Managers are not helpful at all unless you are their favorite, money is all this company cares about. They used to care about their employees but now, you are just a body in a chair. You can work all day everyday and consistently achieve everything that you are supposed to and still be told "sorry, not good enough, you're not doing it the Wilmington Health way!"  They will overload you with so much work that you cant function and then criticize you when you say you are burnt out....you give, give, give and they take, take, take. After years of being loyal and dedicated to working here you can be let go for nothing at all with no explanation while the brown nose that calls in, is constantly late or leaving early and always on their cellphone gets to stay. The whole company is nothing but one giant double standard! Do yourself a favor and stay AWAY!!!

To be one of the biggest healthcare facilities in Wilmington 
It pays the least and has a bad reputation. Big turnover 
Of employees evaluations and maybe a raise of 40 cents 
Come once a year. But you have to work for it by submitting some kind of game changer idea, which will be ignored by management or they will tell you it's not in the budget!!
Lol plus you have to volunteer and turn that in to HR

A lot of favouritism among the company!!! Each year they hold a company employee appreciation day, big joke
We get plastic cups as a gift while the managers and providers hold formal dinners with dances where they mingle 
Have fun and figure out ways to cut our pay or any increase
Wilmington is not a good area for anyone who is looking 
For work period. Only positive thing I can say is
We get free lunch Provided by the drug reps.

This company is about numbers and the providers are money driven. After Covid begin they were making us work less hours knowing we wouldn’t qualify for unemployment then 1 month later when over 100+ employees got denied for Unemployment they just threw their hands up and was like Oo well you’ll have to wait until it gets figured out ...forget that people
Are single parents having to live on a 46hr check for a biweekly pay....then if that wasn’t enough all the admin were allowed to work from home and we were told they were to important to get infected and we signed up to be frontline and got forced on furlough if you questioned where they methods to providing PPE, and help .....last 2-3yrs WORST COMPANY TO EVER WORK FOR

There is absolutely no benefit to individuality or reaching beyond your position to do more.  You will be disciplined and frowned upon for it.  Employees are dispensable and all the same.  There is no anonymous way to report anything, it all goes to your manager.  If you have concerns about your manager, you cannot tell anyone or you will be fired.  Favoritism runs rampant.  You can be a horrible employee but if you follow their rules and clock in, you'll do fine.  However, if you're one minute late but go above and beyond and give your all...you'll be fired for the one minute.  Pay is low.  There is no formal training.  You must figure out on your own what is expected before you make a mistake.  Enjoy your black uniform.
Be sure they manage your benefits and pay correctly.  They do not correct their own mistakes.

It depends on which department you work some coworkers are friendly others will make you feel like a outsider. I worked there two years and not once felt included in anything. I worked my butt off always took over time and helped with the things no one wanted to do because nobody else would. If you aren't part of the click or know someone there is not room for advancement. Your raises are part of your evaluation they make it an incentive not something you earned they want you to volunteer and help them find solutions they find fit to fix things at wilmington health and if you dont do all of it you wont get a decent raise. And for human resources there are only a few that really help you it's like pulling teeth to get anything done.

Management has their favorites.  These favorites can do whatever they please, come and go when they want, wear whatever they want with no repercussions.  Other people are written up and sent home if you are not part of the management click group.  Under management is unprofessional, they use foul language and they talk about employees in front of staff.  They also push people to resign with threats of firing after years of employment with no bad evaluations.  I would recommend taking a job anywhere else in the healthcare field even if the salary is lower.  Turnover speaks volume and so does these reviews.  Don’t take a job with this company.  They also always threaten mandatory overtime, especially on holidays.

Wilmington Health is a good place to start if you want to learn about patient care. The culture is secretive, and intolerant. However, they tolerate and reward employees that bully, as long as that employee works extra hours and talks to the right manager. They have different rules for different representatives. There is no management support, and no encouragement. If you want to move up in the company, you simply must be a favorite. Also, they start out the new hires making more than the employee's that have been there for years.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Working from home. Not dealing with people who believe  the world revolves around only themselves, and theirdelusional behavior.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Dealing with the insurance companies.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Hybrid so ,a little complicated.  For the most part very positive, with occasional hiccups. Supportive,  encouraging, yet at times it can be a tad toxic. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Depends on multiple factors. Calling insurance,research as to why a claim failed to pay. Filing appeals.

This is an un-ethical, biased company. Great benefits is the best thing they offer, but the work/ life balance does not exist. You are expected to work here and be miserable. Your matters, personal life situations, health does not matter to these people. If you are a person with a great attitude, look elsewhere because this is not for you. Management is always the problem and until they realize that, nothing will change about this company. They do not particularly care for the patients, it’s only about the money, and how they can get more money out of them. It’s actually disgusting. 

Very stressfull, but Love what I do...I can find a vein with my eyes closed..thats the best way to feel them..co worker is very smart,but takes tihngs out on me since we are the only 2 working for 6 providers and our lab schedule..The most enjoyable part of my job is hearing my Pt.s tell me that was the best job ever and can I follow them to the Hospital. Management is new and I like her. The other one resigned. The hardest part is when my co-worker leaves me alone with all of this so she can help the nurses and schedule labs..which is not included in her job title. How can you do 20 words min with all these Questions?
