Vantage Group was a great company!  I wore many hats there. I began as the Receptionist/Administrative Assistant, was later promoted to Office Manager, and then later promoted to HR Manager. I learned so much at VANTAGE GROUP (Word, Excel , Access, Powerpoint, EDI, HR, Recruiting/Hiring, etc). The leadership at VANTAGE GROUP remained solid throughout my tenure there and they were always kind, compassionate, and hard-working. The President of the company had a philosophy that "a happy employee, is a hard-working employee", so he always sought ways to keep his employees happy. My co-workers were wonderful people and most were very hard-working people. The hardest part of the job, was finding new and creative ways to keep morale up during tough economic times, chasing point of sale for the company, and having terminate employees. The most enjoyable part of the job was the employee relations, putting together "Fun At Work" month, and building the HR of the company from the ground up.

I enjoy working with the clients and supportive staff at Vantage Group.  The management is very supportive of the staff and very fair.  A typical day at work consists of picking up clients at their homes and transporting them to day program and then taking them out on outings to enhance their quality of life.  Also taking care of their personal needs and assisting them in all areas including bathroom assistance.  The culture of the workplace is great coworkers are very supportive of each other as well as management.  There really is not a hard part to this job unless a client becomes unruly and we need to do behavior management.  The most enjoyable part of the job is taking the clients out on outings and getting to see their reaction and interaction with other community members.

Right now Vantage is going through a transition with Strategic Planning, policies and procedures, and leadership and it has caused tension between the administrative side and the programs and services side.  The culture is pretty good, but could use work in terms of professionalism among the direct care staff.

The most enjoyable part of the job is working with the individuals we serve!  Making a difference in their lives in any way is amazing.  It feels great to see the individuals reach their goals or become more independent in some way.

Vantage is a good company to work for, they provide flexible hours and our bcba's are wonderful. taking clients into the commmunity to work on life skills. Working on the clients ip plan to get he or she to reach their goals. i work well with families to implement assessment plans. the culture in the work place seems to be laid back and professional.

Vantage Deluxe World Travel is a well-respected tour operator with over 25 years of experience in creating high-quality yet affordable travel programs for mature travelers. Vantage creates upscale escorted tours to a variety of destinations all over the world, including Canada, Europe, Russia, China, Latin America, even Iceland.

I held an auditing internship with Vantage Group Inc. for about 8 months.  Over that time, I was exposed to various auditing and research projects.  The internship gave me great real world experience and allowed me a chance to improve on my organizational skills, as well as presenting data to my supervisor in an easy to read format.

I worked at Vantage for many many years. Managment in general is disorganized and they did not try hard enough to keep good employees! I was always under staffed and overworked! I’ve been in the human service field for over 15 years! This was by far the worst company I ever worked for!! Not worth the pay or your time!!

The work environment was fun, working  with the adults with disabilities was rewarding.  The coworkers I had worked collaboratively together to come up with ideas for activities to do with the clients.

I served as an operations manager over the  accounting department and various staff.  I worked directly with project managers and upper level management.  

Work also involved hiring, event planning and marketing.

Vantage and it's administration was great, up until i chose to depart. Vantage is not a long term job, while they and families may expect that. My suggestion to future employees would be to make this a stepping stone in your career and make that known from the beginning.
