I would strongly encourage job seekers to carefully consider other opportunities before applying here. Unfortunately, my experience with this company was very disappointing.

There appear to be significant issues at multiple levels of management, from senior leadership down to supervisors. Workplace policies regarding breaks and lunches were not consistently followed. Scheduled breaks were sometimes delayed, and lunch periods were occasionally pushed close to the end of an eight-hour shift, making it difficult to maintain employee well-being.

In addition, sales expectations—particularly for mobile products—were emphasized, but there was a lack of transparency regarding incentive payouts. Clear breakdowns or regular updates about earned incentives were not consistently provided, which created confusion and frustration.

I also found the process for addressing employee concerns to be ineffective. In my experience, formal complaints did not receive timely or adequate attention.

Overall, my experience did not meet expectations in terms of management support, transparency, and adherence to fair workplace practices. I hope the company takes meaningful steps to improve these areas for current and future employees.

Working as a customer service representative was one of the most mentally exhausting experiences l've had.
The workload was relentless-back-to-back calls all day with angry, frustrated customers and zero breathing room. It felt like I was constantly under pressure with no support.
The work environment was toxic and demoralizing.
Management was extremely micromanaging, and favoritism was blatant. Raises were not based on performance, but on whether management personally liked you. I was even denied a $0.50 raise because my manager felt I didn't deserve it - no explanation, no clear criteria, just a personal opinion. (In this economy) That moment alone showed how unprofessional and subjective the leadership was.
There was also a complete lack of recognition. No matter how hard you worked, it was always about what you were doing wrong. You were constantly criticized, but rarely, if ever, thanked or acknowledged for your efforts. Growth opportunities were nonexistent, and any sense of empowerment was crushed by senior leadership, who acted more like dictators than mentors-some couldn't even answer basic job related questions. which made things even more frustrating.
Instead of uplifting the team, they contributed to a culture that made employees feel small and disposable.
This job is far from easy, and unfortunately, the lack of respect, support, and growth made it a negative experience overall. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a healthy or fulfilling work environment.

The interview process seemed a little easy and shady for me...I just needed the job. The first 2ish weeks are great, you sit in a classroom and learn. The trainers are great after that you start taking calls with a SME (someone that hears and directs your calls sitting right next to you) Some SMEs are better at teaching than others. Then you take a test day and you're supposed to take calls all day on your own. If the company that Glow Touch works for (one is Jewelers Mutual) likes how you speak with their clients then you pass - if they don't like how you speak, you fail and have another try in a few days. 

The pay is good. The benefit cards roll in quickly. But a doctor's note won't help unless the doc said you could have 3 days...you better not do that during the training program though...it really counts against you.  The head honcho on the floor is nice until you inconvenience her.  You get 15 minute breaks and 30 min lunch. Don't leave the property during your break, if management finds out you get in trouble. The micromanaging  on your calls - it hurts, you can't hang up when you're disrespected. Holds can only be 3 min. You have to talk constantly or apologize for your silence when you're trying to read the 'One Note' (service guide) You have to give "white glove service", go the extra mile but don't make it a long phone call. Oh, and if the customer is happy with your service at the end of the day - it doesn't matter. QA and Jewelers Mutual will have a reason to be unhappy. 

From the president down to operations and administrative leadership, management lacks empathy, accountability, and effectiveness. There is no effort to retain talent or address employee burnout. Leadership is more concerned with trivial matters than with addressing the actual dysfunction happening around them.

Feedback is ignored, turnover is constant, and morale is non-existent. Some of the few positive reviews online are from current employees pressured into giving favorable ratings. The president’s low approval rating (37%) accurately reflects the complete lack of trust or respect staff have toward company leadership. UnifyCX could have been a great company — but its toxic leadership, poor conditions, and consistent disregard for employee well-being have destroyed its potential. My time here was filled with stress and disappointment. If you're looking for stability, respect, or any kind of meaningful career development, avoid this place at all costs.


I was really excited to work here and I honestly didn't mind the short lunch period. Although, the problems began when the training took place a week in. They gave me equipment that has problems, specifically the Micro PC, where it shuts off just by motion alone. I asked to see if they could change it, but it took 2 weeks to change the pc, where most of my training is interfered. Although, what drew the line for me was how the calls took place and rating. I understand the importance of giving the best customer service and be professional in the calls, but when you get marked for simply asking the customer a question to make sure the details are correct. That's a red flag. Heck, I even followed the advice the trainers offered to me and yet it negatively affects my score. It was demoralizing because I am trying my best, but they don't seem to be satisfied even with the advice they given. The worst thing they did is that they let me go a DAY before the testing process for nesting. Despite showing up on time and giving my 110% work ethic, they didn't even give me a chance to show that I can do the work...

If you work for an identity monitoring company through Glowtouch/Unify Cx like i do. You also get monitoring for you and your family for free.  With so much fraud these days this is an awesome benefit. It is very flexible and easy to move up if you want to. There are lots of opportunities to get bonuses with the amount of sales you make.  I do not mind it too much that I may be  asked to update my passwords  more  often than other jobs require or that i have to learn a new system because we are in the business of protecting people's identity.  We have to keep the company safe from hackers. The best thing about working for this company are the praises you get not only from the higher ups for doing a great job but also from so many customers.

Honestly this job is the worst job I’ve ever had. They pay me 16.50 while everyone else is getting paid 18$ and I’m not the only one. Also , I’ve caught management talking bad about me in their own chat before realizing I was in it. They don’t take doctors notes. They don’t have maturity leave. They don’t have bereavement. They don’t have Covid leave. It’s pretty much show up or get fired.
You can’t be away from desk more than 5 mins a day or you get written up. If you go over your breaks over 10 mins a week you get written up. 
Your lunch is 30 mins you get 2 15 mins breaks.
It’s not the best company but if you need a job right away it’s okay they also micromanage so they watch your desk top and everything you do. 

I worked at the San Antonio location and let me just say I’ve worked in a few call centers and this was THE WORST. The trainers treated you like a child when they were younger then most of us in the class. Telling adults to be on their best behavior. It’s way to much work for what they are paying. Only 30 minute lunches. The staff was very inappropriate they would be screaming and cussing in the break room. Break room and kitchen area was always nasty and unclean. The only good thing was I could tell the managers were trying to make things better and having a good work environment but you can only do so much when you’re paying 16.50. 

This company wants you to break their back for them but they don’t budge for you. My paychecks and other colleagues paychecks were always short… especially with the way they got rid of the HR payroll person. It is like high school and unless you’re a favorite don’t expect to get perks. There’s no pay raises, yearly reviews, coachings are non existent. 

If you need a paycheck quick, get the OT and go. Don’t expect a ROI for the time you put in. They cater to people who are their favorites. Doesn’t matter your work ethic, knowledge. 

R Department in San Antonio is very unprofessional, And unpleasant to speak and lack empathy. They are very quick to write ups & has a very toxic work environment. 
No sick days allowed. No doctors note accepted. if on a rare occasion they take the doctors note Thell assume its fake. But in return you must take 3 mandatory days of for sick leave, you'll still get point add to ur adherence.
