Uplift screams new in the field. After you're hired you go through 2 days worth of "training". Which boils down to an hour spread out between two days. You are not given any policy or procedure documents, but throughout the time working you'll get sporadic e-mails from management reminding you about the policies in place and to adopt them accordingly. 

When you first start you're given clients to call and set up appointments, do an intake, assessment, and begin treating. Essentially setting up your own schedule and hours. It's great in theory, until 62% of your client per week cancel or no show. Which is exhausting to try to fill your schedule again and squeezing people in. 

Many of the office staff are helpful and friendly. I wish I knew who they were or their title, we are not given a list of contacts to assist us with navigating our company. I have only seen in passing some coworkers, we filter in and out of the office when we have in-person appointments. Which we stay in our offices during that time, so no real contact. One person isn't genuine or nice and I avoid them if I can. 

Day to day is mostly telehealth or in-person. The clients are mostly nice and are seeking help. I wish it was more stable of income to work with them. When you get the clients who really want to help themselves it is uplifting. They listen to you and you can see the changes they are trying to make. 

In sum, it's nice to make your own schedule and hours. It's hard when you can't rely on it to be stable income. 

Case Load isn't high.
Staff members are understanding and caring.
Clients are respectful.
Supervisors are always make themselves available by phone if needed.
