A typical day is a good mix of busy and chill. I’ve learned how to juggle different tasks and work with awesome people. Management is easy to talk to, and they actually listen. The culture is laid-back but productive, and there’s always someone around to help when needed. The hardest part is keeping up when things get crazy, but the team always has your back. The best part is the fun vibe and how everyone works together to get things done.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Not having more support Sstaff in times needed most.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Friendly homey environment and assistance at some times greatly needed for the patient's care.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Staying on top of call lights for paients needing care and assistance to help with their daily needs and care plan by medical Dr.

The hardest part about working here is knowing and understanding the unwritten rules. You must be liked by management by doing exactly as the owner and HR/Accounting expect, even if it’s not clearly communicated. Do not question any task or you will be “on the outs”. It would help if you were a mind-reader. There are only a few men who work here and they do as they are told and keep their heads down and out of all the gossip. 

I learn to work with a lot of different types of people. Learn different techniques with different facilities. The hardest part of the job I would say is going to a facility and not knowing the residents that well and their routines. The most enjoyable part is helping those facilities fill a position so they are not working understaffed and taking care of people that need that help

If your willing to drive a little further than normal there are a lot of options, and they also have contracts available for some facilities. Being able to make your own schedule makes life so much easier when making appointments. The pay I feel is very good, and in most cases if you travel over 50 miles you get paid mileage, which helps with the current gas prices. Also all the account managers are very down to earth, pleasant, and genuinely seem to care about you.

The gratification gained through providing care in nursing home environments is something i never had with prior jobs and careers.  The flexibility to make my own schedule and the spontaneity of working in different towns and different facilities makes every day full of new experiences and opportunities to positively affect someone who truly needs our compassion and time. 

I asked for help as I felt was struggling during the beginning of my employment, instead of helping me, they fired me a week later stating I wasn’t meeting their expectations.  I was not given any warnings, or goals that were not being met. Just a letter of termination. Fired within the first month

The flexibility of hours and days works with my present schedule. The staff is a great team to work with and I have been with the company since November 2020 and I have had no issue or problem. There was one time I had a conflict in schedule but it worked out
