Let's start off with the good. Their pay is really good for the area and they give away a lot of free merchandise and swag. They also supply their employees with a lot of different varieties of snacks and buy them individual meals at the end of each month. That's probably where the good ends. 

Some of the biggest red flags that I saw on day one, was the fact that they didn't even know that I was coming to start or where I was supposed to be. 

The second red flag that I saw on day one was, the fact that every single person in the kitchen was under a year old working there and even leads were barely a year there. A lot of the people were telling me that there's a high turnover rate.

 Management cannot communicate effectively with each other and figure out where employees are supposed to be working. On multiple occasions I would be told by one lead or manager to go to certain area in the facility. when I  would get there the lead would have no idea about it. They would then tell me to go somewhere else. when I proceed on my way to the new destination that I was given the original lead would usually see me walking there and accuse me of wandering around and doing whatever I want and not listening to the rules. Even after explaining in great detail of what happened previously. They would still accuse me of not doing what I'm supposed to and listening to them, even though I was told to go by another lead to go to a different location. Even when I tried to clear things up and discuss it with the original leads instructions before heading to the new destination, it still is my fault. 

I gave them multiple ideas on how to improve the working situation because it's dangerous and strenuous on a lot of people. People were constantly getting hurt in the kitchen from overuse/ repetitive injuries. Instead of listening they waved me away or tell me that if I want to improve something then I would have to go and do the research for the companies to supply them with what I was talking about. (Example given) The shelves that they put the gummy trays on to dry have spaces that when you spin the whole thing your finger can easily slip in and get slip in can either get twisted or broken. I recommended a solid shelf with no holes in it. At first they told me to go and look for a company to buy them from. (what should be something that management should be doing) And then gave me the excuse it would be too expensive.

 I ended up getting hurt from repetitive use injury and had to go on workman's comp. At this time I am still getting physical therapy it has been  over a year now at least. I was not able to do much. They eventually ended up putting up a false schedule with incorrect shifts for me to be off, so I was a no-call no-show by their standards. I didn't take pictures for proof and they changed it before I could have anyone get proof. but other employees saw that I was supposed to be off too but they fired me for it.

 I gave the production manager the first day that I got hurt my restrictions. At first he told me that at any point if the work that he gave me starts making my injury hurt worse to come tell him immediately.  when I did he told me these exact words that "he's done playing games with me" This was the first time that I come to him telling him that what he gave me was making my injury hurt. I did go to HR about it which they told him that that was inappropriate and that's about it. It didn't stop the passive aggressiveness that was going around towards me because I was no longer useful. 
They play favoritism and let people that they like get away with whatever they want and others you barely even look the wrong way and they will come down on you. 

They also don't take cross-contamination seriously. Countless occasions I saw people eating on the floor around product. Stuff like nuts and seeds around open product. HR and management never did anything about it. Most of the time it was the leads eating. Also contamination between flavors would happen a lot. I would be able to physically see color swirls and differences in a lot of the gummies especially the apple and cherry. Strangely enough they were more concerned about what was on the bottom of your shoes and even made you wear booties or special shoes than the stuff above. Hair nets where also an issue. They knew that the hair nets were too loose and and that they were not a good enough quality to actually hold hair back. I brought it to management's attention multiple times and even gave proof. They continued to order the same brand, so hair would end up falling out of the hair nets a lot and get into product.

 Overall I was extremely disappointed In what I experienced from wyld I never imagined that I would be treated the way I was and saw what I did. 

