What is the best part of working at the company?
I enjoyed working with the company. It was a good job and I would work for them again.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The forge press' would break down sometimes and you fixed it if possible. Sometimes that was very stressful and aggrivating

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
I liked the work environment. Everybody had to work together as a team and get it done. Sometimes it was tough and sometimes it wasn't. I always enjoyed it though.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Go in and change my shoes, hot the floor and catch who you was replacing. They would tell you what, if any problems, the machine was giving that night. Start making valve's. On a good night you could run 6,000 to 7,000 valve's. Near the end of the night you would clean your station and get it ready for the next shift.

It's a great paying job with lots of perks, benefits, and plenty of overtime.  Their business is constantly growing.  Unfortunately, due to a big layoff, they haven't been able to replace their experienced workers.

This has caused a ripple effect where management is constantly changing, there is a huge amount of turnover on the production floor (the rumor is 1/10 that are hired actually stay for longer than 2 years).  The place is very dirty, even for an oil environment it is impossible to walk out clean.  The working conditions are harsh, and there is mandatory overtime resulting in only 1-2 days off each month.  It is very hard to balance out your work life with your personal life.  Once you are there, you realize most people don't want to be there, but can't leave the big paycheck.  You can't make this kind of money for this type of job anywhere else in the area.

No one can trust anyone. All floor personnel work 7 days a week and with that the pay is good. If they ever stop working 7 days it won’t be worth the stress to stay. The money is what’s good. It’s a shell of its former self. More experienced people talk about glory days under Ron Young. The current management is compatible to the French crown before the revolution. They have very little understanding of the true nature of the floor. The environment is dirty, hot and oily. During the summer it’s nearly unbearable during the day. Everyone has to watch there back because of the cut throat atmosphere. All that being said there are good people and you can make a lot of money and advance if you work very hard everyday sometimes 12 hours a day.

Work 7 days a week but pay is great. We just don't have enough people . During the weekend rotation it ends up being  1 or sometimes 2 maintenance  tech's covering the whole supply end of the plant. On too many occasions we don't have parts in stock we need to fix equipment . And now there is talk of starting a 12 hour rotation. This will allow more days off, but will cut overtime of those who depend on it. As far as management goes,we don't even have a regular maintenance supervisor on 2nd shift. After the last one was fired, they wouldn't hire another one.that was over a year ago.  And they havnt  replaced ANY of the maintenance techs we've lost  a lot of them have quit.

Meet with operator from prior shift to exchange information on how everything is running. Inspect line, get supplies,load machines. Check measurement for spec. inspect all parts for defects and pack, prepare for shipment. I learned a lot about minor maintenance of my machines and computer settings. Most co-workers were like family because we worked seven days a week 28 days straight to receive two days off a month, which was the hardest part it made it hard to have any family time. I took pride in keeping my machines running and getting good reports on my production and quality.

If I was able I'd give less than 1 star... it's hot and humid... oil everywhere... oil smoke from the machines that constantly produce smoke but they also catch on fire from time to time... the place is very poorly ventilated... not even sure if it has any way to get all that out of the plant...you get told in the interview that unless you accept pretty much 7 days a week they won't take you serious or hire you on... if you are a temp like I was you will get let go by a message saying your a great worker but just not a good fot for usev... yet wasn't warned or had any clue as to what I did wrong... 

Forging valves is easy it's dirty you have to fix a lot of things yourself so it's really hands on pay is great but it is 7 days a week but you get used to it the only office people that actually do try to help you is your immediate supervisor it's a joke once it goes above them they will fire you for listening to earbuds one time and giving someone a ride on your vehicle when it's not in there safety policy's or wasn't until they fired me so they changed the rules and upper management doesn't care that you are running 2 presses all you are is a number 

They get your hopes up, bring you in, then tell you you have to go through a temp agency instead. They will try to make you feel less than adequate. They will “try” to help you, but it blows up in your face. They’re over all a very poor company to work for and I would stay away unless you’re okay with being treated less than good enough. They lie about your pay. Hints why they try to put you through a temp agency. So they don’t have to pay you as much. And I hope these sorry a** people learn how to communicate.

I currently work here. No more overtime. Theyr customers ran away and they havent given a raise to anyone but management in three years. They berate their employees but wont set out proper instructions. If you know how to do your job someone who doesnt will come along and tell u how to do it. Ppe is hard to access and find, iv had to bring my own nitrile gloves before.

1. HR doesn't care for you or your success within the company
2. If you want a life outside work, this ain't for you 
3. They need money you get incentives cut.
4. There is no communication between shifts or HR for that matter
5. Getting off of an off shift is nearing on impossible. 
6. Furthering your way down a career path goes here to perish.
I had heard so much good about this company about how it was the place to work, but I was woefully mistaken.
