The leadership of the company maintains that a safety and people first focus will result in profitability and long term success. Managers challenge employees to act as owners in the sense that the company success is up to all of us - which I think is great and makes me a more engaged employee. The people strategy is truly people first and the employee engagement activities and focus on safety and a challenging, engaging, rewarding and fun culture was a pleasant surprise for an industry historically viewed as the exact opposite.

UEC is a good company to work for overall, there have been some ups and downs over the years but what company does not have that. Compensation is good if you are willing to put in the time and effort. Sometimes there is alot of overtime and sometimes its a straight 40 hour week just depending on how much work there is. It can be hard work but its honest work and if your willing to work hard you will get ahead. 

UEC is a great place to work, I enjoy working on teams with experienced veterans in the air compression and gas packaging business with years of tenure. Culture has made a major shift in a positive direction under new management. Work life balance is flexible, own your responsibilities and meet your targets and numbers and PTO is generous. Compensation has been up and down throughout recent events but overall I recommend UEC as a great place to work with even greater people. 

the start of the job gives training on compressor operation and repair. The job has travel and expenses paid with outings with the company, the job challenges you  with changing challenges and changing scenery. the management of the company is in change currently with a new owner taking over in the last four years making for unknown futures at hand.

After being here for a year, I couldnt be happier to leave. The shop is filled with great people and it's about the only place in Denver that will pay a living wage at start. On the downside, that's the only upside. They work you so much that you never really see your family much and expect Saturdays on top of it (sundays and Saturdays if your a painter). Work is brainless if you know math.

Working at UECompression has been a great experience since day one.  The leadership is very easy to talk to and work environment is friendly.  Employees are being recognized for achievements like birthdays and work anniversaries.  The pay is very fair and competitive to the area with good benefits.  Safety is top priority and important to everyone.

fun and clean place to work, very safety oriented and lots of safety trainings, Good benefits and work environment. Only thing is they have some employees that think they are the owners of the company and treat other with no respect.

Great equipment, employee culture is awesome!  Open door communication with management.  Engineering staff is extremely supportive.  The engineering team is the most knowledgeable team I've worked with.

Company started out ok but after bought and sold several time, management went down hill.  Sales in 2019 are way down from previous years with over 20% of workforce laid off.

I don't want to write one but I guess indeed is forcing me to write one or I cant continue.place could be better be the job itself was good work  and the your coworkers are super helpful