Unless you are prepared to take on the workload of multiple people within sanitation, this role may not be the right fit.
I joined the company during a transition period and received minimal training. After speaking with other employees, it became clear that this is a common experience. New hires are often expected to learn quickly with limited onboarding and support.
While my coworkers were generally kind and supportive, there is a noticeable lack of organizational emphasis on maintaining sanitation standards. Even after completing thorough deep cleans, areas would quickly become unsanitary again due to inconsistent habits across departments. This created a continuous cycle of rework that made it difficult to stay ahead.
The role itself involved frequent exposure to challenging and, at times, concerning sanitation conditions. There were instances where biohazards were not promptly addressed or reported, which increased both the workload and the potential risk to staff and production areas.
At one point, I was asked to take responsibility for cleaning two separate facilities after another sanitation employee transferred roles. When I inquired about additional compensation for the increased workload, the request was declined, and the expectation shifted without a clear plan for maintaining standards across both sites.
I came into the position motivated, with ideas for improving processes and sanitation outcomes. However, with only one sanitation worker and limited accountability across other departments for daily upkeep, it became extremely difficult to implement meaningful improvements. Repeated attempts to raise concerns about cleanliness and safety were not consistently addressed.
Over time, the role became physically demanding due to the volume of deferred cleaning tasks. Without shared responsibility across teams, sanitation often felt reactive rather than preventative.
There also appears to be limited opportunity for advancement within sanitation. When I raised this concern, there was no clear pathway or framework provided for growth.
Additionally, some leadership interactions were challenging. Communication styles in certain cases felt dismissive or overly condescending, which made collaboration more difficult than it needed to be.
Turnover across multiple departments is high, and based on my experience, this may be tied to workload expectations and workplace culture.
The primary positives I can highlight are the pay and benefits, which are competitive. However, for me, they did not outweigh the challenges associated with the role.

A typical day depends on what department you work in. Generally, you’d clock in, put on PPE, and go to your work area. 

The work assignments change throughout the day. There is a lack of consistency and serious lack of communication. Being able to be “flexible” with your work is an understatement— you have to bend over backwards to accommodate quick changes in assignments. 

Management is withholding on information necessary for production workers to understand why requirements are changing. They are sometimes available for 1-1 discussions, but it’s unlikely your concerns, opinions and / or questions will be addressed satisfactorily, if at all. There is no sense of solidarity  or support between management and their teams. 

The culture is very “we’re inclusive, diverse, we care about you, the environment” etc. It is very performative; the company makes large gestures that on the surface, supports their claims, but the reality is they do not respect their employees nor is there much diversity in personnel. 

The hardest part of the job was the constant increase in expectations and demands. Our work load is frequently increased during the day, and we are expected to finish it all within the original time constraints. 

Additionally, the lack of communication between departments and managers was unbearable. No one knows what’s going on except managers, and they aren’t forthcoming with the information employees need.

A more recent difficulty was being required to work “mandatory overtime” for more than 10 weeks. We were told if we refused, we would be fired for “job abandonment”. We worked 5, 10 hour shifts for nearly 3 months with no appreciation or acknowledgment from management. We were never told how long this would last, and they would post the schedules without communicating that we were still doing overtime. Our frustrations were ignored, and many people feared being fired if they continued to ask questions and express their frustration. 

The only enjoyable part of the job were the people I worked directly with, my immediate coworkers. The support between fellow employees is what kept many from having emotional breakdowns—and sometimes even that wasn’t enough. 

If it's one thing I've learned from working here is that I have never been so wrong about people I thought were good or even decent. All turned out to be foul and full blown negative and selfish. You would think inventory is easy but no one pulls their weight. In my time here I've learned that good people get fired and the bad ones are still employed oddly enough. I've learned suggestions are never given credit, people latch on to you if you then tear you down, and people who shouldn't be employee of the month some how always seem to get it. It's a joke. Lost all respect for this place and it is just so low. The work environment is beyond toxic and beyond negative. It's hard to have decent days, when im reminded of all thats happeend and everyone is fake and nobody works hard and scrapes by. Cant go to my manager for anything because they are skiddish and bias and i dont trust their judgement on anything anymore. I don't feel like I belong in this department and It's hard to trust my coworkers. No one takes ownership in their mistakes and work. I've learned this place especially this department does not care about anything but numbers and sales. I've learned when others mention workplace culture i have no idea what they even mean other than a culture that is what you think it would be In this type of environmental. There is no real culture. That's a joke cause you realize it after some time it's only one type especially in this department. Hardest part is coming to work every day.

Despite raising concerns with management, no action was taken. A meeting on workplace respect felt insincere. My experience was marked by a lack of support and eventual marginalization. Colleagues shared similar concerns. HR was informed, with no apparent action.

My application for a senior role was dismissed for tenure/software familiarity, while an external candidate with seemingly less relevant experience was hired, raising concerns about equitable hiring practices. The company needs to address this concerning culture.

