What is the best part of working at the company?
Being so close to home. I lived less than a mile from the hospital. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Working with employees that seemed to have a hard time getting along with each other.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The hospital is great at caring for others overall. I’ve been a patient at the ER and been hospitalized there and have no complaints at all but the Geri-psych unit is very different. Most patients were treated very well there on that unit where I worked. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I enjoyed having my own office. I enjoyed how the PR coordinator always had events or raffles planned. I liked having therapy time with the patients in the am documentation time, break for lunch and about the same in the afternoon.

I worked 8-5 most days and managed the Materials Management Department. My manager was excellent and let me use my experience and knowledge to improve the department and make if more successful and efficient. My co workers were outstanding for the most part. The most difficult part of the job was dealing with the very few underachievers that were employed there. The most enjoyable part of my job was working with my team in my department. They are excellent people and employees and I saw them grow into a real team working together and relying on and trusting each other.

My work hours and days changed based my job duties. There were days that I ordered supplies. Some days I stocked supplies in the medication Pyxis. On other days I delivered medications to the patient care areas. I also trained new employees. I learned about purchasing and receiving, leadership skills, and respecting other employees. My manager was very flexible with my work schedule.  I enjoyed my job and the flexibility, I can't recall any difficulty with my job. There was some heavy lifting, but I am very fit and work-out, so this was not an issue.

I stressed about work when I wasn't even at work.
The training and scheduling is disorganized.
They always agree on a certain schedule with every employee upon hiring, but change it to something else after on-boarding.
Management does not keep promises or abide by what was agreed upon when first getting hired on.
Yes, they pay well, but they have to. They're out in the middle of nowhere. 
The work-life balance is debilitating. I wish management would understand that we are human and we have lives outside of work.
I wish hospital administration knew that the laboratory can't be ran by just anyone. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
Phenomenal small town hospital - compassionate smart caring staff

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Minimally stressful even with surveyors on horizon 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Excellent- enthusiastic staff willing and appreciative of educational opportunities 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Good from morning report to shift end report off

Working at this facility was a pleasure, but there was not a lot of growth. On a day to day loaded patient's demographic information, billing, admitted/discharged patients, and also was their financial counselor. It was a pretty laid back job, but at times you had the difficult patients whom were easy to calm down throughout the process. The most enjoyable part about working at Upson Regional Medical Center, was servicing my patients, and making sure that they received the care needed.

My patients and giving them the quality care they deserve.

My department head was very unprofessional and lacked a sense of character. towards staff members.

The work environment is great and culture is outstanding.

Very energetic and fast paced.

I enjoyed working at this place.Everyone was very helpful  to me.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
I didn't like the fact that one of the doctors didn't have enough patience  with me during my training  ad a GI  Tech

The work environment  is very neat and clean and the nurses  help one another.

Community hospital , working there feels like part of family

Bad management , short staffed

Small hospital that overextends it’s resources by taking on too many side businesses 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Nice clean working environment

I really enjoyed working here. It was a great experience that taught me a lot and also helped me understand what a true family work environment felt like. Almost everyone is nice and do what they can to help each other. The pay was good being that it was my first time in a hospital setting and the hours were great. I was able to advance in my position as promised.
