Valley Forge Medical Center is the best organization I've ever worked for, without question. I'm a recovering addict with a second chance at a respectable life, and now, I also get to be part of other addicts journeys to recover. If It wasn't for Valley Forge, I wouldn't have a job that I enjoyed and can be proud of as well. In addition to being a recovering addict, I am also a Valley Forge Alumni. The staff at VF were kind, compassionate, and helpful  people when I came through their program as a patient, and that hasn't changed one bit since I've started working here. Many of the wonderful CRS's and RA's in Peer Support that were in my current position when I was a patient and who helped me tremendously in my early recovery, have since been promoted to elevated roles in Valley Forge's team of great staff. Since then, they've hired some new peer support staff members who are also wonderful, caring people and I'm proud to be one of them. I wouldn't trade my job for anything, and for anyone suffering from addiction, especially those with medical needs, I highly recommend Valley Forge over any place else. The reason is because Thoroughness, Kindness, and professionalism are of utmost importance when caring for those in active addiction, and also patients physical and mental health needs. 

Working as a Registered Nurse at Valley Forge Medical Center, specializing in the treatment of medically complex drug and alcohol patients, has been an immensely rewarding journey. While the patient population is challenging at times, this aspect adds depth to the work we do. It has not only facilitated my professional growth but also nurtured a sense of family among the staff. Each day presents new challenges, allowing me to expand my knowledge and skills in ways I couldn't have imagined. The impact of our work on patients' lives is deeply fulfilling, and the patient-centered care philosophy aligns perfectly with my values as a nurse. Valley Forge Medical Center's commitment to continuous learning, cutting-edge facilities, and unwavering support for its staff make it an ideal place for those seeking a fulfilling career in nursing and a profound opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of medically complex patients.

I loved working at VFMC. A majority of the staff there treats everyone as family and genuinely cares for one another and for the patients. There are some outliers, but this is usually the case for any place you go to work. My immediate supervisors were very understanding, flexible and easy to talk to. 

Management was supportive but sometimes hard to get ahold of. The company was going through a change in owners in addition to the initial impact of COVID-19 when I began working there. 

The biggest downfalls of this job and company, in my opinion, are the response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the amount of paperwork counselors are expected to complete each week. Otherwise, as I said, fantastic place to work with some of the best colleagues you’d ever hope to meet.

I am happy I started working at Valley Forge Medical Center. If it wasn’t for the head recruiter I might not have come on board.  She was very informative about the hospital, the patients and the work environment. She spent a lot of time talking to me and answering my questions. She was very helpful and professional and made me feel confident I would fit in well with the other staff. She was right, the staff are easy to get along with, very helpful and understanding with new employees. Although there are some challenges like in any environment, the staff at Valley Forge Medical Center really work together to get the job done . Culture holds significant importance as it impacts the work that we do, so having a team that works well together makes the job feel a lot less stressful. 

Working at Valley forge has been an incredible experience from start to finish. The company truly values its employees and provides a supportive, inclusive, and growth-oriented environment. Management is approachable and genuinely cares about both professional and personal development.

The team culture is collaborative everyone works together to achieve common goals while celebrating individual strengths. I’ve learned so much and gained valuable skills that have helped me grow in my career.

Work-life balance is respected, and the company offers flexibility that makes it easy to stay motivated and productive. The benefits and opportunities for advancement are also impressive.

Valley Forge Medical Center have so many good things; is hard to mention all here, however, I think the most that matters when you are looking for a new job are Growth, culture, opportunities for development and of course compensations.
I can talk about how I have  grown since starting working at VFMC, I completed so many projects I'm proud of, and I can't wait for areas I  like to grow in the future to come. I strongly believe there is a potential for many professional developments here. Also, the colleagues I work with are phenomenal. We all help each other everyday to meet the goals to care for our patients. Definitely a workplace to consider and I highly recommended.

As a registered nurse at Valley Forge Medical Center for the past three years;  I can confidently say that it has been an incredibly fulfilling and rewarding experience.  Nursing, as we all know, can be an emotionally and physically demanding profession, but the support and camaraderie I've found here have made all the difference.
One of the highlights of Valley Forge Medical Center is the incredible support system in place for its nursing staff.  From day one, I felt like a valued member of the team, and my colleagues have always been ready to lend a helping hand or offer guidance when needed. The teamwork and collaboration among the nursing staff, doctors, and other healthcare professionals are truly remarkable. It's refreshing to work in an environment where everyone is committed to delivering the best possible care to our patients.


Working as a counselor at Valley Forge Medical Center has been the most rewarding experience of my career. I have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of clients and help them through some of the most challenging times in their lives. It is truly inspiring to see their progress and know that I am making a difference.

I am also grateful for the supportive team at Valley Forge Medical Center. My colleagues are knowledgeable, compassionate, and always willing to help. I feel like I am part of a family here, and we all share a common goal of providing the best possible care for our clients.

Very disorganized your pay is constantly going to be messed with policies are constantly going to change. There are no paid holidays or PTO like they promised medication errors you will be one of the only people on the floor at a time there aren’t supervisors and RNs when they’re supposed to be upper management promises a lot with sweet talking, but does nothing to change their actions. You will be retaliated against when you resign your position. They then try to terminate you I would never work here again I would never send a family member and need here. There’s mold everywhere in the building only one working water machine . I have pictures to prove it. DONT COME HERE
