- Top leadership does not see the toxicity of their middle management & directors.  
- If you bring up concerns within a department that need addressing, you're labeled as a problem and very clearly targeted.   
- If you aren't a part of the "clique" you aren't going to succeed. Any feedback provided for improvement will be disregarded. 
 -They don't have the right people in the right positions to grow successfully. The talent isn't being utilized correctly, resulting in poor implementation of systems and projects taking much longer to cross the finish line (if they get there). The protection of employees due to being "family" or "long-time friends" is very obvious and reducing the impact of those relationships has been negligible. 
 -Employees often worked on personal projects such as their wedding invites or local event flyers during work hours, then put in paid OT to get their actual work done, or delayed the finishing of work related materials due to the personal projects and would push blame on others.  
 -It was often complimented when an employee with poor time management skills worked until midnight to complete work, rather than addressing the root of the problem.

Advice to Management
Really open your eyes and look at the talent in front of you and where they should be positioned to best help the growth of the company. Get a true understanding of the family/friend dynamic within the business, because it's hurting the company growth by not having the right people pushing the business forward. Your middle management and director level employees aren't providing you with the full picture.

The best part of working here was the coworkers. There are a lot of hardworking people who genuinely care, but unfortunately that was not enough to make it a good work environment.

In my experience, leadership was inconsistent, communication was poor and employee feedback rarely seemed to lead to meaningful change. There was a lot of talk about company culture, collaboration and valuing employees, but the day-to-day experience did not match that.

The workload became unsustainable, especially as responsibilities continued to grow without the support, resources or recognition to match. It often felt like being good at your job just meant more work would be added to your plate. Instead of feeling encouraged or appreciated, I often felt burned out, frustrated and undervalued.

Morale was low, turnover was noticeable and it felt like leadership either did not understand the issues or was not willing to address them in a meaningful way. Growth opportunities also felt limited and inconsistent.

Since leaving, I’ve realized how much it matters to work somewhere where your effort is actually noticed. In my current role, I feel appreciated and supported, which should be normal … but after my experience here, it honestly felt shocking.

There are good people at the company, but based on my experience, I would not recommend it to someone looking for strong leadership, clear communication, realistic expectations or a workplace where employees feel genuinely valued.

● Work-life balance
If you have a family emergency be ready to be questioned and the management to try and force you to stay.

● Pay & benefits
If you have no pto and have an emergency you get docked points. Want to take time off months in advance? If you don’t have any pto well too bad so sad.

● Management
Shifts supervisors play favorites and put the production above your personal safety and well being. They hide important outbreaks from employees. They write bad reviews for you and lie to your face.

● Overall
The owner is a great guy but his shift supervisors are power hungry egomaniacs who care more about the numbers than your safety as an employee. They play favorites and if you’re not one...be prepared to get the short end of the stick every day or the week. You don’t get a say and you they keep you in the dark about everything. They will say you deserve a raise and you’re review was great but turn in a horrible review and never fill your raise paperwork out. It’s not worth it.

The management has their favorites, and everyone else better work to keep their jobs. The drafting department was expected to support the engineers while the engineers did no support the drafting  department. They expected you to know things you were never taught, before ever being learned. An engineer call up and threw you out for design that they had given you, but you were supposed to fix, and then get back to them so they could make it. The company management also selected favorites get to go on company trips, get taken out for lunch , and receive the best promotions. If you are not one of the selected few…Your job will only last 2 years or so before you are replaced and let go. 
 I was let go At my two year review while being told that I did a good job, I had a great work ethic, and I might attendance was spot on. And yet somehow I was still let go and replaced by a guy with no experience makes no sense to me. We’re here at your own risk!

Overall this is a good company with great intentions.  There are growing pains that are being experienced which is typical as a company gets to a certain size.  Efforts are being made to maintain a positive culture and make changes to improve the employee experience.  Treats are provided monthly to employees and company sponsored lunches are offered frequently.  Benefits are competitive and include personal time off as well as vacation.  There is an attendance policy with allows for flexibility to balance personal needs.  

Pros
The company has some truly amazing people, and there is an emphasis on creating a family-like culture. The benefits and pay are competitive.

Cons
However, there are significant management challenges. Recent changes and a general lack of organization have led to high turnover among talented staff. The workload is consistently heavy. Additionally, career growth often feels dependent on personal relationships with leadership; those who socialize heavily with management seem to get preferential treatment. Overall, the company culture doesn't feel very forward-thinking or innovative.

Advice to Management
Focus on retaining talent through better organization and more transparent, merit-based opportunities for advancement.

The work week is over 40 hours and they don't compensate you for the extra work. In my opinion, they don't allow enough time off. If a family issue arises and you have to leave, they give you a point and take away your PTO for those hours, there are  no personal days or sick days. Too much drama between the shifts. The lead on one of the shifts in one of the departments is not qualified and does a poor job. When HR or the supervisor is approached about it, nothing happens.


This company has changed their views on employee treatment.   With the merging of companies,  WB (Work Space Plus) is much less family oriented than in the past.   Much more corporate and less family oriented. 
When I wanted to discuss my situation with senior management and the president,  their open door policy closed.
I used to recommend this company to anyone needing a job or their products,  but now I tell people to avoid this company at all costs!


Very strict with attendance policy very toxic workplace environment managers will put different shifts against each other feature department only sides with upper management second shift has nobody to stand up for the workers on the floor have seen people get walked out for no reason but also seen people that should have been fired get protected for many reasons

The management is not good. They treat themselves over their employees. They make it very hard to get Accommodations for disabilities. They do not train you. They just hope you figure it out. They do not put you on any other machine so you can learn more. Same machine same job every day. Repetitive. Do not recommend anyone to apply.
