A Typical Day at Work
A typical day as an AT&T door-to-door salesman starts with a team meeting where goals, promotions, and territory assignments are reviewed. After that, most of the day is spent walking neighborhoods, knocking on doors, and talking to homeowners about AT&T services. The workday involves a lot of standing, walking, and repeating the same pitch while adapting it to different personalities. Some days are productive and rewarding, while others involve long hours with very few successful conversations.

What I Believe I Learned
This job taught me strong communication and interpersonal skills. I learned how to handle rejection, think quickly on my feet, and read people’s reactions. It also helped me build confidence, persistence, and resilience, especially when dealing with difficult or uninterested customers. Time management and self-motivation were also important skills I developed.

Management
Management is very goal-driven and focused heavily on sales numbers. Some managers are supportive and provide coaching and encouragement, while others can feel more pressure-oriented. Expectations are clearly set, but performance is constantly monitored, which can feel stressful at times. Success often depends on the quality of leadership within your specific team.

Workplace Culture
The workplace culture is competitive and fast-paced. There is a strong emphasis on results, which can motivate high performers but may feel overwhelming for others. Team energy is often high, with encouragement and recognition for top sellers, but the environment can also feel repetitive and mentally draining due to constant rejection.

The Hardest Part of the Job
The hardest part of the job is dealing with frequent rejection and maintaining motivation throughout the day. Weather conditions, long hours on foot, and unresponsive or frustrated homeowners add to the challenge. Staying positive after multiple unsuccessful interactions requires mental toughness.

The Most Enjoyable Part of the Job
The most enjoyable part of the job is closing a sale and knowing your effort paid off. Positive interactions with customers who genuinely benefit from the service can be very rewarding. The job also provides a sense of independence and accomplishment, especially when personal sales goals are met.

The office has great energy and great leadership. Plenty of opportunity for advancement. Work can be very challenging but will pay off.  

Quick advancement to leadership by taking action and learning. 

Start off door knocking no matter the weather but you can make 4X your pay from your last job in just 1 week.

The culture in the office is amazing everyone wants you to succeed and helps you get to where you wanna be. I can’t. imagine working another job now the opportunity that you get is once in a life time and i’m so happy that i took it and it’s worth the time i’m putting in.

i love the support, every morning practices, good energize and positive vibes. environment is fun and constant care for each other. i definitely love how everyone supports your achievements. 

The management and culture is great, everyone in office is goal oriented so it makes the environment feel more welcoming because you have like minded colleagues. And that’s probably the most enjoyable part is watching others around you succeed. 


Before starting I was super hesitant with it being commission based, but as long as you push yourself and believe in your potential, you’re set.  Being surrounded by people who wanna see you win and succeed is always an extra boost. Great opportunity for anyone looking to change their future!

It's an mlm based off you training others and getting a percentage of their sales to make up your salary. Not a good job to hold down. Money isn't consistent and you have to hope you make a sale.  

I had a great experience working here. The environment was professional, supportive, and well-organized. I gained valuable skills and experience that will benefit me throughout my career. I appreciate the opportunities for growth and the team I worked with.

Very weird, very cult like, it’s all commission based 11-830 Monday -Saturday, most of the time the employees just sit in the car and smoke,  they aren’t good at communication, I wouldn’t recommend this job
