fire an employee for just about any reason. Oklahoma doesn't require companies to offer breaks, and Traditions tales full advantage of this. My typical 8 or 9 hour work day will consist of two fifteen minute breaks, if I'm lucky. If one expects to be promoted, one is expected to be there constantly. 

I’ve worked here going on 5 years now. It’s a fun fast pace environment. Being completely honest, I loved working here… at first. But over the years it’s hard for them to keep managers around. We have a completely new batch of managers.. they don’t care about their jobs, so why would they care about ours? Hateful, very short patients, flat out bullies, they don’t listen to their employees.
But you will meet some of the best co-workers! Welcoming, kind, empathetic. Thats why it’s hard to leave plus the money is great. 
But the managers need serious revision. No structure. Some rules enforced for others but not for everyone. 
They don’t care. It’s a shame. The old batch of managers ran a very tight ship. No chaos, any questions we had got answer. They worked with us. 
Not anymore though. It’s really unfortunate, they ran off everyone that’s been working here for a decade.
