 As a nurse at VitalCheck Wellness for over two years, I've had a consistently positive experience that has exceeded my initial expectations. Management is approachable and genuinely cares about both staff and patient well-being, regularly soliciting feedback to improve our services and work conditions. We have access to state-of-the-art systems and ongoing training opportunities, which are important l for maintaining high standards of care and personal career growth.

One of the highlights of working here has been the interdisciplinary teamwork. Whether coordinating care with physicians, dietitians, or physical therapists, there's a shared commitment to providing the best possible outcomes for our patients. 

Unfortunately for the employees and contractors of this company, the person running it does not have a clear vision or trust in the people that work for him. This is very much a start-up environment and is run bare-boned. There is no structure within the company and you live in a state of uncertainty about your job security which is based on the CEO's mood.  There is a new target every week.  Mistakes rarely allow for re-education and coaching but often lead to termination which creates a very unhealthy and unhappy workplace culture. The clinical and internal team work great together since they are in a constant state of crisis and chaos (is this trauma bonding?). The tech team is outstanding. If you have a medical license, you will spend a lot of your time advocating for yourself and protecting your license.  

VitalCheck is a structured environment with clear expectations and measurable goals. At the same time, the company is actively developing and improving operations workflows—often by leveraging newer technologies and automation—so the work includes both executing within existing processes and helping build what comes next.
If you’re a self-starter who enjoys operating in a fast-paced setting, thinking on your feet, and rolling up your sleeves to bring new tools and workflows into production, it’s a strong fit. The compensation is competitive and reflects the level of ownership. If you prefer a role where everything is already fully standardized and change is minimal, it may not be for you.

Highly demanding CEO, micro-managing, and lack of clear direction in company's mission and vision. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Respectful work work environment and team work culture. However, high turnover rate of good employees due to constant changes to workflows, policies, and contracts with clients. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Team meetings to address workflow updates, changes, and issues. Implement & enforcing workflows, and managing clinical staff providing services to clients.

This is a mission driven company, which is all about making healthcare services to people in workplaces and within the community. We serve people from all walks of life and a a vaccination nurse it has been incredibly rewarding to serve teachers, people in corporations, people working in factories and generally people who are otherwise too busy to obtain care.

This is a great place to work, it's a fast-moving exciting environment with great people. There are many opportunities to learn new clinical skills and also to contribute ideas as to how to keep improving services and processes. 

Clinically I feel supported by management, which is physician led. I am actively asking for my a promotion. 

This is a great work environment - the company's mission is to make healthcare more acccessible, and broadly speaking the company attracts a lot of smart hardworking people who want to make a difference and to succeed.