Wyld definitely gives everyone a fair chance at growing within the company as long as you’re doing everything you’re supposed to do.  I’ve seen a lot of deserving people move up and it’s actually really motivating. The incentives are great and they even offer some Voluntary OT occasionally.  There’s definitely been a lot of changes compared to how things were in the beginning of the year but good changes. The facility is much bigger than it used to be. It does have its flaws but it’s still in the process of growing, so I feel like if you stick it out, the rewards will be great. You can tell they’re making a good effort at making this a job a better place for its employees. They actually try to make employees  happy and that goes a long way on its own. The turn over rate is HIGH because it’s not for everyone. If you don’t like working in a face paced environment, repetitive movements, and sitting for long periods of time, then this is definitely not for you. The managers and supervisors are nice people and make work fun or atleast give us a good laugh here and there so that’s always cool because it makes time go by fast. They’re are really encouraging and remind us as a team that we’re doing great all the time. Some of the managers play music which is also nice. As long as you’re not there to make friends, you’ll do great. Make your money and go home is my best advice.

What is the best part of working at the company?
There is an amazing culture at Wyld. This company actually treats it's workers like human beings, instead of just a means to an end. Amazing benefits, great pay, and (truly) endless opportunities for advancement. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Wyld is a fast growing company that is expanding from the west coast to the east. Working as a vital part of a new launch can be a bit hectic and because each state regulation is different, but having a hand in the process + the daily perks honestly makes it all  more than worth it.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The culture at Wyld is incredibly warm and accepting. No matter your age, race, orientation, gender identity, or personal background, you will find Wyld a safe and supportive place to work. There is also a real effort made to foster a healthy work/life balance. Wyld even pays for paternal time off when you have a baby, and will even pay you to do community outreach/volunteer work of your choice on your days off.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Clock in, start the production of gummies, take a 10 min break after 2 hours, then work for 2 more hours. Then clock out for an hour lunch. After lunch, work for 2 more hours until the final 10 min break. Then, 2 more hours of work until it's time to clock out and go home. Leadership will make sure you take all your breaks. They don't want anyone getting fatigued or hurt due to overwork.

Each day I'd come in, verify my orders to my METRC manifests, and load the company car with all my shops orders for the day. Then I'd begin calling shops to let them know my ETA. Upon arrival, I'd sign into the shop, meet with their intake manager, pop open the boxes and count/verify everything inside matched my manifest. I'd receive payment, process it through quick books via my iphone, and be sure to ask if there was anything else I was able to do for them before leaving to my next stop. I'd label my cash envelope with the specific stores name and the amount inside, and keep them all together in a cash bag. At the end of my deliveries I would gas up the company vehicle, take a picture of the receipt to document my purchase on the company credit card, drop off all payments and receipts at head quarters, and return and sign back in the company vehicle keys.
During my time there I learned a lot about terpenes, cannabis and food grade. I learned a lot about the infusing process, and the cannabis/cbd entourage effect. 
The work place was always positive and lively. There was no room for negativity. Everyone got along with everyone, and we always made sure to help each other out.
The hardest part of the job was learning all the new things all at once, and having to make sure I didn't mess anything up. It was a little nerve wracking, but nothing that made me change my mind about working there.

Anyone who would put a low rating would literally out of there minds. It's hard work as any other job..........From the moment of my interview and how i was treated i knew WYLD was the absolute place to be at......The interview process is smooth, decision takes a little while.....Orientation is awesome! They explain everything thoroughly & complete so you understand. The pay is GREAT!! Cannot even attempt to complain.....The Vibe of the building is always good everyday, never a dull moment always with a smile on my face everyday i walk into that door. Went through very hard times financially before this job, and let me be the top advocate for saying this and i due mean this truthfully with all my heart....."WYLD TAKES CARE OF THEIR EMPLOYEES & REALLY HAS THERE BACKS, PERIOD!" and they've truthfully have had mine since day 1..........Because of WYLD i can hold my head up high again without a worry.....and i am beyond grateful......THANK YOU MR. MORRIS you are a great human being that has created great opportunities, I'm grateful for mine..... Mr. Yassa for Okaying my employment and talking with me direct........
