The outside of the building looked beautiful, but my viewpoint changed when I went inside. That place was so filthy on the inside and quite disturbing. They are in need of REAL housekeeping if they have not already done so. The management at that facility is extremely poor. There were many problems and issues that either wouldn't get resolved or took forever to do so. Management pretends to care about their employees when in reality they do not. It is a messy place to work and there was a lot of gossip and hearsay. I do not see how there is room for advancement or growth there at all. They will overwork you to the bone with minimal pay! Also, they will bring in residents that would not be identified as needing just "assistance" when in fact they need Maximum Assistance (total care) because it's all about the $$. I would not recommend working at this facility and I would encourage you to find a place that truly cares for its residents and employees because as far as I am concerned this place does not!

A typical day at work for me is sitting in a chair a majority of the day, answering phone calls and working on tours, customer service, helping families find an appropriate home for their loved ones. Iv learned that families are not informed on senior living options available for their loved ones. The work place culture i believe is great. The servers, personal assistants, and house keepers are amazing groups and their super easy to work with and communicate to. The hardest part of the job is getting people here and involved. The most enjoyable part of my job is that i know im helping other people.

This is not "assisted living" it very much feels like long term care. Pay is low for the amount of work you have to do. The residential aides are doing the same thing as the CNA's. Always short staffed, and staff to resident ratio is unfair. Management does not care for employees the way that they should, otherwise it would be an okay place to work. You will meet good people, but it is such a terrible place to work. There is no reason why yall will have literally one person on the schedule on night shift in a 4 story building! 

Management could care less if there’s one CNA for all 4 floors,they don’t come and help you when short staffed, Low pay, new employees got raises and lead positions after management ran all their good, dedicated senior workers off, management is all about appearance and money nothing else, treat their loyal employees like they’re nothing but expect them to cover shifts and nobody there has any idea how to run the facility nor do they know the residents how they should. 

We don’t get paid enough for what we do. Working here is a waste of time and pointless. They like to over work you but only want to pay you $12. Night shift gets paid $15 to go nothing. Morning shift ? We bathe them feed them take them to the bathroom etc literally have to look after them for 8-12 hours and only get $12. We barely get to take breaks because it’s always something or we’re short staffed 

Vantage Pointe has friendly staff and great management. It is a very beautiful, safe community. Everyone was very helpful to train me. I definitely recommend working here especially if you have a heart for the elderly!

I have loved working here, I know all of the residents by name. They feel like family. I feel like all the staff I work with truly care about the residents. Management is good and we have good benefits.

Residents make it worth it. Can get a little crazy but is to be expected in healthcare. Always learning something. It's like getting to spend the day with extra grandparents.

New Management company that really cares. Came in and made immediate changed to better the building and staff for the residents. The residents are the best part of the job.
